An algorithm is developed to perform rapid control of the thickness and optical constants of a film structure during growth. This algorithm is tested on Fe/SiO2/Si(100) structures grown in an Angara molecular-beam epitaxy setup. The film thicknesses determined during their growth are compared with X-ray spectral fluorescence analysis and transmission electron microscopy data. 相似文献

An algorithm that makes it possible to solve the inverse problem of ellipsometry aimed at determining the absorption coefficient on the basis of a single-zone ellipsometric experiment during the growth of thin semiconducting films is developed and implemented. The technique is based on analysis of the variation of ellipsometric parameters Ψ and Δ directly during the growth. The algorithm is tested in synthesis of Si/SiO2/Si(100) and Hg1 ? x Cd x Te structures. 相似文献

Carbon nanotubes are known as prospective material for the optoelectronics, vacuum electronics, non-linear optics and for the composite material synthesis. Boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) were obtained only recently. It is expected that these nanotubes possess the unique properties. BN is much more chemically inert than carbon. Its oxidation temperature is above 1000°C as the graphite is totally oxidized already at 650°C. BNNTs are wide-gap semiconductors with the 6 eV gap. In case of the introducing of the carbon atoms into the BN nanotube wall its bandgap may be varied in wide range. This property is important for the UV optics. 相似文献

The utilization of graphene on silicon carbide (SiC) substrates holds substantial promise for advancements in spintronics and nanoelectronics. Furthermore, incorporating magnetic metals provides an optimal framework for probing fundamental physical phenomena. The approach to developing such systems is in situ intercalation of graphene with magnetic metals. Herein, the electronic structure is analyzed and the magnetic properties of the system are synthesized by the thermal decomposition of 6H-SiC(0001) surface and subsequent intercalation of graphene with cobalt (Co) and iron (Fe) atoms. X-ray photoemission spectroscopy and low-energy electron diffraction are employed to control the synthesis and metal intercalation processes. The morphological characteristics of the synthesized system are studied by means of atomic force microscopy. The findings derived from magneto-optic Kerr effect measurements reveal a homogeneous ferromagnetic ordering at room temperature. Angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy is used to ascertain the impact of intercalation on graphene's electronic structure. The results of this study are essential for the development of graphene-based spintronics and nanoelectronic devices as well as for fundamental studies in magnetic graphene systems. 相似文献

Ultrathin iron layers on different substrates and a Dy1 ? x Ni x /Nibilayer have been investigated in situ using the magneto-optical Kerr effect.
