Single γ spectra and K X coincidence spectra from 120Sb decay are measured. The total internal conversion coefficients (ICCs) and those on the K-shell are determined for slowed E1 and E2 transitions in 120Sn. Penetration effects are observed for which the penetration parameters are found to be λ1 (89.9 keV, E1) = 3.6 ± 1.6 and λ1 (197.3 keV, E2) = 6 ± 2. 相似文献

Using a combination of local density functional theory and cluster exact diagonalization based dynamical mean field theory, we calculate many-body electronic structures of several Mott insulating oxides including undoped high T(c) materials. The dispersions of the lowest occupied electronic states are associated with the Zhang-Rice singlets in cuprates and with doublets, triplets, quadruplets, and quintets in more general cases. Our results agree with angle resolved photoemission experiments including the decrease of the spectral weight of the Zhang-Rice band as it approaches k=0. 相似文献

Isomeric ratios of 179Hf m2,g yields in the (γ, n) reaction and the cross section for the 179Hf m2 population in the (α, p) reaction are measured for the first time at the end-point energies of 15.1 and 17.5 MeV for bremsstrahlung photons and 26 MeV for alpha particles. The results are σ = (1.1 ± 0.11) × 10?27 cm2 for the 176Lu(α, p)179Hf m2 reaction and Y m2/Y g = (6.1 ± 0.3) × 10?6 and (3.7 ± 0.2) × 10?6 for the 180Hf(γ, n)179Hf m22 reaction at Е ep =15.1 and 17.5 MeV, respectively. The experimental data on the relative 179Hf m2 yield indicate a single-humped shape of the excitation function for the 180Hf(γ, n)179Hf m2 reaction. Using a novel approach to calculate optical properties of strongly correlated systems, we address the old question of the physical origin of the alpha--> gamma transition in Ce. We find that the Kondo collapse model, involving both the f and the spd electrons, describes the optical data better than a Mott transition picture involving the f electrons only. Our results compare well with existing experiments on thin films. We predict the full temperature dependence of the optical spectra and find the development of a hybridization pseudogap in the vicinity of the alpha--> gamma phase transition. 相似文献
