A tunable dual-narrowband pass-band filter is designed. A one-dimensional photonic crystal(1D PC) is comprised of alternate dielectric layer and vacuum layer. Two quantum wells(QWs) as defects can be constructed by sandwiching two plasma slabs symmetrically in the 1D PC, and a dual-narrowband pass-band filter is formed. The conventional finitedifference time-domain(FDTD) method and piecewise linear current density recursive convolution(PLCDRC)–FDTD method are applied to the dielectric and plasma, respectively. The simulation results illustrate that the dual-narrowband frequencies can be tuned by changing the plasma frequency. The pass band interval and the half-power bandwidths(-3-dB band widths) are related to the space interval between two QWs. 相似文献

采用磁化等离子体的分段线性电流密度卷积时域有限差分(PLCDRC-FDTD)算法研究具有单一缺陷层的一维磁化等离子体光子晶体的缺陷模特性. 从频域角度分析得到微分高斯脉冲的透射率,并讨论该光子晶体的缺陷层厚度、位置、周期常数和等离子体参数对其缺陷模的影响. 结果表明,改变位置和周期常数不会影响缺陷模的频率,改变缺陷层的厚度可以增加缺陷模数,改变等离子体参数能同时影响缺陷模的频率和峰值.

<正>The transmission coefficients of electromagnetic(EM) waves due to a superconductor-dielectric superlattice are numerically calculated.Shift operator finite difference time domain(SO-FDTD) method is used in the analysis.By using the SO-FDTD method,the transmission spectrum is obtained and its characteristics are investigated for different thicknesses of superconductor layers and dielectric layers,from which a stop band starting from zero frequency can be apparently observed.The relation between this low-frequency stop band and relative temperature,and also the London penetration depth at a superconductor temperature of zero degree are discussed,separately.The low-frequency stop band properties of superconductor-dielectric superlattice thus are well disclosed. 相似文献

We propose the practical realization of a shrinking device by using layered structures of homogeneous isotropic materials.By mimicking the shrinking device with concentric alternating thin layers of isotropic dielectrics,the permittivity and the permeability in each isotropic layer can be properly determined from the effective medium theory in order to achieve the shrinking effect.The device realized by multilayer coating with dielectrics is validated by TE wave simulation,and good shrinking performance is demonstrated with only a few layers of homogeneous isotropic materials. 相似文献

A novel bandpass filter(BPF)based on spoof surface plasmon polaritons(SSPPs)using a compact folded slotline structure is proposed and experimentally demonstrated.The proposed novel SSPPs structure compared with a conventional plasmonic waveguide with slot line SSPPs unit structure at the same size,the considerable advantages in much lower asymptotic frequency with tight field confinement,which enable the proposed filter to be more miniaturization.A high-efficient mode conversion structure is designed to transition from TE-mode to SSPPs-mode by gradient slotline lengths.The low-frequency stop-band can be committed with microstrip to slotline evolution on both sides of the dielectric,while the high-frequency cutoff band is realized by the proposed SSPPs structure.The influence of dispersion relation,electric field distribution,surface current,and structural parameters on the transmission characteristics of the proposed BPF are analyzed by finite difference time domain(FDTD).To validate the design concept,the prototype of the miniaturized SSPPs BPF has been manufactured and measured.The experimental results show high performance of the fabricated sample,in which the working in a range of 0.9 GHz-5.2 GHz with the relative bandwidth is 142%,the insertion loss less than 0.5 dB,the reflection coefficient less than-10 dB,and the group delay is less than one ns.This works provides a mirror for realizing the miniaturization of waveguides,and the application and development of high-confinement SSPPs functional devices in the microwave and THz regimes. 相似文献

In this paper, a novel unconditionally stable alternating direction implicit finite-different time-domain method(ADI-FDTD) called the one-step ADI-FDTD method is presented, where the calculation for one discrete time step is performed using only one procedure, but not the original two sub-updating procedures. Consequently, the proposed one-step ADI-FDTD methods have consumed less computer memory and computation resources and have been faster than the conventional ADI-FDTD methods. We analytically and numerically verified that the new algorithm is unconditionally stable and free from the Courant condition. 相似文献
