A series of alkyl triazole glycoside surfactants, ATGs, differing in the length of the alkyl linker between the sugar and the triazole, was synthesized and investigated on their surfactant properties and phase behavior in water. The results indicate no significant impact of the linker on surface and interphase properties, whereas the phase behavior is affected. Higher affinity for the bicontinuous cubic phase potentially favors methylene-linked ATGs over higher homologs for drug-delivery applications. A comparison of glucose and xylose reveals a tendency for high Krafft points for propargyl xyloside based ATGs. This disfavors these surfactants with respect to both glucose analogs and higher homologs.  相似文献

Utilisation of Anagrus nilaparvatae is a promising and effective method for planthoppers manipulation. Twenty-seven components of remote lemongrass (Cymbopogon distans) oil were identified by GC/MS and nine volatiles were selected for behavioural experiments. In this study, we noted that the remote lemongrass oil was attractive to female A. nilaparvatae at concentrations of 0.1 and 1 mg/L. α-Pinene, β-pinene, eucalyptol, carveol and D-carvone attracted female wasps in the dose-dependent bioassays. Blend 1 (a mixture of eucalyptol, D-carvone, carveol, α-pinene, and β-pinene with ratios of remote lemongrass oil volatiles of 625:80:11:5:3) attracted female wasps at 10 mg/L, while blend 2 (a mixture of the same five volatiles at the same loading ratio) attracted them at 0.1 and 1 mg/L. These results suggested that plant essential oils could be attractants for natural enemies to control pests. The ratios of volatiles in the mixtures affect the attractiveness of the synthetic mixtures.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a novel all-optical 2R (re-amplification and re-shaping) regenerator based on inducing nonlinear chirp over a continuous wave probe. The regenerator also performs continuous wave to pulsed wavelength conversion. The chirp is induced in a highly nonlinear fiber by the data modulated pulsed signal that is to be regenerated. Offset filtering is employed at the output of the highly nonlinear fiber to extract the frequencies generated as a result of chirping. The regenerator performance has been evaluated with the help of bit-error-rate plots and eye diagrams at different values of optical signal to noise ratios. Apart from re-shaping and re-amplification, inclusion of the regenerator results in better resilience to amplified spontaneous emission noise.  相似文献

This work aimed the evaluation of pH influence in the obtainment of composites from palygorskite (PAL) and chitosan (CS). The materials PAL/CS-1 and PAL/CS-2 were obtained by similar methodology with modified pHs: 5.0 ± 0.5 and 11.0 ± 0.5, respectively. Both materials were evaluated for specific surface area analysis, elemental analysis, XRD, FTIR, thermal analysis, MEV and interaction drug composite, using 5-aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA) as model. The surface area analysis data showed the reduction in PAL/CS-2 related to CS presence on surface in contrast with PAL/CS-1, which corroborate with elemental analysis present nine times more of CS in PAL/CS-2 composition. Regarding to XRD data, the interaction of CS with PAL did not cause modification in clay structure in PAL/CS-2. These results were confirmed by FTIR data with the N–H deformation vibration in PAL/CS-2 while PAL/CS-1 was invariable to PAL. In thermal analysis, results were observed 60.2% residual mass to PAL/CS-2, which it was lower than PAL (87.2%) and PAL/CS-1 (86.7%), due to CS decomposition which had enthalpy energy of 62.1 J g?1 K?1, confirming the data previously cited. PAL/CS-2 presented 5-ASA adsorption of 7.9 mg g?1, which was inferior to others probably caused by scarcity of active sites of PAL already occupied by CS. These results showed that pH control was fundamental to enhance efficiency of obtainment of composite in basic pH because the decrease in CS protonation degree increasing interaction between this one and PAL, although it contributed to decrease in 5-ASA adsorption due to low availability of interaction sites.  相似文献

A cellulose based magnetic nanocomposite possessing NHC-Cu Complex has been synthesized and characterized. It was then applied as a highly active catalyst in one-pot three-component reaction of sulfonyl azides, secondary amines and triethylamine to afford N-sulfonylformamidines. Copper catalyzed oxidative transformation of C-N bond of triethylamine is a key step to give desired products. In contrast with the good reactivity of the conventional secondary amines, aromatic amines and NH containing heteroaromatics had no activity in these reactions. Moreover, the used nanocatalyst which could be recovered by external magnet, showed reasonable catalytic activity for several times.  相似文献

Methanol in insulating oil has been proposed as a new marker for condition assessment of the solid insulation system of power transformers. In the current work, as a first step of using the new marker, an analytical static headspace gas chromatography/mass spectrometry method has been developed, optimized, and validated to measure methanol and ethanol contents in the insulating mineral oil. The analyzing setup consists of a 6890 N gas chromatograph equipped with a 5973 network mass spectrometer (MS) in the absence of a costly headspace autosampler, and the chromatography separation was performed on a 60 m × 320 µm × 0.5 µm VF-WAXms GC column. Calibration curves have been provided using several concentrations of the alcohols, and also limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ), and relative standard deviation percentage (RSD%) have been determined.  相似文献

This paper describes a new support that permits to efficient immobilization of L-asparaginase (L-ASNase). For this purpose, Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized and coated by MCM-41. 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane (CPTMS) was used as a surface modifying agent for covalent immobilization of L-ASNase on the magnetic nanoparticles. The chemical structure; thermal, morphological, and magnetic properties; chemical composition; and zeta potential value of Fe3O4@MCM-41-Cl were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential thermal analysis (DTA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD), and zeta-potential measurement. The immobilization efficiency onto Fe3O4@MCM-41-Cl was detected as 63%. The reusability, storage, pH, and thermal stabilities of the immobilized L-ASNase were investigated and compared to that of soluble one. The immobilized enzyme maintained 42.2% of its original activity after 18 cycles of reuse. Furthermore, it was more stable towards pH and temperature compared with soluble enzyme. The Michaelis–Menten kinetic properties of immobilized L-ASNase showed a lower Vmax and a similar Km compared to soluble L-ASNase. Immobilized enzyme had around 47 and 32.5% residual activity upon storage a period of 28 days at 4 and 25 °C, respectively. In conclusion, the Fe3O4@MCM-41-Cl@L-ASNase core–shell nanoparticles could successfully be used in industrial and medical applications.

A new Schiff base ligand named (E)‐2‐(((3‐aminophenyl)imino)methyl)phenol (HL) was prepared through condensation reaction of m‐phenylenediamine and 2‐hydroxybenzaldehyde in 1:1 molar ratio. The new ligand was characterized by elemental analysis and spectral techniques. The coordination behavior of a series of transition metal ions named Cr (III), Mn (II), Fe (III), Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II), Zn (II) and Cd (II) with the newly prepared Schiff base ligand (HL) is reported. The nature of bonding and the stereochemistry of the complexes have been deduced from elemental analyses, IR, UV–Vis, 1H NMR, mass, electronic spectra, magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements and further their thermal stability was confirmed by thermogravimetric analysis (TG). From IR spectra, it was observed that the ligand is a neutral tridentate ligand coordinates to the metal ions through protonated phenolic oxygen, azomethine nitrogen and nitrogen atom of NH2 group. The existence, the number and the position of the water molecules was studied by thermal analysis. The molecular structures of the Schiff base ligand (HL) and its metal complexes were optimized theoretically and the quantum chemical parameters were calculated. The synthesized ligand and its complexes were screened for antimicrobial activities against bacterial species (Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillis subtilis, (gram positive bacteria)), (Salmonella SP., Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, (gram negative bacteria)) and fungi (Aspergillus fumigatus and Candida albicans). The complexes were found to possess high biological activities against different organisms. Molecular docking was used to predict the efficiency of binding between Schiff base ligand (HL) and both receptors of Escherichia coli (3 T88) and Staphylococcus aureus (3Q8U). The receptor of Escherichia coli (3 T88) showed best interaction with Schiff base ligand (HL) compared to receptor of Staphylococcus aureu (3Q8U).  相似文献
