This paper presents the theory describing the dynamical behavior of a noncontacting lateral transportation of planer objects by means of a gas squeeze film created by traveling flexural waves of a driving surface. An oscillating motion in the normal direction between two surfaces can generate a gas film with an average pressure higher than the surrounding. This load-carrying phenomenon arises from the fact that a viscous flow cannot be instantaneously squeezed; therefore, fast vibrations give rise to a cushioning effect. Equilibrium is established through a balance between viscous flow forces and compressibility forces. When the oscillatory motion between two surfaces creates traveling waves, lateral viscous forces are generated in addition to the normal levitation forces. These forces are produced as a result of nonuniform pressure gradients in the lateral direction between the surfaces. The combination of normal and lateral forces could be used for transporting objects without any direct contact with the driving surface. The numerical algorithm in this work couples the squeeze film phenomenon, which is represented by means of finite difference equations, to model a variant of the Reynolds equation, together with the equations describing the dynamics of the floating object. Numerical simulations are presented and investigated to highlight noteworthy topics.  相似文献

In our article we explain the connections between the implementation of quality assurance (QA) in research and routine analytical laboratories. J. K. Taylor claims that QA in an analytical laboratory consists of two independent but closely related terms, quality control and quality assessment. If we construct the QA system according to his ideas, problems concerning quality can be solved with only one concept regardless of the type of analytical laboratory. Therefore there is no need to introduce new QA standards for research laboratories as suggested in some papers. In the routine laboratory quality control is more important, while in the research laboratory quality assessment is dominant.  相似文献

We demonstrate the acquisition of stimulated Raman scattering spectra with the use of a single femtosecond pulse. High-resolution vibrational spectra are obtained by shifting the phase of a narrow band of frequencies within the input pulse spectrum, using spectral shaping. The vibrational lines are resolved via amplitude features formed in the spectrum after interaction with the sample. Using this technique, low-frequency Raman lines (<100 cm?1) are observed on both the Stokes and anti-Stokes sides.  相似文献

We elaborate on the dynamics of noncommutative two-dimensional gauge field theories. We consider U(N) gauge theories with fermions in either the fundamental or the adjoint representation. Noncommutativity leads to a rather non-trivial dependence on theta (the noncommutativity parameter) and to a rich dynamics. In particular the mass spectrum of the noncommutative U(1) theory with adjoint matter is similar to that of ordinary (commutative) two-dimensional large-NSU(N) gauge theory with adjoint matter. The noncommutative version of the ?t Hooft model receives a non-trivial contribution to the vacuum polarization starting from three-loops order. As a result the mass spectrum of the noncommutative theory is expected to be different from that of the commutative theory.  相似文献

(1S,2S)-N1,N2-Bis(3-chlorobenzyl)cyclohexane-1,2-diamine 1a′ and (1S,2S)-N1,N2-bis(4-chlorobenzyl)cyclohexane-1,2-diamine 1b′ were used to prepare chiral Cu(II) complexes Cu-Y-1a, Cu-Y-1b, Cu-mZSM5-1a, and Cu-mZSM5-1b by a flexible ligand method using copper exchanged zeolite Y and mesoporous ZSM-5. The characterization of zeolite supported complexes was performed by microanalysis, IR-, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), EPR spectroscopy, specific rotation and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The catalytic activity of these supported complexes was explored for the asymmetric nitroaldol reaction of various aldehydes with nitromethane at 0 °C. Excellent yields (up to 99%) of β-hydroxy nitroalkane with an ee of up to 94% were achieved in the case of benzaldehyde as substrate. Significantly, the performance of the supported catalyst was better in terms of enantioselectivity than the complex under homogenous conditions. The supported catalysts were recycled four times with no observable loss in performance and no leaching of the catalytically active complex during the nitroaldol reaction.  相似文献
