Difference of Directions Between External Driving Force and Movement Direction of Center of Mass

Driven dynamics of a two-dimensional Frenkel-Kontorova model is studied in the paper. In our numerical simulations, it is found that the movement direction of the center of mass is not consistent with that of the external driving force except for some special symmetric directions at the lower driving force. Our results also indicate that the movement direction of the center of mass strongly depends on both the magnitude and the direction of the external driving force as well as the misfit angle between two layers.     

Correlated Photon Pair Generation in Silicon Wire Waveguides at 1.5 μm

Correlated photon pairs at 1.5 μm are generated in a silicon wire waveguide （SWW） with a length of only 1.6 mm. Experimental results show that the single-side count rates on both sides increase quadratically with pump light, indicating that photons are generated from the spontaneous four-wave mixing （SFWM） processes. The quantum correlation property of the generated photons is demonstrated by the ratio between coincident and accidental coincident count rates. The highest ratio measured at room temperature is to be about 19, showing that generated photon pairs have strong quantum correlation property and low noise. What is more, the wavelength correlation property of the coincident count is also measured to demonstrate the correlated photon pair generation. The experimental results demonstrate that SWWs have great potential in on-chip integrated low-noise correlated photon pair sources at 1.5 μm.     

Time-Domain Measurement of Optical True-Time Delay in Two-Dimensional Photonic Crystal Waveguides

We report on the realization of optical true-time delay （TTD） by a two-dimensional photonic crystal waveguide （PCWG）. Design and fabrication of the PCWG are investigated. The spectral dependence of the group delay is measured by detecting the phase shifts of a 10 GHz modulating signal, and a maximum delay of 25±2.5 ps is obtained.     

方波激发下Er~(3+)上转换红光激发机理的研究

用方波电源驱动808 nm激光二极管(LD)激发Er3+掺杂的亚碲酸盐氟氧化物玻璃,测量4F9/2能级上转换发光的上升和衰减,根据上升的时间常数确定中间能级的寿命,从而确定4F9/2能级粒子数积累的过程。通过建立速率方程模型分析4F9/2能级的上升和衰减特性与中间能级的关系,确定808 nm LD激发下上转换红光的激发机理,同时提供了一种通过上转换发光,用光电倍增管测量红外能级寿命的方法。     

H-矩阵线性方程组的一类预条件并行多分裂SOR迭代法

基于并行多分裂算法的思想及SOR迭代格式, 本文提出一种求解H-矩阵线性方程组新的并行多分裂SOR迭代法, 新方法某种程度上避免了SOR迭代法中选取最优参数的困难. 同时, 选取Kohno等(1997)提出的预条件子$P=I+S_{\alpha}$对原始线性方程组进行预处理, 进而给出了一种实用的预条件并行多分裂SOR迭代法. 理论分析和数值实验均表明, 新算法是实用而有效的.     

最短路线问题的矩阵解法

给出了求最短路线问题的直接解法,利用矩阵的循环移位变换,构造集合的笛卡儿积,把所有可能的路线看成是始点集合与终点集合的笛卡儿积的子集.把距离定义为笛卡儿积上的函数,结合Matlab软件,列出由始点到终点的所有路线,并计算出对应的距离,进而求出最短路线和最短距离.所给程序可以作为模型推广应用到同类问题的求解中.

Stationary Fluid Dynamic Behaviour of V-Shaped Diffuser/Nozzle Elements for Valveless Micropump

A novel type of V-shaped （isosceles triangle cross-section） diffuser/nozzle element is proposed for use for valveless micropump. Stationary fluid dynamic behaviour of V-shaped diffuser/nozzle elements in a valveless micropump is investigated by experiment and simulation. Both the results agree well with each other when the Reynolds number is higher than 100 and the pressure loss coefficient ratio of micropump nearly always keeps a constant. For a single V-shaped diffuser, the general trends of variation of pressure loss coefficient with opening angle and Reynolds number are opposite in small and large angles. Compared with conical and flat-wall diffusers, V-shaped diffuser shows the smallest pressure loss when the Reynolds number is 200.
