We present two different approaches to detect and quantify phase synchronization in the case of coupled non-phase coherent oscillators. The first one is based on the general idea of curvature of an arbitrary curve. The second one is based on recurrences of the trajectory in phase space. We illustrate both methods in the paradigmatic example of the R?ssler system in the funnel regime. We show that the second method is applicable even in the case of noisy data. Furthermore, we extend the second approach to the application of chains of coupled systems, which allows us to detect easily clusters of synchronized oscillators. In order to illustrate the applicability of this approach, we show the results of the algorithm applied to experimental data from a population of 64 electrochemical oscillators.  相似文献

The oxidation of 2-phenyl-3-arylaminoindoles (1a–e) has been studied in acetonitrile, dimethylformamide and propylene carbonate at a new type of platinum electrode with periodical renewal of the diffusion layer and at a rotating platinum electrode by cyclic voltammetry, d.c. and a.c. voltammetry, controlled potential coulometry and spectrometry (e.s.r. and u.v.). In the examined aprotic solvents and in the presence of a base (like water or diphenylguanidine) amines 1a–e undergo a two-electron oxidation to the corresponding imines. In a protophobic medium (acetonitrile or propylene carbonate) 1a–e are oxidized in two one-electron steps, the first of which leads to the formation of a cation radical (identified by e.s.r. spectrum), oxidizable at more positive potentials (second step). The second electron transfer, however, must be simultaneous with, or be immediately followed by, a very fast deprotonation reaction. The same e.e.c. sequence explains the observed bielectronic step of 1a–e in a protophilic aprotic solvent, like dimethylformamide.  相似文献

The determination by neutron activation of trace quantities of calcium, strontium and barium in single crystals of alkali halides has been studied. The matrix is eliminated before the irradiation by an ion-exchange procedure. Gamma spectroscopy after radiochemical separation is used to determine strontium and barium. Calcium is determined by measuring the β-activity of 49Sc formed by the decay of 49Ca. Long-lived radioactive tracers are used to determine the chemical yields.  相似文献

Agricultural vehicle operators are exposed to high levels of whole body vibrations (WBVs) which are related, above all, to surface irregularities, forward speed and vehicle setting. European Parliament Directive 2002/44/EEC sets the minimum requirements for the protection of workers from risks to their health and safety due to exposure to mechanical vibrations, and it is therefore of utmost to investigate any source of vibration during agricultural works and any machine-related transmission element. Tractor tires play a key role in damping vibrations; their response varies according to the tractor mass and tire inflation pressure and, during transport, they have to be taken into account at different forward speeds. The eccentricity of the tire is one of the factors thus influences the amplitude of the solicitations acting on the tire. This study was aimed at evaluating the influence of the “tire eccentricity” parameter on driver comfort and at introducing a test method for its assessment for validation purposes.  相似文献

A convergent synthesis applicable to the preparation of oxidized prenylchalcones is reported that relies on key Claisen–Schmidt, Mitsunobu, and vinyl/benzyl Stille coupling operations. The synthetic strategy was applied towards the preparation of the natural products morachalcone A and isogemichalcones B & C, allowing their preparation in less than 10 steps and 6–8% overall yield.  相似文献

Isocyanides are diverse C1 building blocks considering their potential to react with nucleophiles, electrophiles, and radicals. Therefore, perhaps not surprisingly, isocyanides are highly valuable as inputs for multicomponent reactions (MCRs) and other one‐pot cascade processes. In the field of organometallic chemistry, isocyanides typically serve as ligands for transition metals. The coordination of isocyanides to metal centers alters the electronic distribution of the isocyano moiety, and reaction pathways can therefore be accessed that are not possible in the absence of the metal. The tunable reactivity of the isocyanide functional group by transition metals has evolved into numerous useful applications. Especially palladium‐catalyzed isocyanide insertion processes have emerged as powerful reactions in the past decade. However, reports on the use of earth‐abundant and cheap base metals in these types of transformations are scarce and have received far less attention. In this Minireview, we focus on these emerging base metal catalyzed reactions and highlight their potential in synthetic organic chemistry. Although mechanistic studies are still scarce, we discuss distinct proposed catalytic cycles and categorize the literature according to 1) the (hetero)atom bound to and 2) the type of bonding with the transition metal in which the (formal) insertion occurs.  相似文献
