Summary Hydrazine, an oxygen scavenger in boiler water, was derivatised to the corresponding acetone azine and determined at the ng ml–1 level by gas chromatography. Morpholine, a corrosion inhibitor used in steam boilers, was estimated either directly (if >2.0 g ml–1) or by quantitative preconcentration (0.1 ng – 2.0 g ml–1). To obtain symmetrical peaks for these amines, the column packing was coated with KOH. Use of a nitrogen-specific detector improved accuracy of estimation of hydrazine and morpholine, giving a RSD of 1.9–3.6%. Chromatographic analysis of these amines in boiler feed water and steam condensate samples collected from boilers servicing a petroleum refinery is described. Environmental safety regulations calls for monitoring of hydrazine and the methods developed can easily be adapted for this purpose. 相似文献

Summary Pseudohalide complexes of the (-cpL)TiXZ type (where cp = cyclopentadienyl, L = -McCs5-H4 and X = N3, NCS, NCO or NCSe) have been prepared in aqueous and nonaqueous media and characterized by elemental analyses, i.r. and n.m.r. spectroscopy. I.r. spectroscopy shows that NCS, NCO and NCSe are bonded to the titanium atom through nitrogen in these complexes which are thus true isothiocyanato, isocyanato and isoselenocyanato derivatives respectively. 相似文献

Quercetin is one of the most powerful bioactive dietary flavonoids. The in vivo biological study of quercetin is extremely difficult due to its very low solubility. However, diorganotin complexes of quercetin are more useful when contrasted with quercetin due to increased solubility. In the present study, quercetin, substituted biguanide synthesized in the form of Schiff base and its di-alkyl/aryl tin (IV) complexes were obtained by condensing Schiff base with respective di-alkyl/aryl tin (IV) dichloride. Advanced analytical techniques were used for structural elucidation. The results of biological screening against Gram-positive/Gram-negative bacteria and fungi showed that these diorganotin (IV) derivatives act as potent antimicrobial agents. The in silico investigation with dihydropteroate (DHPS) disclosed a large ligand–receptor interaction and revealed a strong relationship between the natural exercises and computational molecular docking results. 相似文献

40Ar-emulsion interactions are studied, to investigate the question of anomalons, in twoG- 5 emulsion stacks. In about 4600 primary interactions, projectile fragments of Z≧2 for all generations have been followed until they interact or leave the stack. After careful estimation of charges of these fragments, variation of their mean free paths is studied as a function of distance from the preceding interaction. Generation effect,N h dependence and production angle effect are investigated. In addition multi-chain events are analysed separately. Our results do not show anomalons at the 6% level and are consistent with non-occurrence of anomalons. However, this experiment is not sensitive enough to rule out anomalons (with a mfp of the order of 2 to 3 cm) produced at about 1% (or less) level. 相似文献

Summary
N,N-Dialkyldithiocarbametohafnium(IV) complexes of the type -CpHf(S2CNR2)3, (R = Me or Et) have been prepared in nonaqueous media by reacting dichlorodicyclopentadienylhafnium(IV) with sodium salts of substituted dithiocarbamic acids. Conductance and i.r. studies show that these complexes are nonelectrolytes in which all of the dithiocarbamate ligands are bidentate. A coordination number of seven may be assigned to hafnium(IV) in these complexes, 'H n.m.r. spectra of the complexes in CDCI3 at ambient temperature (30°) indicate that the metal centered rearrangement and the S2C N bond rotation are both slow on the n.m.r. time scale. Using emulsion detector the collective flow signals in inelastic interactions of 84Kr nuclei with Ag(Br) at 950 MeV/nucleon are studied. A transverse momentum analysis is performed to determine the reaction
plane. The bounce-off of spectator fragments is observed. In azimuthal distributions relative to the reaction plane squeeze-out
and side-splash of participants are seen.

We have investigated electron production in 4.0 GeV/cπ+pinteractions. Limits to direct electron pair production are measured and an example of ?0 or ω0 decay to e+e? is observed. The ratio of the number of singly produced electrons to the total number of charged pions is less than 6 × 10-5 (at the 95% confidence level). 相似文献
