The daily closing prices of several stock market indices are examined to analyse whether noise reduction matters in measuring dependencies of the financial series. We consider the effect of noise reduction on the linear and nonlinear measure of dependencies. We also use singular spectrum analysis as a powerful method for filtering financial series. We compare the results with those obtained by ARMA and GARCH models as linear and nonlinear methods for filtering the series. The reactions of an epoxy prepolymer based on bisphenol A diglycidylether (DGEBA) with γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (γ-APS) are studied. The results of different techniques are compared: size exclusion chromatography, differential scanning calorimetry, chemical titration, and Fourier Transform Infrared absorption. Epoxy amine reactions are shown to be faster than the crosslinking reactions between alkoxysilane and hydroxy groups, and thus, can be studied seprately. The reactivity of the epoxy group in DGEBA is compared with that of phenylglycidylether (PGE). And the reactivity of the amine group of γ-APS is compared with that of hexylamine. The kinetic constants are calculated with a mechanism which takes into account both the catalytic and noncatalytic reactions. The ratio r = k2/k1 of the reactivity of the secondary to the primary amino-hydrogens was also determined. The values of r are 1.4 for hexylamine and 1.2 for γ-APS. The reactivity of the epoxy groups are the same for both PGE and DGEBA. 相似文献

Chitosan‐carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) full polysaccharide membrane was prepared by cross‐linking of chitosan with CMC dialdehyde and subsequent reductive amination. CMC dialdehyde molecule was prepared by periodate oxidation of CMC and then applied as a cross‐linking agent to form a new membrane network. The properties of oxidized CMC were investigated by various methods such as Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) spectroscopy, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and viscosity test. Then, novel chitosan‐CMC silver nanocomposite was prepared using chitosan‐CMC as a carrier. The structure of the chitosan‐CMC membrane and the silver nanocomposite were confirmed by FT‐IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). TEM images indicate that the chitosan‐CMC nanocomposite comprises silver nanoparticles with diameters in the range of about 5–20 nm. The antibacterial studies of the nanocomposite were also evaluated. The chitosan‐CMC silver nanocomposite demonstrates good antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Escherichia coli.
