The effect of composition of polycrystalline ferrites based on nickel ferrite on the magnetoelastic coupling in the ultrasonic
frequency range was experimentally investigated. The dependences of the velocities of magnetoelastic waves on the magnetizing
field were measured. The maximum values of the magnetoelastic coupling coefficient (59%) and the sensitivity of transverse
sound velocity to variations in magnetic field (0.1%Oe−1) were obtained for ferrites of the Fe2.026Ni0.95Co0.024O4 composition. 相似文献

Parametric coupling of three traveling waves is studied numerically on an example of magnetoelastic waves in a highly anharmonic antiferromagnetic crystal. The physical mechanism of coupling is explained as a result of modulation of the nonlinear elastic moduli of the crystal by RF electromagnetic pumping. Parametric interaction of a coupled wave triad with homogeneous pumping field results in an instability of explosive type. Above the threshold of instability, the amplitudes of waves increase to occurrence of singularity in finite time. Explosion is accompanied by spatial localization of wave envelopes. The supercritical dynamics of a wave triad is simulated numerically taking into account the third- and fourth-order magnetoelastic anharmonicity of the medium. Violation of the explosive scenario by nonlinear phase mismatch between the coupled waves and pumping field is demonstrated. Modulation of the pumping phase in time is considered as a tool to compensate for the nonlinear mismatch and recondition the explosive amplification and spatial localization of wave triads. A proper phase modulation law is found in a numerical experiment. 相似文献

One-dimensional magnetophotonic microcavity crystals with nongarnet dielectric mirrors are created and investigated. The defect layers in the magnetophotonic crystals are represented by two bismuth-substituted yttrium iron garnet Bi:YIG layers with various bismuth contents in order to achieve a high magnetooptical response of the crystals. The parameters of the magnetophotonic crystal layers are optimized by numerical solution of the Maxwell equations by the transfer matrix method to achieve high values of Faraday rotation angle Θ F and magnetooptical Q factor. The calculated and experimental data agree well with each other. The maximum values of Θ F =–20.6°, Q = 8.1° at a gain t = 16 are obtained for magnetophotonic crystals with m = 7 pairs of layers in Bragg mirrors, and the parameters obtained for crystals with m = 4 and t = 8.5 are Θ F =–12.5° and Q = 14.3°. It is shown that, together with all-garnet and multimicrocavities magnetophotonic crystals, such structures have high magnetooptical characteristics. 相似文献

We present measurements of the critical behaviour of the EPR linewidths at frequencies 9.21 and 35.5 GHz. In the exchange critical region above Tc (4πx ? 1) the strong field dependence of the linewidths is observed, even when the field variation of susceptibility x is small. This phenomenon is explained by the spin diffusion effect on the linewidth. The spin diffusion coefficients D for CdCr2Se4 and CdCr2S4 are determined from the linewidths data. The temperature dependence D is found to be consistent with the predictions of the dynamical scaling theory. 相似文献
