A procedure based on differential pulse cathodic stripping voltammetry on the graphite electrode is described for the determination of dissolved manganese in natural waters buffered at pH about 6.5 with acetate solution. In order to avoid interference of iron(II) the addition of fluoride is used. The limit of detection is 3 g/l for a deposition time of 6 min. Acidification and UV-irradiation are recommended for samples containing dissolved organic matter. Results of manganese determination in table mineral waters are reported and the possibility of manganese speciation is discussed.  相似文献

When excesses of ammonium thiocyanate and tetrabutylammonium chloride are added to a cobalt(II) solution, a water-insoluble ion-pair is formed; this compound is soluble in chloroform, isoamyl alcohol, and other solvents. The variables which affect the extractions by these two solvents are studied in order to obtain the optimal conditions and two alternative extraction procedures are proposed. Thus, the separation of cobalt as a previous step for its spectrophotometric determination is studied.  相似文献

The flow injection analyzer for students, teaching and research (FIAstar) is used in conjunction with a new micropool mercury flow-through electrode, to explore the possibilities offered by using d.c. polarography, rapid scan and amperometric titrations on a dispersed sample zone in motion. The work outlines the principles of the use of a scanning detector for investigation of the concentration gradients and chemical reactions taking place during the dispersion of sample solution within a carrier stream. Ab initio quantum chemical calculations have been performed on X2Cl? and X2Cl (X = C, Si, Ge) clusters. The geometrical structures, vibrational frequencies, electronic properties and dissociation energies are investigated at the Hartree–Fock (HF), Møller–Plesset second‐ and fourth‐order (MP2, MP4), CCSD(T) level with the 6‐311+G(d) basis set. The X2Cl (X = C, Si, Ge) and X2Cl? (X = Si, Ge) take a bent shape obtained at the ground state, while C2Cl? has a linear structure. The impact on internal electron transfer between the X2Cl and the corresponding anional clusters is studied. The three different types of electron affinities (EAs) at the CCSD(T) are reported. The most reliable adiabatic electronic affinities, obtained at the CCSD(T)/cc‐pvqz level of theory, are predicted to be 3.30, 2.62, and 1.98 eV for C2Cl, Si2Cl, and Ge2Cl, respectively. The calculated EAs of C2Cl and Ge2Cl are in good agreement with theoretical results reported. Colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) are attractive absorber materials for high‐efficiency photovoltaics because of their facile solution processing, bandgap tunability due to quantum confinement effect, and multi‐exciton generation. To date, all published performance records for PbS CQDs solar cells have been based on the conventional hot‐injection synthesis method. This method usually requires relatively strict conditions such as high temperature and the utility of expensive source material (pyrophoric bis(trimethylsilyl) sulfide (TMS‐S)), limiting the potential for large‐scale and low‐cost synthesis of PbS CQDs. Here we report a facile room‐temperature synthetic method to produce high‐quality PbS CQDs through inexpensive ionic source materials including Pb(NO3)2 and Na2S in the presence of triethanolamine (TEA) as the stabilizing ligand. The PbS CQDs were successfully prepared with an average particle size of about 5 nm. Solar cells based on the as‐synthesized PbS CQDs show a preliminary power conversion efficiency of 1.82%. This room‐temperature and low‐cost synthesis of PbS CQDs will further benefit the development of solution‐processed CQD solar cells.  相似文献

Tandem cascade reactions of allylazides and olefinic dipolarophiles to give cis‐fused 2,3,7‐triazabicyclo [3.3.0]octenes ( 5, 6 or 7 ) are reported. Therein, an intermolecular dipolar cycloaddition of azide and alkene gave a triazoline which was followed by isomerization of the triazoline to a diazoester ( 4 ) and then an intramolecular dipolar cycloaddition from the diazo functional group and the double bond in 4 to give 5 . Compound 5 may further more undergo a Michael addition to give 7‐substituted‐ 2,3,7‐ triazabicyclo [3.3.0]oct‐2‐ene ( 6 ) or a tautomerization to give 2,3,7‐triazabicyclo[3.3.0]oct‐3‐ene ( 7 ). The reaction may be manipulated to stop at a particular stage by adopting a suit able solvent or an appropriate temperature.  相似文献

The development of express method for detection of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDC) such as alkylphenols is required for ecological monitoring. Several attempts have been made to produce antibodies against 4-nonylphenol (NP) in recent years. This work describes the production of new antibodies against NP and also summarizes the characterization of antibodies obtained earlier. Three approaches used to produce alkylphenol-specific antibodies are compared; these are based on: 1. omega-(4-hydroxyphenyl)nonanoic or omega-(4-hydroxyphenyl)heptanoic acid NP derivatives designed to mimic the linear NP isomer; 2. 4-aminophenol, which potentially mimics various substituted phenolic compounds with different side-chain structures at position 4 of the benzene ring; and 3. a mixture of branched NP isomers, conjugated to the carrier protein via a benzene ring by the Mannich reaction, and expected to be the closest mimic of NP structure by preserving its natural alkyl moiety.Fluorescence polarization immunoassays based on different combinations of antibody and labeled antigen for screening detection of NP were developed and structural aspects of assay sensitivity and specificity were investigated. The assays based on the antisera raised against omega-(4-hydroxyphenyl)nonanoic acid and NP conjugate via Mannich reaction are capable of express detection of NP with detection limit of 7 microg mL(-1 )and assay dynamic range of 18-300 microg mL(-1).  相似文献

The spontaneous hydrolysis of phenyl chloroformate was studied in water-ethylene glycol, EG, cationic, zwitterionic, nonionic, and anionic micellar solutions, the surfactants being tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide, tetradecyl-N,N-dimethyl-3-ammonio-1-propanesulfonate, tricosaoxyethylene glycol ether, and sodium dodecyl sulfate. The dependence of the observed rate constant on surfactant concentration as well as on the percentage by weight of EG, varying from 0 to 50 wt %, was investigated. Information about changes in the critical micelle concentrations, in the micellar ionization degrees (for ionic surfactants), in the aggregation numbers, and in the polarity of the interfacial region of the micelles upon changing the weight percent of EG was obtained through conductivity, surface tension, spectroscopic, and fluorescence measurements. A simple pseudophase model was adequate to rationalize the kinetic data. Micellar medium effects were explained by considering charge-charge interactions and polarity, ionic strength, and water content in the micellar interfacial region. The acceleration of the reaction produced by an increase in the amount of EG present in the mixture was explained on the basis of the substantial decrease in the equilibrium binding constant of phenyl chloroformate molecules to the micelles, resulting in the contribution of the reaction taking place in the bulk water-EG phase being more important. The weight percent of EG did not substantially influence the rate constant in the micellar pseudophase.  相似文献

Despite the promising application of liposomes in wool dyeing, little is known about the mechanism of liposome interactions with the wool fiber and dyestuffs. The kinetics of wool dyeing by two dyes, Acid Green 27 (hydrophobic) and Acid Green 25 (hydrophilic), were compared in three experimental protocols: (1) without liposomes, (2) in the presence of phosphatidylcholine (PC) liposomes, and (3) with wool previously treated with PC liposomes. Physicochemical interactions of liposomes with wool fibers were studied under experimental dyeing conditions with particular interest in the liposome affinity to the fiber surface and changes in the lipid composition of the wool fibers. The results obtained indicate that the presence of liposomes favors the retention of these two dyes in the dyeing bath, this effect being more pronounced in case of the hydrophobic dye. Furthermore, the liposome treatment is accompanied by substantial absorption of PC by wool fibers with simultaneous partial solubilization of their polar lipids (more evident at higher temperatures). This may result in structural modification of the cell membrane complex of wool fibers, which could account for a high level of the dye exhaustion observed at the end of the liposome dyeing process.  相似文献
