Amphotericin B (AMB) is an antifungal drug used for serious fungal infections. However, AMB has adverse reactions such as nephrotoxicity, which limit the clinical application of AMB alone or in combination with other antifungal drugs. Nano or micro drug delivery systems (DDS) have been proven to be effective in reducing the toxic and side effects of drugs. Further, the combination of AMB with other compounds with antifungal activity, such as curcumin (CM), may enhance the synergistic effects. Herein, AMB and CM were co-loaded into porous poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) microparticles (MPs) to prepare AMB/CM-PLGA MPs. The AMB/CM-PLGA MPs showed a remarkably reduced hemolysis (62.2 ± 0.6%) compared to AMB (80.9 ± 1.1%). The nephrotoxicity of AMB/CM-PLGA MPs is significantly lower than that of AMB. In vitro, AMB/CM-PLGA MPs had better inhibitory effects on the adhesion and biofilm formation of Candida albicans compared with AMB. Experiments on mice infected with C. albicans showed that AMB/CM-PLGA MPs have a better therapeutic effect than AMB in vivo. In summary, AMB/CM-PLGA MPs may be a novel and promising therapeutic candidate for fungal infection. 相似文献

Ferromagnetic insulator thin film nanostructures are becoming the key component of the state‐of‐the‐art spintronic devices, for instance, yttrium iron garnet (YIG) with low damping, high Curie temperature, and high resistivity is explored into many spin–orbit interactions related spintronic devices. Voltage modulation of YIG, with great practical/theoretical significance, thus can be widely applied in various YIG‐based spintronics effects. Nevertheless, to manipulate ferromagnetism of YIG through electric field (E‐field), instead of current, in an energy efficient manner is essentially challenging. Here, a YIG/Cu/Pt layered nanostructure with a weak spin–orbit coupling interaction is fabricated, and then the interfacial magnetism of the Cu and YIG is modified via ionic liquid gating method significantly. A record‐high E‐field‐induced ferromagnetic resonance field shift of 1400 Oe is achieved in YIG (17 nm)/Cu (5 nm)/Pt (3 nm)/ionic liquid/Au capacitor layered nanostructures with a small voltage bias of 4.5 V. The giant magnetoelectric tunability comes from voltage‐induced extra ferromagnetic ordering in Cu layer, confirmed by the first‐principle calculation. This E‐field modulation of interfacial magnetism between light metal and magnetic isolator may open a door toward compact, high‐performance, and energy‐efficient spintronic devices. 相似文献

Herein,copper ion doped calcium alginate(Cu~(2+)/CaAlg) composite hydrogel filtration membranes were prepared by using natural polymer sodium alginate(NaAlg) as raw material.The thermal stability and structure of the composite membranes were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis and infrared spectroscopy.The mechanical strength,anti-fouling performance,hydrophilicity and filtration performance of the membrane were studied.The results show that Cu~(2+)/CaAlg hydrogel membrane has excelle nt mechanical properties and thermal stability.The anti-swelling ability of the membrane was greatly enhanced by doping Cu~(2+).After three alternate filtration cycles,the flux recovery rate of Cu~(2+)/CaAlg hydrogel membrane can still reach 85%,indicating that the membrane has good antipollution performance.When the operation pressure was 0.1 MPa,the rejection of coomassie brilliant blue G250 reached 99.8% with a flux of 46.3 L m ~2 h ~1,while the Na_2 SO_4 rejection was less than 10.0%.The Cu~(2+)/CaAlg membrane was recycled after 24 h in the filtration process,and its flux and rejection rate did not decrease significantly,indicating that the hydrogel membrane has long-term application potential.The Cu~(2+)/CaAlg membrane has a wide range of applications prospect in dye desalination,fine separation and biopharmaceutical technology fields. 相似文献

Sn-doped ZnO (SZO) thin films are deposited by sol–gel dip-coating method with Sn content at 0 at.% and 1–15 at.% with an increment of 2 at.%. The structure and luminescence of the films are investigated. X-ray diffraction results indicate that all the SZO samples show preferential orientation along the (002) direction, and the scanning electron microscope exhibits that the surface morphology of the films change from nanoparticles to nanorods with increasing Sn concentration. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy reveals that Sn exists as valence of +4 in the matrix. The photoluminescence peaks at 381 and 398 nm are observed in all the samples. The ratio of intensity of peak at 381 nm to that of peak at 398 nm differed markedly. The intensity of peak at 398 nm might be due to the response for the Sn atoms, while the intensity of peak at 381 nm is probably related to the quantum size effect. 相似文献

Use of ionic liquids as reaction media was investigated in the design of an environmentally friendly single electron transfer‐living radical polymerization (SET‐LRP) for acrylonitrile (AN) without any ligand by using Fe(0) wire as catalyst and 2‐bromopropionitrile as initiator. 1‐Methylimidazolium acetate ([mim][AT]), 1‐methylimidazolium propionate ([mim][PT]), and 1‐methylimidazolium valerate ([mim][VT]) were applied in this study. First‐order kinetics of polymerization with respect to the monomer concentration, linear increase of the molecular weight, and narrow polydispersity with monomer conversion showed the controlled/living radical polymerization characters. The sequence of the apparent polymerization rate constant of SET‐LRP of AN was kapp ([mim][AT]) > kapp ([mim][PT]) > kapp ([mim][VT]). The living feature of the polymerization was also confirmed by chain extensions of polyacrylonitrile with methyl methacrylate.
