Zusammenfassung Durch Röntgenstrahlenbeugung mit Hilfe einer 190 mm Unicam-Hochtemperaturkamera wurde die thermische Ausdehnung von MnSe und MnSe2 von Zimmertemperatur bis 710° bzw. 522° C untersucht. Der thermische Ausdehnungskoeffizient wurde aus den Meßdaten nach der Methode der kleinsten Fehlerquadrate erhalten und beträgt für MnSe: =24,5·10–6°C–1 (94–450° C) und =14,3·10–6°C–1 (450–710° C). Die Ausdehnung von MnSe2 verläuft bis zum Bereich, in dem Zersetzung eintritt, linear. Die Methode der kleinsten Fehlerquadrate ergibt den Wert =20,0·10–6°C–1 (73–522° C).
High temperature X-ray studies of the thermal expansion ofMnSe andMnSe 2
The thermal expansion of MnSe and MnSe2 has been studied above room temperature up to 710° and 522° C, resp., by X-ray diffraction techniques using a 190 mm Unicam high temperature camera. The thermal expansion coefficients, , obtained from a linear least-squares analysis of the data are for MnSe: =24.5·10–6°C–1 (94–450° C) and =14.3·10–6°C–1 (450–710° C). The expansion of MnSe2 is linear up to the temperature range of decomposition. A least-squares analysis yields a value for of 20.0·10–6°C–1 (73–522° C).

The polymerization of methyl methacrylate was studied in carbon tetrachloride medium with ferric laurate, a metal soap, in combination with n-hexyl amine as the initiator system at 60°C. The rate of polymerization was found to be linear with the monomer concentration and proportional to the square root of both ferric ion and amine concentration. A reaction scheme involving initial complex formation between ferric ion and amine and subsequent reaction of the complex with the solvent molecule to produce free radicals responsible for initiation of polymerization has been postulated to account for the observed results.  相似文献

Rapid synthesis of wurtzite ZnS nanowires and nanoribbons has been achieved by a simple thermal evaporation of ZnS powder onto Si substrate in the presence of Au catalyst. A vapor-liquid-solid process is proposed for the formation of the ZnS nanostructures. The flow rate of the inert carrier Ar gas along with the temperature play an important role in defining the morphology of the ZnS nanostructures. The morphological change of the ZnS nanostructures and their growth sequence were studied through scanning electron microscopy. Room-temperature photoluminescence measurements showed intense blue emission at approximately 398 nm from both the nanowires and the nanoribbons.  相似文献

Non-isothermal studies of some adduct molecules of metallic halides with tetrahydropyran as the type MX2(THP)y in solid state, were carried out with a Derivatograph, where M  Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) or Cd(II), XCl- or Br-, THPtetrahydropyran and y0.1–1. These adduct molecules lost tetrahydropyran in single or multiple steps upon heating. Thermally stable intermediate products were isolated and characterised by elemental analysis and IR spectral measurement. The activation energy for each step of decomposition of the adduct was evaluated from the analysis of TG, DTG and DTA curves of the respective derivatogram. The enthalpy change was evaluated from the DTA peak area and the order of reaction was found to be unity, for each step of decomposition. Thermal parameters for the above adducts were compared with the adducts of other oxocompounds like dioxan, tetrahydrofuran, ethylene glycol dimethyl ether and diisopropyl ether.  相似文献

Trypanosoma brucei, the causative agent for human African trypanosomiasis, is an emerging ergosterol-dependent parasite that produces chokepoint enzymes, sterol methyltransferases (SMT), not synthesized in their animal hosts that can regulate cell viability. Here, we report the lethal effects of two recently described natural product antimetabolites that disrupt Acanthamoeba sterol methylation and growth, cholesta-5,7,22,24-tetraenol (CHT) and ergosta-5,7,22,24(28)-tetraenol (ERGT) that can equally target T. brucei. We found that CHT/ERGT inhibited cell growth in vitro, yielding EC50 values in the low nanomolar range with washout experiments showing cidal activity against the bloodstream form, consistent with their predicted mode of suicide inhibition on SMT activity and ergosterol production. Antimetabolite treatment generated altered T. brucei cell morphology and death rapidly within hours. Notably, in vivo ERGT/CHT protected mice infected with T. brucei, doubling their survival time following daily treatment for 8–10 days at 50 mg/kg or 100 mg/kg. The current study demonstrates a new class of lead antibiotics, in the form of common fungal sterols, for antitrypanosomal drug development.  相似文献

Solid porous and crystalline covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are characterized by their higher specific BET surface areas and functional pore walls, which allow the adsorption of various bioactive molecules inside the porous lattices. We have introduced a perylene-based COF, PER@PDA-COF-1, which acts as an effective porous volumetric reservoir for an anticancer drug, mitoxantrone (MXT). The drug-loaded COF (MXT–PER@PDA-COF-1) exhibited zero cellular release of MXT towards cancer cells, which can be attributed to the strong intercalation between the anthracene-dione motif of the drug and the perylene-based COF backbone. Here, we have introduced a strategy involving the serum-albumin-triggered intracellular release of mitoxantrone from MXT–PER@PDA-COF-1. The serum albumin acts as an exfoliating agent and as a colloidal stabilizer in PBS medium (pH = 7.4), rapidly forming a protein corona around the exfoliated COF crystallites and inducing the sustained release of MXT from the COF into tumorigenic cells.
