Additive telluromolybdates, MoO3·2TeO2 and MIIO·TeO2·MoO3 (MIITeMoO6; MII = Co, Mn, Zn), converted ethyl lactate selectively to pyruvate in a vaporphase fixedbed flow system at 250–300 °C. A synergy in activity was observed for binary TeO2–MoO3, and crystalline Te2MoO7 was suggested as the active species. The Rietveld analysis of powder XRD patterns of ternary CoTeMoO6 revealed the layer structure quite different from that of the reference Te2MoO7, but tellurium was again located adjacent to molybdenum linked through lattice oxygen.  相似文献

Mass transfer which affects the rate of propylene polymerization with titanium trichloride–triethylaluminum, has been evaluated by use of a new method developed for this heterogeneous reaction. The polymerization was carried out with the usual flask reactor equipped with a paddle stirrer; the rate of gas absorption into the polymerization slurry was proportional to stirring speed and the reciprocal of the total amount of polymers produced. It has been confirmed that the polymerization rate separated from the absorption rate is purely kinetic (propagation), and an effective physical process, such as monomer transfer through a polymer film covering the catalyst surface, no longer exists.  相似文献

Two diastereomers of a photoresponsive oligodeoxyribonucleotide tethering a trans-azobenzene, based on the chirality of the central carbon of a diol linker, were separated by reversed-phase HPLC. On the basis of 2D NMR analysis, absolute configurations of the diastereomers alpha and beta (tentatively designated from differences in their retention time) were determined as R- and S-forms, respectively. For both diastereomers, their NMR-determined duplex structure showed that trans-azobenzene intercalates between base pairs, because distinct NOEs were observed between the protons of azobenzene and those of the adjacent base pairs, such as with the imino protons and methyl protons of thymine. The melting temperatures of both duplexes were higher than that of the corresponding native duplex, which contained no azobenzene residue, due to the intercalated trans-azobenzene stabilizing the duplex by a stacking interaction. Between these two diastereomers, differences in T(m) were also found: the melting temperature of the R-form duplex (alpha-isomer) was higher than that of the S-form (beta-isomer). On the basis of the NMR-determined structure, this difference was attributed to the fact that the S-form (beta isomer) causes more stress forming the duplex than does the R-form (alpha isomer) due to disturbances of the right-hand helix.  相似文献

The INDO calculations were performed on bicyclo[2.1.1]hex-5-yl radical. From these calculations, it was confirmed that the hyperfine coupling constants depend largely on the geometry of the α hydrogen. The localized MO's were obtained from the canonical MO's calculated by using the INDO method. With the use of the localized MO's thus obtained, the variation in the hyperfine coupling constants at the 6exo- and 6endo-protons in this radical was explained in terms of the through-bond and/or the through-space interactions according to the procedure which we proposed previously. That is by the procedure we can selectively pick up a particular interaction between the specified localized MO's. The hyperfine coupling constant in this radical can be expressed by the summation of several interaction terms. The difference in the hyperfine spin coupling constants of the H6exo and H6endo in the radical now concerned has been attempted to explain using MO coefficients of the occupied orbitals.  相似文献

Routine monitoring of urine is an effective way to detect occupational intake of radioactive material. Historically, determinations of uranium isotopic ratios have been performed by radiochemical separation followed by alpha spectrometry. With recent advancements in technology, inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) has become widely available for the determination of trace metals as well as radioactive nuclides with long half-lives, such as 238U in urine. Furthermore, ICP-MS measurements of 238U do not require radiochemical separation since the number of atoms in the sample is determined instead of the number of alpha particles emitted. However, this method does not provide good sensitivity for the determination of 235U due to its shorter half-life. An improved procedure using pre-concentration of uranium and determination by ICP-MS decreases the detection limit by a factor of ten or greater with only slight increase in total analysis time. The method also has the capability of accurately determining the isotopic ratio of the sample, which is very important in cases where enriched or depleted uranium is involved.  相似文献

Herein we report the construction of efficient light-harvesting antennae by hybridization of DNA oligonucleotides containing high densities of fluorophores into DNA junctions through d -threoninol. Six pyrene donors could be incorporated into each arm without self-quenching. A perylene acceptor was located at the center of the junction. Antenna effects of a duplex and three- to eight-way junctions were systematically compared. Six- and eight-way junctions had the highest antenna effects, and their effective absorption coefficients were 8.5 times higher than that of perylene. Interestingly, even-numbered junctions had higher efficiencies than odd-numbered junctions. Nondenaturing gel analyses and fluorescence lifetime measurements demonstrated that the strong odd–even effects were derived from differences in the stability of junctions. The results presented will guide the design of efficient artificial photosynthetic systems.  相似文献

In developing new insulin-mimetic zinc(II) complexes with various ligands including a biodegradable polymer, we prepared and characterized a Zn(gamma-pga) complex in solution as well as in solid, and investigated its in vitro insulin-mimetic activity and in vivo antidiabetic effect in type-2 diabetic KKA(y) mice. The in vitro insulin-mimetic activity of the Zn(gamma-pga) complex was considerable better than that of ZnSO(4). The Zn(gamma-pga) complex normalized the hyperglycemia in KKA(y) mice within 21 d when administrated orally at doses of 10-20 mg (0.15-0.31 mmol) Zn per kg body mass for 30 d. In addition, the impaired glucose tolerance, elevated HbA(1c) levels and metabolic syndromes were significantly improved in Zn(gamma-pga)-treated KKA(y) mice relative to those administrated with saline and ZnSO(4).  相似文献

Copper(II) ion-bound CysGly dipeptides linked by an azobenzene derivative were photoisomerized between the trans and cis forms. The two copper(II) ion centers were positioned close to each other in the cis form, whereas they were far away from each other in the trans form. The copper complex in the cis form exhibited DNA cleavage activity, whereas the activity in the trans form was negligible. The DNA cleavage activity of the cis form is attributed to the cooperation of the closely located copper(II) centers. The present results show the photocontrol of the cooperation of metal ions for DNA cleavage.  相似文献

The Raman and IR spectra of 1,5-dichloro- and 1,5-dibromopentanes and 1,6-dichloro-and 1,6-dibromohexanes have been measured. The normal coordinates have been calculated for these molecules using a consistent set of force constants and the molecular conformations studied by analysing the spectra with reference to the results of the calculations. In the crystalline solid state, 1,5-dichloropentane assumes the trans-trans-trans-gauche form and 1,5-dibromopentane, 1,6-dichloro- and 1,6-dibromohexanes assume the all-trans form. The normal coordinate treatment with the well-established force field was of great help in determining the whole molecular form of the relatively large chain molecules.  相似文献
