Surface and bulk properties of 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride [C6mim][Cl] as an ionic liquid (IL) have been investigated by surface tension and electrical conductivity techniques at various temperatures. Results reveal that the ionic liquid behaves as surfactant-like and aggregates in aqueous solution. Critical aggregation concentration (cac) values obtained by conductivity and surface tension measurements are in good agreement with values found in the literature. A series of important and useful adsorption parameters including cac, surface excess concentration (Γ), and minimum surface area per molecule (Amin) at the air + water interface were estimated from surface tension in the presence and absence of different electrolytes. Obtained data show that the surface tension as well as the cac of [C6mim][Cl] is reduced by electrolytes. Also, values of surface excess concentration (Γ) show that the IL ions in the presence of electrolyte have much larger affinity to adsorption at the surface and this affinity increased in aqueous electrolyte solution in the order of I? > Br? > Cl? for counter ion of salts that was explained in terms of a larger repulsion of chloride anions from interface to the bromide and iodide anion as well as difference in their excess polarizability.  相似文献

A novel, sensitive and selective adsorptive stripping procedure for determination of aluminum is presented. The method is based on the adsorptive accumulation of dithiooxamide (Rubeanic acid) complex of aluminum onto a hanging mercury drop electrode, followed by reduction of adsorbed species by voltammetric scan using differential pulse modulation. The influences of control variables on the sensitivity of the proposed method for the determination of aluminum were studied. The optimum analytical conditions were found to be Rubeanic acid (RA) concentration of 8.0×10?5 M, ammonia buffer (NH3? NH4Cl) pH of 6.5, and accumulation potential at ?50 mV vs. Ag/AgCl with an accumulation time of 60 s. The peak currents are proportional to the concentration of aluminum over the 0.3–70 ng mL?1 ranges with detection limit of 0.012 ng mL?1. The procedure was applied to the determination of aluminum in the Lab. Water, HCl of Merck and potato samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Positive electrode with uniform lead dioxide nanostructures directly synthesized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) method on the lead substrate in 1 M sulfuric acid solution including different concentration of barium sulfate. The effect of potential scan rate, sulfuric acid and barium sulfate concentration were studied on the morphology and particle size of lead dioxide using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction techniques (XRD). The effect of barium sulfate was studied on the CV parameters including anodic peak current (I pa), cathodic peak current (I pc), anodic peak potential (E pa) and cathodic peak potential (E pc) during synthesis process. Finally, the effect of barium sulfate on the discharge capacity and cycle life of nanostructured positive electrodes and commercial positive plates was investigated. Both CV and battery test results showed that barium sulfate with concentration of 1 × 10−5 M can be used as suitable additive for positive paste of lead-acid batteries.  相似文献

A novel coated wire electrode (CWE) for Al(III) ions is described based on 2-(1H-benzo[d]imidazole-1-yl)-1-phenylethanoneoxime as a new ionophore in carbon-PVC composite. The sensor exhibits significantly enhanced selectivity toward Al3+ ions over the concentration range 4.3 × 10−7 to 5.0 × 10−2 M with a lower detection limit of 2.5 × 10−7 M and a Nernstian slope of 19.41 ± 0.52 mV decade−1 of aluminium activity. This sensor has a short response time of about 10 s and is reproducible and stable for at least forty-five days. This proposed CWE which is designed for the first time revealed good selectivity for Al(III) over a wide variety of other cations. The performance of the sensor is best in the pH range of 3.1-5.5 and it also works well in partially non-aqueous medium. Moreover, the assembly has been successfully used as an indicator electrode in the potentiometric titration of aluminium (III) against EDTA and also in determining Al(III) quantitatively in pharmaceutical and mineral water samples.  相似文献

From the chloroform extract of the aerial parts of Salvia xanthocheila, one new triterpene, together with two known diterpenes, two known flavonoids and a phytosterol was isolated. On the basis of comprehensive spectroscopic analyses, including electron ionisation mass spectra, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, 1-D nuclear Overhauser effect, distortionless enchancement by polarisation transfer, H,H correlation spectroscopy, heteronuclear multiple quantum coherence, rotating frame Overhauser enhancement spectroscopy spectra and comparison with spectral data of known compounds, the structure of new compounds was established as 1β,3β-dihydroxy-olean-9(11),12-dienyl (1). The five known compounds (2-6) were 7α-acetoxyroyleanone, taxodione, salvigenin, apigenin-7,4'-dimethyl ether and β-sitosterol, respectively. These known structures are isolated from the aerial parts of S. xanthocheila for the first time.  相似文献

In recent years, greater attention has been given to the application of mesoporous materials to the immobilization of enzymes. In this study, the immobilization of superoxide dismutase (SOD) onto the amine-functionalized cubic Ia3d mesoporous silica nanoparticles ([n-PrNH2-KIT-6]) with an average pore diameter of around 6.5?nm was investigated. This organo-functionalized mesoporous silica was prepared using a non-ionic surfactant and was fully characterized by SEM, XRD, nitrogen adsorption?Cdesorption isotherm and FT-IR spectroscopy. UV?Cvisible spectroscopy studies demonstrated that the immobilized SOD was less prone to thermally induced aggregation than the free moiety. Further investigations using far-circular dichroism measurement intensity indicated that the structure of SOD before and after immobilization onto the [n-PrNH2-KIT-6] nanoparticles was almost identical and the immobilized enzyme was more stable against GdHCl denaturation relative to the free one.  相似文献

A methanolic extract from aerial parts of Polygonum hyrcanicum (Polygonaceae) showed high activity against Trypanosoma brucei rhodesiense (IC50 = 3.7 microg/mL). Bioassay-guided fractionation of the extract resulted in isolation of cinnamoylphenethyl amides, including N-trans-caffeoyltyramine (1), N-trans-p-coumaroyltyramine (7), and N-trans-feruloyltyramine (8) as the main active constituents (IC50s ranging from 2.2 to 13.3 microM). Some structurally related, but less active compounds, such as cannabisin B (2), tyrosol (3), p-coumaric acid (4), ferulic acid (5), and N-cis-feruloyltyramine (6) were also identified, along with N-trans-3,4-dimethoxycinnamoyldopamine (9). Cytotoxicity of the active compounds in L6 cells was determined, and selectivity indices (SI) of 7.9 to 33.4 were calculated.  相似文献

The hybridizations of a graphene layer by a thymine and a uracil nucleobase have been investigated by performing density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The isolated and hybrid structures have been firstly stabilized to reach the minimum energy and the electronic properties have been subsequently evaluated for the optimized structures. The structural and atomic scale parameters indicated that the tip of graphene is important in determining the properties of new hybrids. Moreover, different effects of thymine and uracil nucleobases have been identified in the hybrid structures. Quadrupole coupling constants have been evaluated to characterize the atomic scale properties, in which the most notable effects of hybridizations have been observed for the atoms close to the linking regions whereas negligible effects have been seen for other atoms.  相似文献
