The dynamics of non-linear oscillators comprising of a single-degree-of-freedom system and beams with elastic two-sided amplitude constraints subject to harmonic loads is analyzed. The beams are clamped at one end, and constrained against unilateral contact sites near the other end. The structures are modelled by a Bernoulli-type beam supported by springs using the finite element method. Rayleigh damping is assumed. Symmetric and elastic double-impact motions, both harmonic and sub-harmonic, are studied by way of a Poincaré mapping that relates the states at subsequent impacts. Stability and bifurcation analyses are performed for these motions, and domains of instability are delineated. Impact work rate, which is the rate of energy dissipation to the impacting surfaces, is evaluated and discussed. In addition, an experiment conducted by Moon and Shaw on the vibration of a cantilevered beam with one-sided amplitude constraining stop is modelled. Bifurcation observed in the experiment could be captured.  相似文献

The reaction of various α-silyl-α-keto esters with thiosemicarbazide at 50 °C in ethyl acetate was found to give α-silyl-substituted thiosemicarbazone-acetic acid esters in good yield. These may then be converted to their corresponding silyl-substituted 1,2,4-triazin-5-ones by cyclization under basic conditions.  相似文献

On noise reduction methods for chaotic data   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Recently proposed noise reduction methods for nonlinear chaotic time sequences with additive noise are analyzed and generalized. All these methods have in common that they work iteratively, and that in each step of the iteration the noise is suppressed by requiring locally linear relations among the delay coordinates, i.e., by moving the delay vectors towards some smooth manifold. The different methods can be compared unambiguously in the case of strictly hyperbolic systems corrupted by measurement noise of infinitesimally low level. It was found that all proposed methods converge in this ideal case, but not equally fast. Different problems arise if the system is not hyperbolic, and at higher noise levels. A new scheme which seems to avoid most of these problems is proposed and tested, and seems to give the best noise reduction so far. Moreover, large improvements are possible within the new scheme and the previous schemes if their parameters are not kept fixed during the iteration, and if corrections are included which take into account the curvature of the attracting manifold. Finally, the fact that comparison with simple low-pass filters tends to overestimate the relative achievements of these nonlinear noise reduction schemes is stressed, and it is suggested that they should be compared to Wiener-type filters.  相似文献

The synthesis and binding properties of a new tricationic guanidiniocarbonyl pyrrole receptor 7 are described. Receptor 7 binds citrate 9 and other tricarboxylates such as trimesic acid tricarboxylate 8 with unprecedented high association constants of K(assoc) > 10(5) M(-1) in water as determined by UV and fluorescence tritration studies. According to NOESY experiments and molecular modeling calculations, the tricarboxylates are bound within the inner cavity of receptor 7 by ion pairing between the carboxylate groups and the guanidiniocarbonyl pyrrole moieties, favored by the nonpolar microenvironment of the cavity. Hence, receptor 7 can be regarded as a molecular flytrap. In the case of the aromatic tricarboxylate 8, additional aromatic interactions further strengthen the complex. The complexes with the tricarboxylates are so strong that even the presence of a large excess of competing anions or buffer salts does not significantly affect the association constant. For example, the association constant for citrate changes only from K(assoc) = 1.6 x 10(5) M(-1) in pure water to K(assoc) = 8.6 x 10(4) M(-1) in the presence of a 170-fold excess of bis-tris buffer and a 1000-fold excess of chloride. This makes 7 one of the most efficient receptors for the binding of citrate in aqueous solvents reported thus far.  相似文献

Treatment of the complexes [(C(5)H(4)PR(2))(2)Zr(CH(3))(2)](b: R = isopropyl; c: R = cyclohexyl) with the reagent HIr(CO)(PPh(3))(3) (2b) yield the heterobimetallic complexes [mu-C(5)H(4)PR(2))(2)(H(3)C-Zr-Ir(CO)(PPh(3)))] (4b, 4c) with evolution of methane. The reaction of the -PPh(2) substituted analogue with initially yields an intermediate [(H(3)C)(2)Zr(mu-C(5)H(4)PPh(2))(2)Ir(H)(CO)(PPh(3))] 5a, that still contains both methyl groups at zirconium and does not contain a metal-metal bond. At room temperature, the intermediate reacts further with methane formation to eventually yield the (Zr-Ir) complex 4a. The corresponding [mu-C(5)H(4)PR(2))(2)(H(3)C-Zr-Rh(CO)(PPh(3)))] complexes 3a (R = Ph) and 3b (R = isopropyl) react cleanly with isopropyl alcohol to liberate methane and yield the corresponding [mu-C(5)H(4)PR(2))(2)(Me(2)CHO-Zr-Rh(CO)(PPh(3)))] products (7a, 7b). Carefully monitoring the reaction of with Me(2)CHOH by NMR revealed that the Zr-Rh functionality is attacked first to give the intermediate [Me(Me(2)CHO)Zr([micro sign]-C(5)H(4)PR(2))(2)Rh(H)(CO)(PPh(3))] (6b). This intermediate then reacts further to cleave off methane and re-form the (Zr-Rh) metal-metal bond to yield the product 7b. The tetrametallic mu-oxo-(Zr-Rh) metallocene derivate 11a was obtained starting from the (Zr-Rh) complex 3a and it was characterized by X-ray diffraction. It may be that this reaction is also initiated by H-OH addition to the [Zr-Rh] metal-metal bond.  相似文献

Abstract

Various trimeric co-oligomers combining 2-phenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole mesogenic moieties with a biphenyl mesogenic moiety were synthesized and their mesomorphic behaviour investigated by polarizing microscopy, calorimetry and X-ray scattering. Such co-oligomeric structures provide an opportunity to combine different mesogenic units. Thus readily accessible homochiral biphenyl mesogenic units were connected with thiadiazole mesogenic units leading to an oligomeric liquid crystal material with ferroelectric properties.  相似文献

Precipitation of naphthenate salts is normally a problem in the processing of acidic crude oils. In this study, the goal was to find suitable methods to investigate the interfacial reaction between tetraacid and calcium under emulsified conditions. Two different systems have been studied depending on composition and applied shear. The influence of inhibitors has been investigated and the same inhibitor was found to be the most effective one regardless of the system. Depletion of tetraacid in the oil phase was analyzed with UV-vis and HPLC. Interfacial area and droplet size in the emulsions were measured with fluorescence microscope and pulse-field gradient NMR. Since this reaction takes place over the interface, the investigation clearly documents, the importance of the total interfacial area of the emulsified system.  相似文献
