The present work succeeded to develop new optional procedures to enhance the separation process of thorium and REEs. Selective precipitation of thorium with pyrophosphate was successfully attained for the upscale level in which, complete and efficient thorium separation (99%) was achieved with relatively low co-precipitation of REEs (average 15%) and Fe(III) (2.6%). On the other hand, promising and costless method has been developed to optimize the selective precipitation of REEs by adjusting the ratio of the free acids H2SO4 to H3PO4 at 5:1. It could be obviously demonstrated that about 65.3% of LREEs could be precipitated with a minor amount of thorium 11.9%. Finally, this proposed method could be successfully applied for production of Th and REEs with relatively high yield and purity in addition to low-cost–benefit. 相似文献

In this work the applicability of four of the most commonly used viscosity mixing rules to [ionic liquid (IL)+molecular solvent (MS)] systems is assessed. More than one hundred (IL+MS) binary mixtures were selected from the literature to test the viscosity mixing rules proposed by 1) Hind (Hi), 2) Grunberg and Nissan (G–N), 3) Herric (He) and 4) Katti and Chaudhri (K–C). The analyses were performed by estimating the average (absolute or relative) deviations, AADs and ARDs, between the available experimental data and the predicted ideal mixture viscosity values obtained by means of each rule. The influence of 8 MeV electrons on the crystalline structure of HgTe and Hg1-xCdxTe thin films was studied. HgTe and Hg1-xCdxTe layers were obtained by thermal evaporation and condensation in vacuum on optically flat silica glass substrates heated at different temperatures. One finds that the results of irradiation of HgTe and Hg1-xCdxTe thin films with 8 MeV electrons depend on the preparation conditions of the samples, and therefore on the level of perfection of the crystalline structure and the quantity of nonstoichiometric atoms. 相似文献

This study was conducted to characterize the residual level and perform a risk assessment on buprofezin formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate, wettable powder, and suspension concentrate over various treatment schedules in plum (Prunus domestica). The samples were extracted with an AOAC quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe, ‘QuEChERS’, method after major modifications. As intrinsic interferences were observed in blank plum samples following dispersive‐solid phase extraction (consisting of primary secondary amine and C18 sorbents), amino cartridges were used for solid‐phase extraction. Analysis was carried out using liquid chromatography with diode array detection and confirmed by liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry. The method showed excellent linearity with determination coefficient (R2 = 1) and satisfactory recoveries (at two spiking levels, 0.5 and 2.5 mg/kg) between 90.98 and 94.74% with relative standard deviation (RSD) ≤8%. The limit of quantification (0.05 mg/kg) was considerably lower than the maximum residue limit (2 mg/kg) set by the Codex Alimentarius. Absolute residue levels for emulsifiable concentrates were highest, perhaps owing to the dilution rate and adjuvant. Notably, all formulation residues were lower than the maximum residue limit, and safety data proved that the fruits are safe for consumers. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

This study sheds light on the removal of humic acid by-products (trimellitic and pyromellitic acids; TMA and PMA, respectively) from aqueous solution using conducting polypyrrole (PPy) as an effective adsorbent. The effects of experimental factors including contact time, solution pH, initial concentration, adsorbent dose, and temperature were systematically investigated. The pseudo-second-order kinetic model provides the best correlation with adsorption experimental data. The equilibrium adsorption was well described by the Langmuir model with maximum mono-layer adsorption capacities of 47.62 and 71.43?mg?g?1 for TMA and PMA, respectively. The analysis of thermodynamic parameters indicated that the adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic in nature. In addition, we investigated the adsorption mechanism using the density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The TMA and PMA were physisorbed on the PPy surface through the formation of hydrogen bonds between carboxylic groups of adsorbate molecules and the amino group of the adsorbent.
