During precancer development in epithelium, neoplastic cells remodel the underlying stroma, for example, the basement membrane, capillaries, fibroblasts, and extracellular matrix. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the nonlinear optical signals from the collagen matrix in stroma and the progression of early epithelial carcinogenesis. Two-photon excited fluorescence (TPEF) and second harmonic generation (SHG) signals were measured from the stroma of hamster oral cheek pouch in vivo. We found that three features, including the intensity ratio of TPEF over SHG, the spatial frequency distribution, and the texture feature of SHG images, provide the quantitative identification of epithelial precancer at different pathologic stages. We demonstrated that the combination of all three features by using a support vector machine algorithm can significantly improve the accuracy in the detection of epithelial precancer. 相似文献

This work investigated the effect of infusion of a self-made ultrasound contrast agent with long persistence (named ZHIFUXIAN) on rat right ventricular pressure and made a preliminary evaluation on the relative safety of the novel microbubbles. Normal saline, SonoVue and ZHIFUXIAN were injected through caudal vein at the total volume of 0.5 ml for each injection. The right ventricular systolic pressure (RVSP) and end-diastolic pressure (RVEDP) were monitored and the changes of the pressure were compared with baseline readings. RVSP increased when saline, SonoVue or ZHIFUXIAN were injected, the greatest change being after SonoVue (about 2 mm Hg), but there was no statistical significance compared with baseline (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in RVSP between saline, SonoVue and ZHIFUXIAN at any time point. Also, there was no significant difference in RVEDP between groups at each time point and between different time points in each group. The results indicate that the self-made microbubbles effect on right ventricular hemodynamics is equivalent to that of normal saline at the same volume needed for effective enhanced imaging, demonstrating that it does not produce changes in right ventricular blood pressure under the study conditions. The excess weight loss due to the evaporation of zinc compound is observed in the growth of ZnO film by trifluoroacetate metalorganic deposition (TFA-MOD) method. Higher temperature (>90 °C) aging and/or addition of monoethanolamine (MEA) are effective to prevent the evaporation of zinc compound and increase the yield of ZnO. The mechanism of preventing evaporation is that zinc trifluoroacetate is hydrolyzed into Zn4O(CF3COO)6. A three-dimensional structure of Zn4O(CF3COO)6 is proposed. It is shown that higher temperature aging does harm to the surface morphology of ZnO films. The addition of MEA reduces the required aging temperature thus improves the surface morphology. 相似文献

In this paper, we study the relationship between the pull-off force and the transition parameter (or Tabor number) as well as the variation of the pull-off radius with the transition parameter in the adhesion elastic contact. Hysteresis models are presented to describe the contact radius as a function of external loads in loading and unloading processes. This paper deals with the two dimensional (2-D) infrared photonic crystal slab with an air-bridge structure featuring defect waveguides in which the optical propagation properties were obtained by measurements of transmission spectra. 3-D finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulations have revealed the appearance of four defect propagation modes for the band structure and transmission spectra in the air-bridge slab. The fractional Fourier transform (FRT) of an elliptical dark-hollow beam (EDHB) is studied in detail. Based on the definition of FRT in the rectangular coordinate system, analytical formulae are derived for the FRT of an EDHB with the help of a tensor method. The properties of an EDHB in the FRT plane are illustrated numerically by use of the derived formulae. The results show that the properties of the EDHB in the FRT plane are closely related to the parameters of the beam and to the fractional order. The derived formula provides a convenient way for analyzing and calculating the FRT of an EDHB. 相似文献
