The freezing-point depression of the ternary systems tetraalkylammonium bromides-t-butanol-water for the first five homologs of R4NBr was measured. In the case of Bu4NBr, the effect of size of the alcohol (methahol ton-butanol) was also investigated. From the corresponding freezing-point data for the binary systems the apparent salting constants were calculated. The true salting constantsk s were obtained by extrapolation to infinite dilution. These are all very close to zero at the freezing temperature. From the corresponding thermochemical data the temperature dependence ofk s was calculated, and above 5°C all the R4NBr salts int-butanol; the salting-in increases with temperature and with the size of the hydrophobic cations. The scaled-particle theory is at present the only one which can account semiquantitatively for the temperature dependence of the salting-in effect. An ortho-metallation-electrophilic substitution sequence was employed as a key step to build the 4-benzoylpyridine framework. It was found that 4-benzoylpyridine-3-carboxamide and an N-pyridyl alkylated derivative both exist in a unique cyclized hemiamidal structure, not in the usually expected keto-amide open form. These structures represent fragment models of the Isoniazid-NAD adducts involved in the mechanism of action of the antituberculous drug Isoniazid.  相似文献

A series of neutral meso-arylglycosylporphyrins has been tested in order to evaluate their potency as antifungal agents against the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Photodynamic activity of these molecules results in intracellular damage as evidenced by the loss of clonogenicity and DNA fragmentation. The ability of these photosensitizers to permeate yeast cells is determined by microspectrofluorimetry and is correlated with their antifungal potency. Amphiphilic porphyrin derivatives are shown to exhibit the more pronounced photoactivity.  相似文献

Two salts of acyclic Schiff base cationic ligands, namely N,N′‐bis(2‐nitrobenzyl)propane‐1,3‐diammonium dichloride monohydrate, C17H22N4O42+·2Cl·H2O, (I), and 2‐hydroxy‐N,N′‐bis(2‐nitrobenzyl)propane‐1,3‐diammonium dichloride, C17H22N4O52+·2Cl, (II), were synthesized as precursors in order to obtain new acyclic and macrocyclic multidentate ligands and complexes. The cation conformations in compounds (I) and (II) are different in the solid state, although the cations are closely related chemically. Similarly, the hydrogen‐bonding networks involving ammonium cations, hydroxyl groups and chloride anions are also different. In the cation of compound (II), the hydroxyl group is disordered over two sets of sites, with occupancies of 0.785 (8) and 0.215 (8).  相似文献

This article describes the synthesis of new cyclic compounds able to react with amines to get nonisocyanate polyurethanes (NIPUs). The contribution of the most studied five‐membered cyclic carbonate was compared to five‐membered cyclic dithiocarbonate analogous and to a six‐membered cyclic carbonate. Difunctional reactive species were obtained by a simple substitution reaction or an efficient thiol–ene coupling reaction. The products, obtained with high yields, were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and Fourier tansform infrared spectroscopy analysis. The dicyclocarbonates were then used to synthesize NIPUs by step growth polymerization with several diamines. These materials exhibited glass transition temperatures from 19 to ?29 °C, molar mass from 1800 to 20,400 g mol?1, and a 20% mass loss temperature (Td = 20%) between 249 and 296 °C. We prove a C1-connecting lemma for pseudo-orbits of diffeomorphisms on compact manifolds. We explore some consequences for C1-generic diffeomorphisms. By focusing light with a sphere several wavelengths in diameter, we can obtain a photonic nanojet [Opt. Express 13, 526 (2005)]: if light is focused on the surface of the sphere, the width of the beam stays smaller than the wavelength along a distance of propagation of approximately two wavelengths and reaches a high intensity. We use the rigorous Mie theory to analyze the basic properties of the photonic jet in the general three-dimensional polarized case. This fast algorithm allows us to determine the influence of the radius and the refractive index of the sphere on the photonic jet. The polarization response is also studied. We observe that high-intensity concentrations and subwavelength focusing are two different effects. Their basic properties are analyzed, and explanations are proposed.  相似文献
