In this paper, optimal control problem (OCP) governed by the heat equation with thermal sources is considered. The aim is to find an optimal control which puts the system in a finite time T, into a stationary regime and to minimize a general objective function. To obtain an approximate solution of this problem, a partition of the time-control space is considered and the discrete form of the problem is converted to a quasi assignment problem. Then by using an evolutionary algorithm, an approximate optimal control function is obtained as a piecewise linear function. Numerical examples are given to show the proficiency of the presented algorithm.  相似文献

Peristaltic transport in a two-dimensional non-uniform tube filled with Herschel–Bulkley fluid is studied under the assumptions of long wavelength and low Reynold number. The fluid flow is investigated in the wave frame of reference moving with the velocity of the peristaltic wave. Exact solution for the velocity field, the temperature profile, the stream functions and the pressure gradient are obtained. The physical behavior of τ, n, α and on the pressure rise versus flow rate are discussed through graphs. At the end of the article trapping phenomena for Herschel–Bulkley and also for Newtonian, Bingham and power law (which are the special cases of Herschel–Bulkley fluid) fluid are discussed.  相似文献

This paper aims to present the generalized Kudryashov method to find the exact traveling wave solutions transmutable to the solitary wave solutions of the ubiquitous unsteady Korteweg–de Vries equation and its two famed alternatives, namely, the regularized long‐wave equation and the time regularized long‐wave equation. The exact analytic solutions of the studied equations are constructed explicitly in three forms, namely, hyperbolic, trigonometric, and rational function. The validity of our solutions is verified with MAPLE by putting them back into the original equation and found correct. Moreover, it has shown that the generalized Kudryashov method is an easy and reliable technique over the existing methods. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper a numerical technique is proposed for solving the time fractional diffusion-wave equation. We obtain a time discrete scheme based on finite difference formula. Then, we prove that the time discrete scheme is unconditionally stable and convergent using the energy method and the convergence order of the time discrete scheme is \(\mathcal {O}(\tau ^{3-\alpha })\). Firstly, we change the main problem based on Dirichlet boundary condition to a new problem based on Robin boundary condition and then, we consider a semi-discrete scheme with Robin boundary condition and show when \(\beta \rightarrow +\infty \) solution of the main semi-discrete problem with Dirichlet boundary condition is convergent to the solution of the new semi-discrete problem with Robin boundary condition. We consider the new semi-discrete problem with Robin boundary condition and use the meshless Galerkin method to approximate the spatial derivatives. Finally, we obtain an error bound for the new problem. We prove that convergence order of the numerical scheme based on Galekin meshless is \(\mathcal {O}(h)\). In the considered method the appeared integrals are approximated using Gauss Legendre quadrature formula. The main aim of the current paper is to obtain an error estimate for the meshless Galerkin method based on the radial basis functions. Numerical examples confirm the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

This work introduces a version of filter technique to produce an adaptive radius and then adds it into trust-region algorithm. This method uses advantages of the functions norm’s necessary information in order to produce a smaller radius of trust-region close to the optimizer and also a larger radius of trust-region far away from the optimizer using advantages of the filter technique (Fatemi and Mahdavi-Amiri, Comput. Optim. Appl. 52(1), 239–266 2012). Under some ordinary conditions, the global convergence of the proposed approach is proved. Numerical results are also presented.  相似文献

We investigate the correctness of the initial boundary value problem of longitudinal impact on a piecewise‐homogeneous semi‐infinite bar consisting of a semi‐infinite elastic part and finite length visco‐elastic part whose hereditary properties are described by linear integral relations with an arbitrary difference kernel. Introducing nonstationary regularization in boundary conditions and in the contact conditions, the well‐posedness of the considered problem is proved. The concept of a convex metric space was introduced by Takahashi [10]. He observed that it is possible to generalize fixed point theorems in Banach spaces. Subsequently, Machado [8], Itoh [5], Naimpally, Singh and Whitfield [9] and Beg and Azam [2], among others have studied fixed point theorems in convex metric spaces. In this paper, we study generalized Douglas–Weyl(α, β)-metrics. Suppose that a regular(α, β)-metric F is not of Randers type. We prove that F is a generalized Douglas–Weyl metric with vanishing S-curvature if and only if it is a Berwald metric. Moreover, by ignoring the regularity, if F is not a Berwald metric, then we find a family of almost regular Finsler metrics which is not Douglas nor Weyl. As its application, we show that generalized Douglas–Weyl square metric or Matsumoto metric with isotropic mean Berwald curvature are Berwald metrics.  相似文献

Let I be a monomial ideal in the polynomial ring S generated by elements of degree at most d. In this paper, it is shown that, if the i-th syzygy of I has no elements of degrees j,…,j+(d?1) (where ji+d), then (i+1)-th syzygy of I does not have any element of degree j+d. Then we give several applications of this result, including an alternative proof for Green–Lazarsfeld index of the edge ideals of graphs as well as an alternative proof for Fröberg’s theorem on classification of square-free monomial ideals generated in degree 2 with linear resolution. Among all, we deduce a partial result on subadditivity of the syzygies for monomial ideals.  相似文献
