We report the first search for supersymmetric particles via s-channel production and decay of smuons or muon sneutrinos at hadronic colliders. The data for the two-muon and two-jets final states were collected by the D0 experiment and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 94+/-5 pb(-1). Assuming that R parity is violated via the single coupling lambda'211, the number of candidate events is in agreement with expectation from the standard model. Exclusion contours are given in the (m(0),m(1/2)) and (m(x),m(v)) planes for lambda(')(211)=0.09, 0.08, and 0.07. 相似文献

Contrary to integer-order derivative, the fractional-order derivative of a non-constant periodic function is not a periodic function with the same period. As a consequence of this property, the time-invariant fractional-order systems do not have any non-constant periodic solution unless the lower terminal of the derivative is ±∞, which is not practical. This property limits the applicability of the fractional derivative and makes it unfavorable, for a wide range of periodic real phenomena. Therefore, enlarging the applicability of fractional systems to such periodic real phenomena is an important research topic. In this paper, we give a solution for the above problem by imposing a simple modification on the Grünwald–Letnikov definition of fractional derivative. This modification consists of fixing the memory length and varying the lower terminal of the derivative. It is shown that the new proposed definition of fractional derivative preserves the periodicity. 相似文献

In this paper, a chaotic fractional-order modified hybrid optical system is presented. Some basic dynamical properties are further investigated by means of Poincaré mapping, parameter phase portraits, and the largest Lyapunov exponents. Fractional Hopf bifurcation conditions are proposed; it is found that Hopf bifurcation occurs on the proposed system when the fractional-order varies and passes a sequence of critical values. The chaotic motion is validated by the positive Lyapunov exponent. Finally, some numerical simulations are also carried out to illustrate our results. 相似文献

In this outline of a program, based on rigorous renormalization group theory, we introduce new definitions which allow one to formulate precise mathematical conjectures related to conformal invariance as studied by physicists in the area known as higher-dimensional conformal bootstrap which has developed at a breathtaking pace over the last few years. We also explore a second theme, intimately tied to conformal invariance for random distributions, which can be construed as a search for very general first and second-quantized Kolmogorov-Chentsov Theorems. First-quantized refers to regularity of sample paths. Second-quantized refers to regularity of generalized functionals or Hida distributions and relates to the operator product expansion.We formulate this program in both the Archimedean and p-adic situations. Indeed, the study of conformal field theory and its connections with probability provides a golden opportunity where p-adic analysis can lead the way towards a better understanding of open problems in the Archimedean setting. Finally, we present a summary of progress made on a p-adic hierarchical model and point out possible connections to number theory. We provide a unified treatment, based on cluster expansion techniques, of four different regimes: large mass, small interaction
between sites, large self-interaction, as well as the more delicate small self-interaction or near massive Gaussian regime.
A clustering estimate in the latter regime is needed for the Bosonic case of the recent result obtained by Lukkarinen and

Electron paramagnetic resonance is detected optically via the change of magnetic circular dichroism under microwaves at 35 v GHz. The technique is applied to Bi 12 GeO 20 samples co-doped with vanadium and a second transition metal (Cr, Mn, Co, Cu). The optical and magnetic properties of several paramagnetic defects (V Ge 4+ and Cr Ge 4+ ) are directly correlated. The basic photochromic processes occuring in samples doped with V, Mn, and Mn+V are explained. The V Ge 4+/5+ level is positioned roughly 2.2 v eV above the valence band. 相似文献

The behaviour of new cationic amphiphilic copolymers derived from 3-vinylpyridine was studied in aqueous medium. The formation of hydrophobic microdomains was evidenced by fluorescence spectroscopy using a molecular rotor as a fluorescent probe and their structure was visualized by cryo-transmission electron microcospy (Cryo-TEM). The parameters (shape and size) obtained from Cryo-TEM were discussed in relation to the copolymers composition and to the local viscosity defined by the rotor fluorescence quantum yield. 相似文献
