Olefin metathesis promoted by a well-defined metal carbene complex has evolved into an efficient method for the construction of a broad range of carbocyclic and heterocyclic rings of varying size. The synthetic potential of the olefin metathesis has been further increased by combining various other C-C bond forming processes either in tandem or in sequence. Herein, application of Claisen rearrangement and olefin metathesis to prepare various intricate and/or biologically important targets has been described.  相似文献

The present article reports the spectroscopic investigations on non-covalent interaction of fullerenes C(60) and C(70) with a macrocyclic receptor molecule, namely, 1,3,5,7-tetrahomo-p-tert-butylcalix[8]arene (1) in toluene. Jobs method of continuous variation reveals 1:1 stoichiometry for the fullerene complexes of 1. The most fascinating feature of the present study is that 1 binds selectively C(60) compared to C(70) as obtained from binding constant (K) data of C(60)-1 (K(C60-1)) and C(70)-1 (K(C70-1)) complexes which are enumerated to be 265,000 dm(3) mol(-1) and 63,43 dm(3) mol(-1), respectively, and selectivity in binding (K(C60-1)/K(C70-1)) is estimated to be 4.18 as obtained from UV-Vis study. Steady state fluorescence studies reveal quenching of fluorescence of 1 in presence of fullerenes and the K value of the C(60)-1 and C(70)-1 complexes are estimated to be 80,760 and 68,780 dm(3) mol(-1), respectively, with selectivity in binding (K(C60-1)/K(C70-1)) ~1.18. (1)H NMR analysis provides very good support in favor of strong binding between C(60) and 1. The high value of K value for C(60)-1 complex indicates that 1 forms an inclusion complex with C(60).  相似文献

The M-[TCNE] (M = 3d metal; TCNE = tetracyanoethylene) system is one of the most interesting classes of molecule-based magnets, exhibiting a plethora of compositions and structures (inorganic polymer chains, 2D layers, 3D networks, and amorphous solids) with a wide range of magnetic ordering temperatures (up to 400 K). A systematic study of vibrational (both infrared and, for the first time, Raman) properties of the family of new TCNE-based magnets of M(II)(TCNE) (NCMe)(2)[SbF(6)] [M = Mn, Fe, Ni] composition is discussed in conjunction with their magnetic behavior and newly reso-lved crystal structures. The vibrational properties of the isolated TCNE(●-) anion in the paramagnetic Bu(4)N [TCNE(●-)] salt and recently characterized 2D layered magnet Fe(II)(TCNE)(NCMe)(2)[FeCl(4)] are also reported for comparison. Additionally, a linear correlation between ν(C=C) (a(g)) frequency of the TCNE ligand and its formal charge Z (the spin density on the π* orbital), Z = [1571 - ν(C=C) (a(g))]/154.5 [e], is presented. It is shown that monitoring Z by Raman spectroscopy is of great use in providing information that allows understanding the peculiarity of the superexchange interaction in M-[TCNE] magnets and establishing the structure-magnetic properties correlations in this class of magnetic material.  相似文献

Nickel thin films have been sputtered on standard Si/SiO2 substrates with TiO2 as an adhesive layer. The thermal stability of these substrates was analyzed. SEM images show an increase in grain size with annealing temperature. They were found to be stable till 800°C, beyond which the nickel layer disintegrated. These substrates were used for deposition of BaTiO3 and (Ba,Sr)TiO3 dielectric thin films under a reducing atmosphere. The dielectric thin films were processed with various pyrolysis and annealing temperatures in order to optimize the dielectric properties. Increased pyrolysis temperatures showed an increase in the grain size. Results on these nickelised substrates were finally compared with dielectric films deposited on platinized silicon substrates under identical conditions but crystallized in an oxygen atmosphere.  相似文献

Os(II) hydridocarbonyl complexes of coumarinyl azoimidazoles, [Osh(CO)(PPh3)2(CZ‐4R‐R′)]0/+ ( 3 , 4 ) (CZ‐R‐H = 2‐(coumarinyl‐6‐azo)‐4‐substituted imidazole or 1‐alkyl‐2‐(coumarinyl‐6‐azo)‐4‐substituted imidazole), were characterized from spectroscopic data and the single‐crystal X‐ray data for one of the complexes, [Osh(CO)(PPh3)2(CZ‐4‐Ph)] ( 3c ) (CZ‐4‐Ph = 2‐(coumarinyl‐6‐azo)‐4‐phenylimidazolate), confirmed the structure. The complexes show higher emission (quantum yield ? = 0.0163–0.16) and longer lifetime (τ = 1.4–10.3 ns) than free ligands (? = 0.0012–0.0185 and τ = 0.685–1.306 ns). Cyclic voltammetry shows quasi‐reversible metal oxidation at 0.67–0.94 V for [Os(III)/Os(II)] and 1.21–1.36 V for [Os(IV)/Os(III)] and subsequent azo reductions (?0.68 to ?0.95 V for [? N?N? ]/[? N N? ]? and irreversible < ?1.2 V for [? N N? ]?/[? N? N? ]2?) of the chelated coumarinyl azoimidazole. The complexes are photostable and show better photovoltaic power conversion efficiency than free ligands. Also, the complexes were used as catalysts for the oxidation of primary/secondary alcohols to aldehydes/ketones using oxidizing agents like N‐methylmorpholine N‐oxide, t‐BuOOH and H2O2. Density functional theory computation was carried out from the optimized structures and the data obtained were used to interpret the electronic and photovoltaic properties. Summary Reduction of the title compound (2) with diborane furnishes 1-trifluoroethyl-3-(2-(trifluoroethylamino)ethyl)-3-vinylindoline (4), 1-hydroxy-trifluoroethyl-3-(2-(trifluoroethylamino)ethyl)indole (5), and 1-methyl-2-trifluoroethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro--carboline (6). However, treatment of2 with lithium aluminum hydride, H2/Pd on charcoal, and sodium borohydride affords hydroxyspiroindolenine8, hydroxy-bis(trifluoroacetyl)enaminospiroindoline9, andN-ethyltryptamine7, respectively. The results are discussed and the mechanisms of the reactions leading to4–8 are presented.

Zusammenfassung Reduktion der Titelverbindung (2) mit Diboran ergibt 1-Trifluoroethyl-3-(2-(trifluoroethylamino)ethyl)-3-vinylindolin (4), 1-Hydroxy-trifluoroethyl-3-(2-(trifluoroethylamino)ethyl)indol (5) und 1-Methyl-2-trifluoroethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro--carbolin (6). Behandlung von2 mit Lithiumaluminiumhydrid, H2/Pd auf Aktivkohle und Natriumborhydrid führt jedoch zu Hydroxyspiroindolenin8, Hydroxy-bis(trifluoroacetyl)enaminospiroindolin9 und N-Ethyltryptamin (7). Die Ergebnisse werden diskutiert und die Mechanismen der zu den Produkten4–8 führenden Reaktionen werden vorgestellt.

Thin films of zirconium-substituted barium titanate were deposited by chemical solution deposition on platinum-coated silicon substrates at a temperature of 700 °C. The films showed a polycrystalline perovskite structure. The grain size was found to decrease with increase of Zr substitution. The effect of Zr substitution on the dielectric constant and the leakage was studied. It was found that with increasing Zr content the phase transition becomes diffuse and relaxor-like. The dielectric constant was also found to decrease with increasing amounts of Zr after an initial increase. The hysteresis loops became thinner and the remanent polarisation was found to decrease. The leakage behaviour was explained by Schottky theory. The barrier heights of the different films were calculated and found to vary between 1.12 eV and 1.19 eV.
