The current state-of-the-art of passive sampling and/or extraction methods for long-term monitoring of pollutants in different environmental compartments is discussed in this review. Passive dosimeters that have been successfully used to monitor organic and inorganic contaminants in air, water, sediments, and soil are presented. The application of new approaches to the determination of pollutants at the sampling stage is discussed. The main milestones in the development of passive techniques for sampling and/or extraction of analytes, and in biomonitors used in environmental analysis, are summarized in this review. The fabrication of varied molecular architectures in layer-by-layer (LbL) films is exploited to control the photoluminescence (PL) of poly(p-phenylene vinylene) (PPV) in an unprecedented way. This was achieved by controlling the F?rster energy transfer between PPV layers (donors) and layers of a commercial azodye, Brilliant Yellow (BY) (acceptors). Energy transfer was controlled by inserting spacer layers of inert polymers between PPV and BY layers and by photoaligning the BY molecules via trans-cis-trans isomerization. The PPV/BY LbL films displayed polarized PL whose intensity could be varied almost continuously by changing the time of photoalignment, which was carried out by impinging a linearly polarized laser light simultaneously to the PL experiments. For PPV/BY films with no spacer layers, PL was completely quenched, but its intensity increased with the number of spacing layers. Further increase in PL was obtained by photoaligning the BY molecules perpendicularly to the PPV molecules. This minimizes energy transfer, since F?rster processes are directional, dipole-dependent resonant transfers. Energy transfer is also controlled by imparting a preferential orientation of the PPV chains on PPV/BY LbL films deposited onto flexible Teflon substrates that may be stretched.  相似文献

European Legislation establishes that the sum of the migration levels of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE), its hydrolysis (BADGE.H2O and BADGE.2H2O) and chlorohydroxy (BADGE.HCl, BADGE.2HCl and BADGE.H2O.HCl) derivatives shall not exceed the limit of 1 mg/kg in foodstuffs or food simulants. A reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method combined with mass spectrometry detection using atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation (APCI) is developed for the separation, quantification and identification of the interesting compounds. Quantification of the analytes was carried out in the single ion recording mode, once their characteristic masses were selected from their full spectra, by using an external calibration. The optimised method was suitable for the migration evaluation of these compounds in different samples.  相似文献

A new route for the preparation of four new indolizidines, (1R,2S,6S,7S,8aS)- and (1R,2S,6R,7R,8aS)-1,2,6,7-tetrahydroxyindolizidine (30 and 32) and (1S,2R,7S,8S,8aR)- and (1S,2R,7R,8R,8aR)-1,2,7,8-tetrahydroxyindolizidine (44 and 46), is reported. The synthesis is based on Knoevenagel homologation of the readily available enantiomerically pure pyrrolidin-carbaldehydes 13 and 37followed by asymmetric dihydroxylation of the subsequent alkenyl pyrrolidines and cyclization of the corresponding imino-octitols. The new indolizidines and their precursors (imino-octitols 20, 25, 26) and indolizidinones 28a and 28b have been tested for inhibitory activities toward 26 glycosidases. The enzymatic inhibition of trans-7-hydroxy-d-(-)-swainsonine (44) toward alpha-mannosidases is similar to that described for trans-7-hydroxy-l-(+)-swainsonine (11b) toward naringinase (alpha-l-rhamnosidase from Penicillium decumbens).  相似文献

Procedures were developed for determining cadmium, aluminium, and copper in beer and the products used in its manufacture by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. Beer samples were injected into the furnace and solid samples were introduced as suspensions after preparation in a medium containing hydrogen peroxide, nitric acid, and ammonium dihydrogen phosphate for cadmium atomization. Calibration was performed with aqueous standards, and characteristic masses and detection limits were, respectively, 1 and 0.3 pg for cadmium, 18 and 5.4 pg for aluminium, and 5.6 and 6.8 pg for copper. Different samples of beer, wort, brewer's yeast, malt, raw grain, and hops were analyzed by the proposed procedures. Cadmium was found in low concentrations (0.001-0.08 microg/g and 0-1.3 ng/mL); copper (3-13 microg/g and 25-137 ng/mL) and aluminium (0.6-9 microg/g and 0.1-2 microg/mL) were found at higher levels. The reliability of the procedure was confirmed by comparing the results obtained with others based on microwave oven sample digestion, and by analyzing several certified reference materials.  相似文献

A selective and sensitive luminescence method for the determination of levofloxacin is described. The method is based in the luminescence signal from a terbium(III)-levofloxacin complex, in a micellar solution of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), using a chemical deoxygenation agent (Na2SO3). The method allows the determination of 8-600 ng mL-1 of levofloxacin in 10 mM SDS solution containing 0.04 M acetic acid-sodium acetate buffer (pH 6) and 7.5 mM Na2SO3 with lambda exc = 292 nm and lambda em = 546 nm. The luminescence method was applied to the determination of the levofloxacin in a Spanish commercialized pharmaceutical formulation Tavanic (Hoechst Marion Roussel). Good concordance was found between the nominal and experimental values (500 and 488 mg, respectively), with a relative standard deviation (RSD) of 0.6%. The proposed method was shown to be 100-fold more sensitive than the spectrophotometric method, and nearly 2-fold more sensitive than the fluorescence method. The method was also applied to levofloxacin determination in human serum (by external calibration method) and urine (by standard additions method), spiked at levels found after drug administration at normal clinical doses. Average recoveries found were 90.1 (RSD 1%) and 102 (RSD 1.9%), respectively.  相似文献

Two new nickel(II) end-to-end azido-bridged compounds, cis-catena-[NiL(2)(&mgr;-N(3))](n)()(ClO(4))(n)().nH(2)O (1) and [Ni(2)L(4)(&mgr;-N(3))(2)](PF(6))(2) (2), were synthesized and characterized; L is 2-(aminoethyl)pyridine. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 were solved. Complex 1: monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/a, a = 8.637(2) ?, b = 18.9995(7) ?, c = 12.3093(7) ?, beta = 105.92(2) degrees, Z = 4. Complex 2: triclinic system, space group P&onemacr;, a = 9.139(7) ?, b = 10.124(3) ?, c = 12.024(2) ?, alpha = 70.407(14) degrees, beta = 84.19(2) degrees, gamma = 67.67(4) degrees, Z = 1. In the two complexes the nickel atom is situated in a similarly distorted octahedral environment. The two complexes are different; 1 is a one-dimensional helicoidal complex with the two L ligands and the two end-to-end azido bridges in a cis arrangement while complex 2 is a dinuclear system with two end-to-end azido bridges, indicating the extreme importance of the counteranion present (ClO(4)(-) for 1 and PF(6)(-) for 2). The magnetic properties of the two compounds were studied by susceptibility measurements vs temperature. The chi(M) vs T plot for 1 shows the shape for a weakly antiferromagnetically coupled nickel(II) one-dimensional complex without a maximum until 4 K. In contrast, for complex 2 the shape of the chi(M) vs T curve shows a maximum near 40 K, indicating medium antiferromagnetic coupling. From the spin Hamiltonian -J(ij)()S(i)()S(j)(), J values for 1 and 2 were less than -1 and -29.1 cm(-)(1), respectively. The magnetic behavior for 1 and 2 may be explained in terms of the overlap between magnetic orbitals, taking into account the torsion of the Ni(II) atoms and azido-bridging ligands in the two structures.  相似文献

The synthesis of CF(3)OC(O)OOC(O)F is accomplished by the photolysis of a mixture of (CF(3)CO)(2)O, FC(O)C(O)F, CO, and O(2) at -15 degrees C using a low-pressure mercury lamp. The new peroxide is obtained in pure form in low yield after repeated trap-to-trap condensation and is characterized by NMR, IR, Raman, and UV spectroscopy. Geometrical parameters were studied by ab initio methods [B3LYP/6-311+G(d)]. At room temperature, CF(3)OC(O)OOC(O)F is stable for many days in the liquid or gaseous state. The melting point is -87 degrees C, and the boiling point is extrapolated to 45 degrees C from the vapor pressure curve log p = 8.384 - 1715/T (p/mbar, T/K). A possible mechanism for the formation of CF(3)OC(O)OOC(O)F is discussed, and its properties are compared with those of related compounds.  相似文献

The trioxide, CF(3)OC(O)OOOC(O)OCF(3), reacts with NO(2) at 0 degrees C to yield the new peroxynitrate, CF(3)OC(O)OONO(2), which is stable for hours at room temperature. It is spectroscopically characterized and some thermal properties are reported. From the vapor pressure, ln(p/p(0)) = 14.06 - 4565/T, of the liquid above the melting point of -89 degrees C, the extrapolated boiling point is 52 degrees C. CF(3)OC(O)OONO(2) dissociates at higher temperatures and low pressures into the radicals CF(3)OC(O)OO and NO(2) as demonstrated by matrix isolation experiments. The matrix-isolated peroxy radicals consist in a rotameric mixture of trans,trans,trans-CF(3)OC(O)OO and trans,trans,cis-CF(3)OC(O)OO, where trans and cis denote dihedral angles of ca. 180 degrees and 0 degree, respectively, around beta F-C-O-C, beta C-O-C-O, and beta O-C-O-O, with an equilibrium composition dependent on the thermolysis temperature. The radical trans,trans,cis-CF(3)OC(O)OO is found to be ca. 3 kJ mol(-1) higher in enthalpy than trans,trans,trans-CF(3)OC(O)OO. DFT calculations are performed to support the vibrational assignments and to provide structural information about CF(3)OC(O)OONO(2).  相似文献

Cyclization reactions of group 6 Fischer carbene complexes with cyclopentanone and cyclohexanone enamines are described. Enamine 3a undergoes thermal alpha,beta,beta'-annulation with alkenylcarbene complexes 1 and 2 (THF, 60 degrees C), affording semibullvalenes 5. The metalate intermediates 6, resulting from beta,beta'-annulation of the enamines 3a and 4a, were quantitatively formed by running the reaction in hexane at room temperature. Acid-promoted demetalation of 6 afforded endo-2-bicyclo[3.2.1]octen-8-ones 7 and endo/exo-2-bicyclo[3.3.1]nonen-9-ones 8 (endo/exo = 5:1). Using (S)-methoxymethylpyrrolidine-derived enamines 3b and 4b,c allowed highly enantioenriched cycloadducts endo-(+)-7 as well as endo-(-)-8 and exo-(-)-8 to be accessed. The non-heteroatom-stabilized carbene complex 10 was formed from complex 6 by Me(3)SiOTf-promoted elimination of the methoxy group, characterized by (13)C NMR, and transformed into the organic compounds 7, 7-d, and 11 as well as into bicyclo[3.2.1]octan-2,8-diones 14 and cycloheptanones 15. On the basis of this sequence, enantioenriched cycloheptanones (+)-15 were efficiently prepared in one pot from carbene complexes 2 and enamine 3b (51-55% yield, 91-96% ee). Extension of this work to simple Fischer carbene complexes 16 allowed an appropriate way to generate the nonstabilized pentacarbonyl[(phenyl(alkyl)carbene]tungsten complex 17 to be designed, for which the thermal and chemical behavior leading to compounds 18-21 is described.  相似文献
