The magneto-transport properties of thick relaxed A-site deficient films
having the composition Pr
Sr0.3MnO3 (P□SMO
with the □ symbol for the Pr vacancy) and Pr0.7Sr
MnO3 (PS□MO) are studied. A
direct comparison with a Pr0.7Sr0.3MnO3 (PSMO)completely relaxed film, deposited under the same growth conditions, shows
a reduction of the in-plane parameter a100 associated to an enhancement
of the out-plane parameter. The strains (bulk strain εB
and biaxial Jahn-Teller strain εJ-T) do vary with the
nature of the cationic vacancy. For example, an enhancement of εB of 9% in the PS□MO film (Sr deficient) produces a decrease
of TC of 30 K, whereas the Pr deficient P□SMO film exhibits a
large reduction of both εB (-16%) and εJ-T (divided by a factor of 5), which enhances TC of 12 K, similarly to previous observations on bulk ceramics. With a reduced
resistivity (ρ<0.02 Ω cm), the obtained Pr-deficient film,
P□SMO, exhibits the best magneto-transport properties with a decreasing
magnetoresistance sensitivity at low field. 相似文献

New Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), and Mn(II) complexes of the gabapentin (Gpn) bidentate drug ligand were synthesized and studied using elemental analyses, melting temperatures, molar conductivity, UV–Vis, magnetic measurements, FTIR, and surface morphology (scanning (SEM) and transmission (TEM) electron microscopes).The gabapentin ligand was shown to form monobasic metal:ligand (1:1) stoichiometry complexes with the metal ions Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), and Mn(II). Molar conductance measurements in dimethyl-sulfoxide solvent with a concentration of 10−3 M correlated to a non-electrolytic character for all of the produced complexes. A deformed octahedral environment was proposed for all metal complexes. Through the nitrogen atom of the –NH2 group and the oxygen atom of the carboxylate group, the Gpn drug chelated as a bidentate ligand toward the Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, and Cu2+ metal ions. This coordination behavior was validated by spectroscopic, magnetic, and electronic spectra using the formulas of the [M(Gpn)(H2O)3(Cl)]·nH2O complexes (where n = 2–6).Transmission electron microscopy was used to examine the nanostructure of the produced gabapentin complexes. Molecular docking was utilized to investigate the comparative interaction between the Gpn drug and its four metal [Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), and Mn(II)] complexes as ligands using serotonin (6BQH) and dopamine (6CM4) receptors. AutoDock Vina results were further refined through molecular dynamics simulation, and molecular processes for receptor–ligand interactions were also studied. The B3LYP level of theory and LanL2DZ basis set was used for DFT (density functional theory) studies. The optimized geometries, along with the MEP map and HOMO → LUMO of the metal complexes, were studied. 相似文献

Gamma-radiation grafting of vinyl ether of monoethanolamine and vinyl ether of ethyleneglycol (VEEG) on polyethylene films has been studied from binary monomer mixtures. The effect of co-monomer composition and total exposure radiation dose on the grafting process is investigated. A combination of potentiometric and gravimetric techniques is applied to determine the grafting degree of each monomer in the final graft copolymer. The presence of more active monomer VEEG in the mixture was found to enhance the grafting of both monomers because the increasing of copolymerization rate which in turn increases the total grafting degree. The modification of the hydrophilic properties of the graft copolymer is studied by examining the grafted films for water- and copper (II) ions uptake. 相似文献

ABSTRACTThis study reports the removal of organic matters from phosphoric acid using waste-produced bio-charcoal structures. Particularly, the freshly made bio-char species via pyrolysis and two sub-driven acids activated charcoals were applied during the removal process. The treated charcoal with hydrochloric and nitric acids had attained a higher adsorption rate for organic matters than that of the non-treated one. Removal percentages of 70% and 60% were, respectively, attained by acid-modified chars. The kinetics of the adsorption process was fitted via pseudo-first/second-order and Morris–Weber models. The thermodynamic parameters of the presented sorption process indicate that organic matter removal has been endothermic, physical and spontaneous. 相似文献

Azidation of aminothiophene derivative 1 afforded the corresponding azido derivative 2.The latter reacted with triphenylphosphine to afford iminophosphorane derivatives 3.Reacting 3 with phenylisocyanate gave the highly reactive carbodiimide intermediate 4,which was reacted with different nitrones to afford new l,2,4-oxadiazolidin-5-ylidene-aminothiophenes 5a-c. New series of 1H-perimidine-2-thiol derivatives and (2-substituted-1H-perimidin-1-yl)ethane-1,2-dione derivatives and their ligands (C24H14N4S2O2) H2L1 and (C26H18N4S2O2) H2L2 have been synthesized with transition metal ions, e.g., Copper (II), Silver (I), Cobalt (II) and Ruthenium (III) were prepared and evaluated for their antimicrobial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities. The synthesized compounds and their complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, IR, MS, molar conductance, thermal gravimetric analysis and electronic spectra. All results revealed that compounds 3 and 13 exhibited high inhibitory effects against some bacterial strains by the disc diffusion method.
