Epitaxial and c-axis oriented double perovskite Sr2CrWO6 thin films were prepared on SrTiO3 (100) and LaAlO3 (100) substrates by pulsed-laser deposition. Structural, magnetic and transport properties were found to be sensitive to the gas conditions employed during the deposition. A small amount of oxygen along with Ar during the deposition was found to be essential for B-site ordering; such films displayed lattice parameters close to the bulk value and display ferromagnetic metallic behavior. The Curie temperature observed above 500 K in these films is higher than bulk Sr2CrWO6 samples. Films grown without oxygen were observed to have long c-parameter and no B-site ordering; they were non-magnetic and semiconducting. 相似文献

Poly(chloropropyl-methyl)silsesquioxanes (PCMSQ) were prepared using the base catalyzed sol–gel processing on methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMS) and 3-chloropropyltriethoxysilane (CPTES) with 5:5, 6:4, and 7:3 molar ratios in methanol and water. The PCMSQ with 6:4 molar ratio of MTMS:CPTES, which has the maximum yield, according to the elemental analysis, was chosen and some chlorine atoms of the chloropropyl groups were changed to different amines by refluxing it with ethylenediamine (en), diethylenetriamine (dien), ortho-phenylenediamine (opda), and 2-imidazolidinethion (imt). The amine grafted PCMSQ were then used to support MoO2(acac)2 complex and dien grafted PCMSQ with higher metal content was applied to the epoxidation of cis-cyclooctene with TBHP. The product yields were studied by gas liquid chromatography and the catalytic procedure was optimized for the parameters involved such as the solvent and oxidant. The catalytic activity of this catalyst also was investigated toward epoxidation of some other alkenes. It was also applied to check its reuse ability. 相似文献

Pronounced spin precessions are observed in a geometry with negligible canting of the magnetization in ferromagnetic La(0.67)Ca(0.33)MnO(3) thin films using the time-resolved magneto-optical Kerr effect. The precession amplitude monotonically decreases with increasing field, indicating that the coherent spin rotation may be triggered by a transient exchange field and not by demagnetization and/or anisotropy field modulation. We attribute the transient exchange field to emergent antiferromagnetic interactions due to charge transfer and modification of the kinetic energy of e(g) electrons under optical excitation. 相似文献

Composition-spread La(1-x)SrxMnO3 thin films were prepared by pulsed laser deposition technique from LaMnO3 and SrMnO3 targets. The films were epitaxial with a continuous variation of the out-of-plane lattice parameter along the direction of composition gradient. Scanning Raman spectroscopy has been employed as a nondestructive tool to characterize the composition-spread films. Raman spectra showed the variation of the structural, Jahn Teller distortions and the presence of coexisting phases at particular compositions that are in agreement with the previous observation on the single-crystal samples. Raman spectra on the continuous composition-spread film also reveal the effect of disorder and strain on the compositions. 相似文献

We present a detailed magnetic critical behavior study of Fe2CrAl Heusler alloy, for the first time, with rigorous analysis of high precision magnetization data obtained over the critical temperature region. Our studies confirm that B2 type site-disordered in Fe2CrAl alloy exhibits long-range ferromagnetic order below a well defined Curie temperature (T=208 K). Though the nature of this transition is found to be of second order, the estimated critical exponents β=0.42, γ=1.356 and δ=4.25, are in between the theoretically predicted values for three-dimensional Heisenberg and mean-field interaction models. However, it is noteworthy that the scaling relations are obeyed indicating renormalization of interactions around the Curie temperature (TC), where magnetization data collapse into two separate branches, above and below TC. This conclusively shows that calculated critical exponents as well as critical temperature are unambiguous and intrinsic to the system. However, magnetization vs temperature data shows another magnetic transition (at T=313 K) above the Curie temperature. It is shown that the short range magnetic correlation exist even beyond TC with cluster moment ∼102 μB. This is attributed to a site disorder which results in formation of Cr clusters with short range ferromagnetic order. 相似文献

We present a magnetic study of the insulating perovskite LaMn1−xTixO3+δ (0<x0.2) including measurements of magnetization, susceptibility, and magnetic relaxation. The Curie temperature was found to decrease with increasing content of Ti. Two distinct magnetic transitions, irreversibility, non-exponential relaxation and aging effects confirm a reentrant spin–glass state for x=0.2. The time decay of the magnetization has an algebraic functional form for times up to 2 h. The specific heat also displays characteristic features of a spin–glass system by a linear low-temperature dependence and a broadened peak near the temperature of the reentrant transition. 相似文献

We report magnetization, dielectric and dc transport properties of La(2)NiMnO(6) nanoparticles. Both dc and ac magnetization measurements indicated a metastable magnetic behaviour with random ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions below 110 K; critical slow-down, memory and rejuvenation properties signify the spin glass nature. The dc resistivity shows a semiconducting nature but the temperature dependent magnetoresistance (MR) shows a peak at the spin glass transition. The colossal dielectric property and its frequency dependence were interpreted using the Maxwell-Wagner (MW) interfacial polarization model. Impedance analysis along with magnetodielectric (MD) and magnetoresistance (MR) indicates that the observed MD originates from the combined effect of MR and MW interfacial polarization. 相似文献
