In this paper we study the stabilization of plate vibrations by means of piezoelectric actuators. In this situation the geometric
control condition of Bardos, Lebeau and Rauch [6] is not satisfied. We prove that we have exponential stability for the low
frequencies but not for the high frequencies. We give an explicit decay rate for regular initial data at high frequencies
while clarifying the behavior of the constant which intervenes in this estimation there function of the frequency of cut n. The method used is based on some trace regularity which reduces stability to some observability inequalities for the corresponding
undamped problem. Moreover, we show numerically at low frequencies, that the optimal location of the actuator is the center
of the domain Ω.

The electrical conduction mechanisms of semicrystalline thermoplastic parylene C (-H(2)C-C(6)H(3)Cl-CH(2)-)(n) thin films were studied in large temperature and frequency regions. The alternative current (AC) electrical conduction in parylene C is governed by two processes which can be ascribed to a hopping transport mechanism: correlated barrier hopping (CBH) model at low [77-155 K] and high [473-533 K] temperature and the small polaron tunneling mechanism (SPTM) from 193 to 413 K within the framework of the universal law of dielectric response. The conduction mechanism is explained with the help of Elliot's theory, and the Elliot's parameters are determined. From frequency- and temperature-conductivity characteristics, the activation energy is found to be 1.27 eV for direct current (DC) conduction interpreted in terms of ionic conduction mechanism. The power law dependence of AC conductivity is interpreted in terms of electron hopping with a density N(E(F)) (~10(18) eV cm(-3)) over a 0.023-0.03 eV high barrier across a distance of 1.46-1.54 ?. 相似文献

In the present study, an experiment was carried out on the postharvest of cucumber fruit during a 14-day shelf life. The aim was to assess the impact of calcium nanoparticles (CaNPs) blended with different concentrations of salicylic acid (SA) on the shelf life of cucumbers during the seasons of 2018 and 2019. The investigation further monitored the influences of CaNPs-SA on some physical properties of cucumber, including the percentage weight loss, color, and fruit firmness. In addition, chemical properties, such as total soluble solids (SSC%), total acidity (TA%), total soluble sugars, and chlorophyll pigmentation of the fruit skin, were assessed during a 14-day shelf lifeCell wall degradation enzymes (CWEAs) such as polygalacturonase (PG), cel-lulase (CEL), xylanase (XYL), and pectinase (PT) were also researched. In addition, the generation rates of H2O2 and O2•− were calculated, as well as the reduction of DPPH. The lipid peroxidation (malondialdehyde, MDA) and cell membrane permeability (IL%) of cell wall composites were also determined. CaNPs-SA at 2 mM suppressed CWEAs, preserved fruit quality, reduced weight loss throughout the shelf-life period, and reduced the percent leakage value. At this concentration, we also found the lowest levels of MDA and the highest levels of DPPH. 相似文献

Snake venom contains a number of active molecules that have been shown to possess high anti-tumor activities; disintegrins are an excellent example among these. Their ability to interact and bind with integrins suggests that they could be very valuable molecules for the development of new cancer therapeutic approaches. However, in the absence of a clear Lysine-Threonine-Serine (KTS) Disintegrins Integrin interaction model, the exact compound features behind it are still unknown. In this study, we investigated the structural characteristics of three KTS-disintegrins and the interaction mechanisms with the α1β1 integrin receptor using in silico bioinformatics approaches. Normal mode analysis showed that the flexibility of the KTSR motif and the C-terminal region play a key role and influence the KTS-Disintegrin-integrin interaction. Protein-protein docking also suggested that the interaction involving the KTSR motif is highly dependent on the residue following K21, S23 and R24. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the KTS-Disintegrin-Integrin structural differences and their interactions with α1β1 receptors, which could improve the selection process of the best active molecules for antitumor therapies. 相似文献
