We report new results on the diffraction properties of photoinduced gratings in InGaAs/InGaAsP MQW structures. The original feature of this device is that the QWs are enclosed in an asymmetric Fabry–Perot microcavity in order to increase the diffraction efficiency. We observe oscillations in the diffraction efficiency due to resonant effects in the microcavity. The experimental spectra are compared with theory. Diffraction efficiency at 1.55 μm attains a maximum value of 2.7% at a write beam fluence of 260 μ J cm−2, and then decreases at higher fluences. We explain this phenomenon by an absorption saturation at high excitation.  相似文献

In the title compound, C8H5Br2NO4, the endocyclic angles of the ring deviate significantly from the ideal value of 120°. The substituents deviate from the plane of the ring, with large twist angles for the aldehyde, nitro and methoxy groups. The geometry of the mol­ecule in the crystal is compared with that of the isolated mol­ecule, as given by a self‐consistent field molecular‐orbital Hartree–Fock calculation. Only weak hydrogen bonds of the C—H?Br and C—H?O types are present in the crystal structure.  相似文献

The standard (p(o) = 0.1 MPa) molar enthalpy of formation of crystalline 2H-1,3-benzoxazine-2,4(3H)dione was measured, at T= 298.15 K, by static bomb calorimetry and the standard molar enthalpy of sublimation, at T= 298.15 K, was obtained using Calvet microcalorimetry. These values were used to derive the standard molar enthalpy of formation in the gaseous phase, T= 298.15 K, of -(401.0 +/- 3.5) kJ mol(-1). The standard molar enthalpy of sublimation of isatoic anhydride was recalculated, and our recommended experimental value for the standard molar enthalpy of formation in the gaseous phase, T= 298.15 K, is -(406.2 +/- 3.4) kJ mol(-1). Density functional calculations for the two isomers 2H-1,3-benzoxazine-2,4(3H)dione and isatoic anhydride, in which the ring nitrogen and oxygen have been transposed, confirm the experimental evidence of nearly identical thermochemical stability for these isomers.  相似文献

Many biosensors, including those based on sensing agents immobilized inside hydrogels, suffer from slow response dynamics due to mass transfer limitations. Here we present an internal pumping strategy to promote convective mixing inside crosslinked polymer gels. This is envisioned as a potential tool to enhance biosensor response dynamics. The method is based on electroosmotic flows driven by non-uniform, oscillating electric fields applied across a polyacrylamide gel that has been doped with charged colloidal silica inclusions. Evidence for enhanced mixing was obtained from florescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP) measurements with fluorescein tracer dyes dissolved in the gel. Mixing rates in silica-laden gels under the action of the applied electric fields were more than an order of magnitude faster than either diffusion or electrophoretically driven mixing in gels that did not contain silica. The mixing enhancement was due in comparable parts to the electroosmotic pumping and to the increase in gel swelling caused by the presence of the silica inclusions. The latter had the effect of increasing tracer mobility in the silica-laden gels.  相似文献

Demand for lubricating oils is increasing in the growing Brazilian economy. The use of vegetable bases in exchange of minerals can bring socio-economic and environmental benefits for Brazil. The purpose of this study is to compare the thermal and oxidative stability of vegetable oils related to the bases commonly used as lubricants. In this study, thermogravimetric analysis of castor oil, cotton oil, macauba’s almond oil, passion oil, paraffinic mineral oil, naphthenic oil (NH-140) and synthetic oil (Etro) was performed in inert and oxidative atmosphere to study the thermal and oxidative degradation of the vegetable oils related to the most common lubricants’ oils base. These oils’ oxidation stability were determined by standard procedures (ISO 6886). The use of mineral oil’s additives in these vegetable oils was tested to verify the viability of these additives to improve the oxidative stability of the vegetable oils. The castor oil and the cotton oil presented results of thermal analysis similar to the mineral and synthetic bases values. The castor oil was the only vegetable oil that showed a great oxidative stability. All other vegetable oils had their oxidative stability significantly increased by the additives.  相似文献
