A SUCCESSIVE QUADRATIC PROGRAMMING ALGORITHM FOR SDP RELAXATION OF MAX-BISECTION

A successive quadratic programming algorithm for solving SDP relaxation of Max- Bisection is provided and its convergence result is given.The step-size in the algorithm is obtained by solving n easy quadratic equations without using the linear search technique.The numerical experiments show that this algorithm is rather faster than the interior-point method.     

A New Inorganic-organic Nanocomposite, 4,4＇ -Bipyridine Intercalated into Lamellar FePS3

A new intercalation compound, Fe0.85PS3(4,4‘-bipyH)0.30 (4,4‘-bipy = 4,4‘-bipyridine), is obtained by the intercalation of 4,4‘-bipyridine-2HCl with lamellar FePS3, which is characterized by elemental analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy. By comparison with the pure FePS3, the lattice spacing of Fe0.85PS3(4,4‘-bipyH)0.30 is expanded by ～5.7A, indicating that the ring plane of the guest is perpendicular to the layer of the host. The magnetic property ofFeo.85PS3(4,4‘-bipyH)0.30 is studied with SQUID. It exhibits an antiferromagnetic phase transition with TN of about 70 K.     

A New Loop Algebra and Corresponding Computing Formula of Constant γ in Quadratic-Form Identity

A new loop algebra containing four arbitrary constants is presented, -whose commutation operation is concise, and the corresponding computing formula of constant γ in the quadratic-form identity is obtained in this paper, which can be reduced to computing formula of constant γ in the trace identity. As application, a new Liouville integrable hierarchy, which can be reduced to AKNS hierarchy is derived.     

CHROMATIC NUMBER OF SQUARE OF MAXIMAL OUTERPLANAR GRAPHS

Let x（G^2） denote the chromatic number of the square of a maximal outerplanar graph G and Q denote a maximal outerplanar graph obtained by adding three chords y1 y3, y3y5, y5y1 to a 6-cycle y1y2…y6y1. In this paper, it is proved that △ ＋ 1 ≤ x（G^2） ≤△ ＋ 2, and x（G^2） = A ＋ 2 if and only if G is Q, where A represents the maximum degree of G.
