Resonant Modes of L-Shaped Gold Nanoparticles

We analyze the electric field modes excited in resonant L-shaped gold nanoparticles using a finite-difference time domain method. Compared to a single gold nanorod, both the odd and even modes of the L-shaped nanoparticles can be excited due to the symmetry breaking. The nanoparticles with equal and unequal arms have different dependence of field enhancement and mode on the incident polarization.     

Interaction between two folded solitary waves for a modified Broer--Kaup system

By means of a Painlevé-Baicklund transformation and a multi-linear separation-of-variable approach, abundant localized coherent excitations of a modified Broer-Kaup system are derived. There appear possible phase shifts for the interactions of the （2＋1）-dimensional novel localized structures, which are discussed in this paper.     

Propagation of optical vortex solitons due to the Gouy phase in strongly nonlocal nonlinear media

In this paper,we present a study on the propagation of the symmetrical optical vortices formed by two collinear Laguerre-Gauss solitons in strongly nonlocal nonlinear media.The optical vortices,which move along the beam axis as the light propagates,result in a rotation of the beam’s transverse profile.This physical reason of the rotation is the Gouy phase acquired by the component beams.     

Discrete doubly periodic and solitary wave solutions for the semi-discrete coupled mKdV equations

In this paper, the improved Jacobian elliptic function expansion approach is extended and applied to constructing discrete solutions of the semi-discrete coupled modified Korteweg de Vries (mKdV) equations with the aid of the symbolic computation system Maple. Some new discrete Jacobian doubly periodic solutions are obtained. When the modulus $m \rightarrow 1$, these doubly periodic solutions degenerate into the corresponding solitary wave solutions, including kink-type, bell-type and other types of excitations.     

All-Optical Modulation with a Surface Plasmon Mach-Zehnder Interferometer

We use two parallel nano-slits in a silver film to form a surface plasmon Mach Zehnder interferometer （MZI）, based on the interference of two surface plasmon waves propagating along the two surfaces of the silver film. Coating the silver film with a photoinduced birefringence polymer film, we achieve optical modulation of the MZI output by changing the refractive index of the polymer film with a pump beam. An on/off ratio 0f 2. 7 is obtained for a probe wavelength of 865 nm.     

基于粒子群优化的UKF在SINS/GPS组合导航中的应用

针对组合导航中使用传统Kalman滤波方法时噪声协方差矩阵参数需要耗时耗力反复试验得到的问题,提出利用粒子群优化算法对卡尔曼滤波器的滤波参数Q和R进行寻优后用于组合导航的方法。将滤波参数Q和R作为粒子进行寻优,将粒子群算法优化得到的滤波参数值作为卡尔曼滤波器输入参数,用于SINS/GPS组合导航系统。仿真实验结果表明,12次实验中粒子群算法搜索出的参数均值分别为0.0208(°)/h、94.7827?g,接近所设置的噪声参数值与标准参数值0.02(°)/h、100?g。半物理实验结果表明,在实际系统中,与经验参数值用于卡尔曼滤波器相比,粒子群算法优化得到的滤波参数值位置估计精度提高了15%~30%,从而提高了组合导航性能。
