A series of new N‐substituted isoquinolin‐1,3‐dione derivatives were prepared, starting from reaction of (Z)‐4‐((E)‐3‐phenylallylidene)isochromane‐1,3‐dione 4 with different nitrogen nucleophiles. The assigned structures of the prepared compounds were elucidated by spectral methods (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass spectroscopy). Some of the newly prepared compounds were tested in vitro against a panel of three human tumor cell lines, namely, hepatocellular carcinoma (liver) HepG2, colon cancer HCT‐116, and mammary gland breast MCF‐7. Also, they were tested as antioxidants. Some of the tested compounds showed very strong cytotoxic activity with respect to the standard.  相似文献

This paper presents an experimental approach to study the capillary impregnation of a liquid across an array of parallel micro-cylinders. The technique presented successfully validates the theoretical findings of part I, and provides a methodology to calculate the fill time and the overall capillary impregnation dynamics for any arbitrary cylindrical sample made of aligned micro-cylinders, by taking into account the role of the trapped gas, which opposes and slows down the inward capillary flow.  相似文献

The magnesium, calcium, and strontium metal derivatives of 2, 2, 4, 4, 6, 6, 8, 8‐octamethylcyclotetrasilazane (OMCTS) have been synthesized and structurally characterized by X‐ray diffraction studies. These are the first complexes of the homologous series of alkaline earth metalated OMCTS. Similar to the homologous series of the corresponding alkali metal complexes, the structural properties show remarkable tendencies in the series from magnesium to strontium. The magnesium dication causes the most pronounced deformation along the transannular N···N vector of the [(c‐N‐SiMe2‐NH‐SiMe2‐)2]2‐ dianionic ring. The lengths of the Si‐N bonds are correlated to the bond types, so that shorter distances result when the bonds become more ionic. The difference between the long Si‐N(H) bonds and the short Si‐N bonds decreases gradually with the increasing mass of the alkaline earth metal dication.  相似文献

A new, highly sensitive probe L2 for the selective detection of Hg2+ in organo-aqueous (H2O:CH3CN, 1:1, v/v, HEPES buffer, pH 7.2) medium has been synthesized from rhodamine 6G-hydrazide and 4-nitroindole-3-carboxaldehyde. It was thoroughly characterized by physicochemical techniques including single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The reaction of L2 with Hg2+ gives a 1:1 stoichiometry resulting in a 146 fold fluorescence enhancement and a binding constant (Kf) of 3?×?104 M?1. The spirolactam form of the probe is non-fluorescent; however, it shows dual channel (absorbance and fluorescence) recognition of Hg2+ via CHEF effect through the opening of the spirolactam ring. The quantum yields of L2 (0.00045) and L2-Hg2+ (0.29) show the higher stability of complex in the excited state over the free ligand. The 44.5?nM LOD value demonstrates the detection of Hg2+ at a very low concentration range. Cell imaging studies show the cytoplasmic recognition of Hg2+ by L2. Experimental results are comparable with theoretical values obtained by DFT studies. The fluorescence emission of the complex was completely quenched by I- and from the reversibility studies an advance level INHIBIT logic gate and memory device can be framed.  相似文献

The stoichiometry and structure of salicylidenebenzoic-hydrazine (SBH) chelates with UO2(II), Ce(III) and Th(IV) in buffer-ethanol mixtures and in pure ethanol is studied applying conductometric titration, visible spectrophotometry and ir-spectrophotometry. Aiming at a synthesis of spiro[2.4]hepta-4,6-dienes with a carbon substituent at C-4, we investigated solvolysis reactions of the thiatricycle 2, obtained from spiro[2.4]hepta-4,6-diene (1) and thiophosgene by [4 + 2] cycloaddition. With methanol or ethanol a mixture of the esters 7 and 8 was formed. Desulfurization of the thionoesters 8 gave methyl and ethyl spiro[2.4]hepta-4,6-diene-4-carboxylate (10a,b). The corresponding alcohol (11) was prepared from 10b by LiAlH(4) reduction. Ethenetetracarbonitrile combined with the 4-substituted spiro[2.4]hepta-4,6-dienes to give the [4 + 2] cycloadducts 12a-c. Diels-Alder reaction between 11 and 2-chloroacrylonitrile afforded the spiro(bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene-7,1'-cyclopropane) derivative 14a that was transformed in three steps to rac-10-hydroxycamphor (17). This synthesis of a bornane derivative opens opportunity for variations and thus may find further applications.  相似文献

A method for the extraction and gas chromatographic determination of methylmercury in biological matrices is presented. By combining the advantages of two extraction techniques-microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) and solid-phase microextraction (SPME)--the separation of methylmercury from biological samples is possible. Specifically, the procedure involves microwave extraction with 3 M hydrochloric acid, followed by aqueous-phase derivatization with sodium tetraphenylborate and headspace SPME with a silica fibre coated with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). For optimization of the derivatization-SPME procedure, a central composite experimental design with alpha = 1.682 and two central points was used to model gas-chromatographic peak areas as functions of pH, extraction temperature and sorption time. A desirability function was then used for the simultaneous optimization for methylmercury and Hg(II). The optimal derivatization-SPME conditions identified were close to pH 5, temperature 100 degrees C, and sorption time 15 min. The identification and quantification of the extracted methylmercury is carried out by gas chromatography with microwave-induced plasma atomic emission spectrometry detection. The validity of the new procedure is shown by the results of analyses of certified reference materials.  相似文献

The synthesis of mononuclear cobalt(II/III) complexes with two different ligands (complex 2: [Co(valp)2(2,9‐dmp)] and complex 3: [Co(valp)2(H2O)(1,10‐phen)]) was investigated and the characterization of both complexes was achieved using IR, UV–Vis, and single crystal X‐ray diffraction. Using single crystal X‐ray diffraction, the crystal structure of each of the complexes was determined. Additionally, the biological activity of these complexes was studied in five gram‐positive and four gram‐negative bacterial strains. Whereas in all gram‐negative bacteria tested, cobalt valproate complexes did not show any anti‐bacterial activity, both complexes had effects on gram positive bacteria. Complex 2 demonstrated good anti‐bacterial activity against all gram‐positive bacteria with inhibition zone diameter (IZD) ranging between 15–28 mm. Complex 3 exhibited low inhibition activity against all gram‐positive bacteria except E. faecalis with IZD ranging between 11.3–13.7 mm. Moreover, as an indication of its uses as industrial catalyst, the rate of bis(p‐nitrophenyl) phosphate (BNPP) hydrolysis when catalyzed by these complexes was measured at different temperatures, concentrations and pH. Complex 2 proved to be a better catalyst to induce the hydrolysis of BNPP.  相似文献
