In this paper, using the exp-function method we obtain some new exact solutions for (1+1)-dimensional and (2+1)-dimensional Kaup–Kupershmidt (KK) equations. We show figures of some of the new solutions obtained here. We conclude that the exp-function method presents a wider applicability for handling nonlinear partial differential equations.  相似文献

The inclusive production rate of the ρ±(770) vector meson in hadronic Z decays is measured with the ALEPH detector at the LEP collider. A total of 3.2 million hadronic events are selected from data recorded between 1991 and 1995. Decays of ρ±π0+π± are reconstructed for xE>0.05 and xp>0.05 where xp=pρ/pbeam and xE=Eρ/Ebeam. The average ρ± multiplicity per hadronic event is evaluated to be N(ρ±)=2.59±0.03±0.15±0.04 where the first error is statistical and the second systematic. The third error is from the uncertainty in the extrapolation to xp=xE=0. The rates and differential cross-section are compared with Monte Carlo model predictions and OPAL measurements. Residual Bose–Einstein correlations are found to be an important component in the analysis.  相似文献

In this article, we discuss the analytic solution of the fully developed shock waves. The homotopy perturbation method is used to solve the shock wave equation, which describes the flow of gases. Unlike the various numerical techniques, which are usually valid for short period of time, the solution of the presented equation is analytic for 0 < t < ∞. The results presented converge very rapidly, indicating that the method is reliable and accurate.  相似文献

A G‐design of order n is a decomposition of the complete graph on n vertices into edge‐disjoint subgraphs isomorphic to G. Grooming uniform all‐to‐all traffic in optical ring networks with grooming ratio C requires the determination of graph decompositions of the complete graph on n vertices into subgraphs each having at most C edges. The drop cost of such a grooming is the total number of vertices of nonzero degree in these subgraphs, and the grooming is optimal when the drop cost is minimum. The existence spectrum problem of G‐designs for five‐vertex graphs is a long standing problem posed by Bermond, Huang, Rosa and Sotteau in 1980, which is closely related to traffic groomings in optical networks. Although considerable progress has been made over the past 30 years, the existence problems for such G‐designs and their related traffic groomings in optical networks are far from complete. In this paper, we first give a complete solution to this spectrum problem for five‐vertex graphs by eliminating all the undetermined possible exceptions. Then, we determine almost completely the minimum drop cost of 8‐groomings for all orders n by reducing the 37 possible exceptions to 8. Finally, we show the minimum possible drop cost of 9‐groomings for all orders n is realizable with 14 exceptions and 12 possible exceptions.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to obtain the approximate analytical solution of a fractional Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation by using homotopy perturbation method (HPM). The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. Several examples are given and the results are compared to exact solutions. In this paper we develop a general approach to generate all non-dominated solutions of the multi-objective integer programming (MOIP) Problem. Our approach, which is based on the identification of objective efficiency ranges, is an improvement over classical ε-constraint method. Objective efficiency ranges are identified by solving simpler MOIP problems with fewer objectives. We first provide the classical ε-constraint method on the bi-objective integer programming problem for the sake of completeness and comment on its efficiency. Then present our method on tri-objective integer programming problem and then extend it to the general MOIP problem with k objectives. A numerical example considering tri-objective assignment problem is also provided.  相似文献

In this study, first, a formula for regularized sums of eigenvalues of a Sturm‐Liouville problem with retarded argument at 2 points of discontinuity which contains a spectral parameter in the boundary conditions is obtained. After that, oscillation properties of the related problem is investigated. In this study, proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) method is applied to diffusion–convection–reaction equation, which is discretized using space–time discontinuous Galerkin (dG) method. We provide estimates for POD truncation error in dG-energy norm, dG-elliptic projection, and space–time projection. Using these new estimates, we analyze the error between the dG and the POD solution, and the error between the exact and the POD solution. Numerical results, which are consistent with theoretical convergence rates, are presented.  相似文献

The synthesis of three bimetallic cyanido complexes with edbea [2,2′-(ethylenedioxy)bis(ethylamine)] ligand is reported. [NiII(μ-edbea)2{Au(μ-CN)2}2]n (1), [{CuII(edbea)}2{Au(μ-CN)2}4]n (2) and [CdII(edbea)2][Au(CN)2]2·H2O (3) were fully characterized by elemental, infrared, XRD (3), ESI-MS and thermal analysis. The DNA/BSA binding properties of these complexes were evaluated by spectrophotometric titration, fluorometric ethidium bromide kinetics, and DNA electrophoresis studies and their partially minor groove binding mode between the base pairs of DNA and electrostatic interaction between the amino acid residues of BSA were explained. The complexes were tested for their pharmacological properties. These molecules had excellent in vitro antiproliferative activity and also exhibited a strong tumor inhibiting effect against HT29, HeLa, C6 and Vero cell lines. These complexes had metastatic features as they are able to reduce cell migration activity and suppress tumor growth in vitro. Analysis of the DNA topoisomerase I relaxing activity indicates that the complexes do not inhibit topoisomerase I which regulates the topological states of the DNA double helix during DNA processing reactions. The TUNEL and DNA laddering assay results indicated that these compounds may destroy cell maintenance by triggering apoptosis. Immunohistochemistry staining analysis demonstrated that these complexes significantly decreased the expression of Bcl-2 in HeLa and HT29 cells while increasing the expression of P53 levels. Overall, the potent antiproliferative activity, low cytotoxic effect, good solubility, and micro molar range dosage observed for these complexes emphasizes their potential as anticancer drug candidates.  相似文献
