A kinetic study on the thermal decomposition of 3-nitro and 4-nitro-benzaldehyde-2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazones was carried out. The isothermal and dynamic differential scanning calorimetric curves were recorded for solids and melts, respectively. The standard isoconversional analysis of the obtained curves from both isothermal and nonisothermal analysis suggests an autocatalytic decomposition mechanism. This mechanism is also supported by the temperature dependence of the observed induction periods. Based on the results of the model-free method from nonisothermal regime, the kinetic model was derived and the kinetic parameters were obtained by means of a multivariate nonlinear regression.  相似文献

The purpose of this research study was evaluation of the utility of two common multivariate techniques, agglomerative cluster analysis (CA) and principal component analysis (PCA), as supplementary means of detecting incompatibilities, which can occur between active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients at the preformulation stage of a solid dosage form. For the detection of incompatibilities between atenolol (beta blocker) and selected excipients (mannitol, lactose, starch, methylcellulose, β-cyclodextrin, meglumine, chitosan, polyvinylpyrrolidone and magnesium stearate), the thermogravimetry (TG), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) were chosen. The results have shown that compatibility between atenolol and an excipient can be identified in a CA dendrogram by two large clusters, from which one groups an excipient and physical mixtures with a high concentration of the excipient. Another cluster encompasses atenolol and mixtures with a high content of the drug. In the PCA plot, all samples are located along the first principal component axis (PC1), beginning from a single component located with the most negative PC1 value, through mixtures with gradually varying concentration of both ingredients, till the second component located close to the most positive PC1 values. The results have shown that CA and PCA fulfil their role as supporting techniques in the interpretation of the data acquired from the TG curves, and the obtained data are compatible with the results of DSC and FTIR analyses.  相似文献

A library of imidazo[1,2‐a]pyridines was synthesized by using the Gevorgyan method and their linear and non‐linear optical properties were studied. Derivatives that contained both electron‐donating and electron‐withdrawing groups at the 2 position were comprehensively investigated. Their emission quantum yield ranged between 0.2–0.7 and it was shown to depend on the substitution pattern, most notably that on the phenyl ring. Electron‐donating substituents improved the luminescence performance of these compounds, whereas electron‐withdrawing substituents led to a more erratic behavior. Substitution on the six‐membered ring had less effect on the fluorescence properties. Extension of the delocalization increased the luminescence quantum yield. A new quadrupolar system was designed that contained two imidazo[1,2‐a]pyridine units on its periphery and a 1,4‐dicyanobenzene unit at its center. This system exhibited a large Stokes‐shifted luminescence that was affected by the polarity and rigidity of the solvent, which was ascribed to emission from an excited state with strong charge‐transfer character. This quadrupolar feature also led to an acceptable two‐photon absorption response in the NIR region.  相似文献

We have prepared a sol–gel that incorporates Prussian Blue (PB) as a redox mediator. It is shown that the PB in the pores of the sol–gel retains its electrochemical activity and is protected from degradation at acidic and neutral pH values. TEM and EDX studies revealed the PB nanoparticles to possess a cubic crystal structure and to be well entrapped and uniformly dispersed in the pores of the matrix. The electrocatalytic activity of the materials toward hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) was studied by cyclic voltammetry and amperometry. The modified electrode displays good sensitivity for the electrocatalytic reduction of H2O2 both in acidic (pH 1.4) and neutral media. The sensor has a dynamic range from 3 to 210 μM of H2O2, and the detection limit is 0.6 μM (at an SNR of 3).

Cellulose acetate phthalate/ethyl cellulose blends were investigated by means of attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), thermogravimetry/differential thermal analysis (TGA-DTGA), shear viscosity and oscillatory shear tests. The studies showed a higher thermal stability, induced by the occurrence of hydrogen bonding, more predominant in ethyl cellulose and blends with higher content of ethyl cellulose. The effect of solution concentrations in N,N-dimethylacetamide, blend compositions and shear rate on the rheological functions generated regions with properties typical for liquid crystalline solutions in the shear field. These studies are suggested to be useful in identification of liquid crystal properties, required in some electrotechnical applications.  相似文献

Formation of inclusion complexes between α- and β-cyclodextrins and three antipyrine type compounds (antipyrine, 4-amino-antipyrine, 4-nitroso-antipyrine), in solution and in solid state, has been investigated. UV–Vis measurements indicate that in solution antipyrine derivatives do not form inclusion complexes and oxidative process of amino group is not influenced by the presence of cyclodextrins. The oxidation of 4-amino-antipyrine to 4-nitroso-antipyrine using DPPH type radicals was investigated using spin trapping experiments in organic solvents and in water. These results were explained by betainic configuration of antipyrine derivatives in aqueous solutions. Formation of inclusion complexes in solid states was evidenced by DSC, as peaks associated with various thermodynamic events (dehydration, melting, thermal decomposition) are shifted towards higher temperature or disappear in case of inclusion complexes.  相似文献

In this paper we obtain for the first time nonlinear conditions for the existence of the exponential trichotomy of skew-product flows in infinite dimensional spaces. We treat the most general case without any additional assumptions concerning the cocycle and without assuming a priori the existence of the projection families. We show that an inedit assembly of integral conditions imply the existence of the exponential trichotomy with all of its properties and we prove that the imposed conditions are also necessary. Our results generalize the previous studies on this topic and provide as particular cases many interesting situations, among which we mention the detection of the exponential trichotomy of general non-autonomous systems.  相似文献
