We describe a route for the polymer supported total synthesis of the cyclic bisbibenzyls of the isoplagiochin type found in liverworts. TentaGel® resins were used as solid support for a sequence involving Suzuki, Wittig and hydrogenation protocols. The polymer linked intermediates could be characterized by HR-MAS NMR. We report on the growth of all-oxide SrRuO3/CoFe2O4/La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 and La2/3Sr1/3MnO3/CoFe2O4/SrRuO3 heterostuctures on SrTiO3(001) and MgO(001) substrates by pulsed laser deposition. Structural analyses by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy clearly indicate the preservation of epitaxial relations when the La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 layer is grown first, whereas trilayers with SrRuO3 at the bottom are more disordered. Both the substrate material and the deposition sequence strongly influence the formation of various structural defects such as interfacial dislocations and sub-grain structures, and this is clearly reflected by a reduction of the saturation magnetization in the top electrode. When the substrate material and the deposition sequence are correctly chosen, however, the magnetic moments of the La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 and SrRuO3 layers reverse independently, and the La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 layer retains bulk-like magnetic properties. 相似文献

Summary. In this work we address the issue of integrating
symmetric Riccati and Lyapunov matrix differential equations. In
many cases -- typical in applications -- the solutions are positive
definite matrices. Our goal is to study when and how this property
is maintained for a numerically computed solution.
There are two classes of solution methods: direct and
indirect algorithms. The first class consists of the schemes
resulting from direct discretization of the equations. The second
class consists of algorithms which recover the solution by
exploiting some special formulae that these solutions are known to
satisfy.
We show first that using a direct algorithm -- a one-step scheme or
a strictly stable multistep scheme (explicit or implicit) -- limits
the order of the numerical method to one if we want to guarantee
that the computed solution stays positive definite. Then we show two
ways to obtain positive definite higher order approximations by
using indirect algorithms. The first is to apply a symplectic
integrator to an associated Hamiltonian system. The other uses
stepwise linearization.

In this paper, we introduce optimal control algorithm for the design of pulse sequences in NMR spectroscopy. This methodology is used for designing pulse sequences that maximize the coherence transfer between coupled spins in a given specified time, minimize the relaxation effects in a given coherence transfer step or minimize the time required to produce a given unitary propagator, as desired. The error caused by the uncertainty in the refractive index in the determination of the asymmetry parameter g is studied for a variety of mineral dust aerosol samples at two different optical wavelengths. Lorenz–Mie computations for spherical model particles are compared with results based on laboratory-measured phase functions in conjunction with a commonly used extrapolation method. The difference between the g-value based on measurements and the g-value based on Lorenz–Mie simulations is generally on the same order of magnitude as the error caused by the uncertainty in the refractive index m. For larger effective radii the error in g related to the use of spherical model particles is even larger than that related to the uncertainty in m. This indicates that the use of spherical model particles can be among the major error sources in the determination of the asymmetry parameter of dust aerosols. 相似文献

Flow cytometry has become a widely-used and powerful tool for the characterization of cells according to their expression of specific proteins. However, sensitivity of this method is still limited since conventionally labeled antibodies can be conjugated with at maximum 1–10 dye molecules. This fact resulted in the need to develop new techniques in order to identify molecules which are expressed in very low but functionally relevant amounts. In the past, we have successfully used a liposome-based high-sensitivity immunofluorescence technique to measure the expression of low abundant membrane bound glucocorticoid receptors (mGR) on different cell types. The use of this technique allows the detection of as few as 50–100 antigen molecules per cell which is due to a 100-fold to 1000-fold increase in fluorescence signal intensity compared with conventional methods. The higher sensitivity is achieved since thousands of dye molecules can be enclosed in liposomes. Another modern high-sensitivity immunofluorescence staining method is the purchasable Fluorescence Amplification by Sequential Employment of Reagents (FASER) procedure. Here, we aimed at comparing sensitivity and specificity of these two techniques for the detection of the mGR. Our data demonstrate the FASER technique to be more sensitive and also more specific for the detection of mGR as compared to the liposome technique.
