We propose optical implementation for the quantum clock synchronization (QCS) algorithm by using only linear optical elements. Our method is based on the single photon representation of qubits. Two kinds of linear optical realization schemes, i.e,, the location-plus-polarization-qubit scheme and the all-location-qubit scheme, are proposed, respectively. We propose a scheme to enable a controllable cross-Kerr interaction between microwave photons in a circuit quantum electrodynamics(QED) system.In this scheme we use two transmission-line resonators(TLRs) and one superconducting quantum interference device(SQUID) type charge qubit,which acts as an artificial atom.It is shown that in the dispersive regime of the circuit-QED system,a controllable cross-Kerr interaction can be obtained by properly preparing the initial state of the qubit,and a large cross-phase shift between two microwave fields in the two TLRs can then be reached.Based on this cross-Kerr interaction,we show how to create a macroscopic entangled state between the two TLRs. 相似文献

We investigate the properties of the ponderomotive squeezing in an optomechanical system coupled to a charged nanomechanical oscillator(NMO) nearby via Coulomb force. We find that the introduction of Coulomb interaction allows the generation of squeezed output light from this system. Our numerical results show that the degree of squeezing can be tuned by the Coulomb coupling strength, the power of laser, and the frequencies of NMOs. Furthermore, the squeezing generated in our approach can be used to measure the Coulomb coupling strength. 相似文献

We investigate properties of the ponderomotive squeezing in an optomechanical system with two coupled resonators,where the tunable two-mode squeezing spectrum can be observed from the output field.It is realized that the squeezing orientation can be controlled by the detuning between the left cavity and pump laser.Especially,both cavity decay and environment temperature play a positive role in generating better pondermotive squeezing light.Strong squeezing spectra with a wide squeezing frequency range can be obtained by appropriate choice of parameters present in our optomechanical system. 相似文献

In this paper, the entanglement dynamics of two two-level atoms trapped in coupled cavities with a Kerr medium is investigated, We find that the phenomena of entanglement sudden death (ESD) and entanglement sudden birth (ESB) appear during the evolution process. The influences of initial atomic states, Kerr medium, and cavity-cavity hopping rate on the atom-atom entanglement are discussed. The results obtained by the numerical method show that the atom- atom entanglement is strengthened and even prevented from ESD with increasing cavity-cavity hopping rate and Kerr nonlinearity. 相似文献
