In this communication, we report the ultrafast dynamics of resonance energy transfer in a blue-light photoreceptor, Vibrio cholerae cryptochrome. The transfer was observed to occur in 60 ps. We also studied the local rigidity and solvation around the binding site of the photoantenna molecule. The results for the first time show energy transfer in cryptochrome suggesting some mechanistic similarities between photolyase that repairs damaged DNA and cryptochrome that mediates blue-light signaling.  相似文献

Milligram amounts of permanganate can be titrated with resacetophenone oxime (4-acetylresorcinol oxime) as a reducing titrant in the presence of phosphoric acid (0.5 M). The stoichiometry between permanganate and the oxime is 3:1 (MnO4-:oxime). The titration is successful in the presence of large amounts of dichromate or vanadate or moderate amounts of cerium(IV).  相似文献

Atom transfer radical polymerization conditions with copper(I) bromide/2,2-bipyridine (Cu/2,2-bpy) as the catalyst system were employed for the homopolymerization and random copolymerization of 1-phenoxycarbonyl ethyl methacrylate (PCMA) with methyl methacrylate (MMA). Temperature studies indicated that the polymerizations occurred smoothly in bulk at 110 °C. Poly(PCMA)(polydispersity index=1.27) homopolymer was characterized and then used as macroinitiator for increasing its molecular weight. The homopolymerization of PCMA was also carried out under free radical conditions using 2,2-azobisisobutyronitrile as an initiator.The monomer and polymers were characterized by FT-IR and 1H and 13C-NMR techniques. The glass transition temperatures, the solubility parameters and average-molecular weights of the polymers were determined. Thermal stabilities of the polymers were given as compared with each other by using TGA curves. Thermal degradation products of poly(PCMA)s obtained by ATRP and free radical polymerization were compared with each other by using 1H-NMR technique.  相似文献

Methylquinoxaline derivative 1 undergoes bromination to give bromomethyl quinoxaline 2 , which could be transferred to cyanomethyl quinoxaline 3 . The latter compound 3 readily coupled with arene diazonium salts to give hydrazone derivatives 5a‐c . Compounds 5a,b reacted with active methylene reagents to give the target ring system, quinoxalinylpyridazine derivatives 8a‐c . Compound 1 reacted with DMFDMA to give the enamine derivative 9 , which coupled with arene diazonium salts to give the aldehydic hydrazone derivatives 10a‐c . Compound 10 reacted with active methylene compounds to give quinoxalinylpyridazine derivatives. UV characterization of some of the prepared compounds was reported.  相似文献

Gas-phase infrared spectra of polyphosphazenes (phosphonitrilic halides trimer), (NPX2)3 where X=F, Cl and Br have been recorded. The molecules were generated for the first time by an on-line process using solid (NPCl2)3 as a precursor passed over heated sodium fluoride and potassium bromide at about 550 and 700 degrees C for (NPF2)3 and (NPBr2)3 production, respectively. The products were characterized by the infrared spectra of their vapors. The low-resolution gas-phase Fourier transform infrared spectra reported for the first time show strong bands centered at 1295, 1215 and 1200 cm-1, assigned to nu7(E'), in plane PN stretching mode of (NPX2)3, where X=F, Cl and Br, respectively.  相似文献

Summary Omega Chrome Fast Blue 2G has been found to be a suitable indicator for the detection of the equivalence point of calcium, magnesium and manganese in the presence of cadmium, nickel, and aluminium, when they are masked by the addition of cyanide or triethanolamine. It is also a suitable indicator for the back titration of aluminium using calcium or magnesium as a back titrant.This dye has also been found to be a suitable reagent for the colorimetric determination of calcium, magnesium, manganese and thorium.  相似文献

As a part of a research program on the treatment of radioactive process waste waters, sorbent macroflotation was tested to remove Co(II) from dilute aqueous solutions. Activated charcoal was used as the sorbent, and gelatin, cetylpyridinium chloride, dodecylamine or N-dodecylpyridinium chloride (NDPC) as the collector. In addition to the effect of the collector type on the percent removal, the effects of the pH, the charcoal and collector doses, the metal ion concentration, the ionic strength and the use of combinations of NDPC with other reagents have been investigated. At the optimum conditions removals better then 97% could be achieved in the pH range of 7.5–10.0 with NDPC plus a low concentration of a low-molecular-weight polyacrylamide. The results obtained are discussed in terms of hydrolysis of the metal ion and the electric state of both the charcoal and collector.  相似文献

A series of new platinum(II) and platinum(IV) complexes of the type [PtII(HMI)2X] (where HMI=hexamethyleneimine, X=dichloro, sulfato, 1,1-cyclobutanedicarboxylato [CBDCA], oxalato, methylmalonato, or tatronato) and [PtIV(HMI)2Y2Cl2] (where Y=hydroxo, acetato, or chloro) were synthesized and characterized by infrared (IR) spectroscopy, 13C and 195Pt nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Among the complexes synthesized, [PtII(hexamethyleneimine)2(1,1-cyclobutanedicarboxylato)]·H2O was examined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The slightly distorted square planar coordination environment of the platinum metal includes the amino group of the hexamethyleneimine (HMI) molecule and the oxygen atoms of the carboxylato ligand. The cyclobutanedicarboxylic acid (CBDCA) molecule adopts six-member chelating rings with platinum. Hydrogen bonding plays an important part in holding the crystal lattice together.  相似文献

Summary The formation constants of 1-phenyl-3-thiazole-2-ylthiourea complexes with some bivalent metal ions (CuII, NiII, ZnII and MnII) have been determined in 75% EtOH–H2O. Complexes of CuII, NiII, ZnII, HgII and PdII have been isolated and characterized by conductance, i.r., electronic spectra and magnetic measurements. The ligand forms ML complexes with CuII and HgII and ML2 with NiII, ZnII and PdII, where L is the uninegatively charged bidentate ligand and binds through the ring nitrogen and thiocarbonyl sulphur atoms.  相似文献
