The regions trapping allyl radicals in irradiated polyethylene and the reactivity of the radicals with various monomers have been studied by electron spin resonance. Most of the allyl radicals are trapped in defects or surfaces of the crystallite, and only 10% of the radicals are trapped inside the crystallites. Since the reactivity of the allyl radicals depends on whether they come in contact with reactive monomers, the rate of reaction is related to the concentration of the monomers. When grafting reactions are initiated by allyl radicals, the rate of initiation is rapid and the rate of termination at the initial stage is also very fast. Consequently the yield of grafting increases at the initial stage but soon levels off, which is in contrast to the grafting behavior with alkyl radicals.  相似文献

Infrared and Raman spectra of 1,2-dibromoethane CH2BrCH2Br and CD2BrCD2Br were observed in the liquid state, and the fundamental frequencies were determined by comparison with those of related molecules. Infrared absorption intensities of fundament bands were measured in the liquid state, and the intensity data were interpreted on the basis of the valence-optical theory. From the converged value of a population ratio, the energy difference between the trans and gauche isomers was determined, which was in good agreement with the value obtained from the temperature effect of the IR spectrum.  相似文献

In this report, a simple process for preparing HFC-245fa through the reaction of 1,1,1,3,3-pentachloropropane (PCP) and anhydrous HF via two-step vapor-phase catalytic fluorination is described. The antimony pentafluoride catalyst was supported on inert porous materials to improve the catalytic activity. The resulting process catalyst not only exhibited high catalytic activity and excellent thermo-stability, but also improved the performance of SbF5, in terms of hygroscopicity and corrosion.  相似文献

N-Aminophenanthridinium salt reacted with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate in the presence of potassium carbonate to give a 3,3a-dihydropyrazolo[1,5-f]phenanthridine but with mono-substituted acetylenes (ethyl propiolate and benzoylacetylene) it produced aromatized pyrazolo-[1,5-f]phenanthridines (XII and XIII). The reaction of the N-benzoylimine with di-substituted acetylenes (dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate and methyl phenylpropiolate) and mono-substituted acetylenes (ethyl propiolate and benzoylacetylene) yielded 1,3a-dihydropyrazolo[1,5-f]phenanthridines and the aromatized products (XII and XIII), respectively.  相似文献

Evaluating the acute toxic effects of drugs or toxins is based mainly on studies which require the use of light microscopy. Recently, the effects of such substances on biological membranes, such as the nasal membrane, has been studied using the traditional Ussing chambers, which make it possible to study the transepithelial flux of drugs across membranes and to measure some bioelectrical parameters. A model is described, with which the changes in the membrane permeability, for sodium, potassium and chlorine, can be calculated directly, based on values obtained from the Ussing chamber system. Also, an experiment is described for evaluating the toxic effects of the cholera toxin B subunit, by measuring these changes in isolated rabbit nasal mucosa.  相似文献

A series of polystyrenes with phosphonic acid ( 5 ) via long alkyl side chains (4, 6, and 8 methylene units) were prepared by the radical polymerization of the corresponding diethyl ω‐(4‐vinylphenoxy)alkylphosphonates, followed by the hydrolysis with trimethylsilyl bromide. The resulting phosphonated polystyrene membranes had a high oxidative stability against Fenton's reagent at room temperature. The membranes prepared from 5 exhibited a very low water uptake, similar to that of Nafion 117 over the wide range of 30 to 80% relative humidity (RH). The proton conductivities of these membranes are lower than that of Nafion 117 in the range of 30 to 90% RH, but comparable or higher than those of the reported phosphonated polymers with higher IEC values, such as the phosphonated poly(N‐phenylacrylamide) (PDPAA, IEC: 6.72 mequiv/g) and fluorinated polymers with pendant phosphonic acids (M47, IEC: 8.5 mequiv/g), at low RH conditions despite the much lower IEC values (3.0–3.8 mequiv/g) of these membranes. These results suggest that the flexible pendant side chains of 5 would contribute to the formation of hydrogen‐bonding networks by considering the very low water uptake of these polymers. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
