Objective: The present study aimed to develop and optimize esomeprazole loaded proniosomes (EZL-PNs) to improve bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy. Method: EZL-PNs formulation was developed by slurry method and optimized by 33 box-Bhekhen statistical design software. Span 60 (surfactant), cholesterol, EZL concentration were taken as independent variables and their effects were evaluated on vesicle size (nm), entrapment efficiency (%, EE) and drug release (%, DR). Furthermore, optimized EZL-PNs (EZL-PNs-opt) formulation was evaluated for ex vivo permeation, pharmacokinetic and ulcer protection activity. Result: The EZL-PNs-opt formulation showed 616 ± 13.21 nm of vesicle size, and 81.21 ± 2.35% of EE. EZL-PNs-opt exhibited negative zeta potential and spherical confirmed scanning electron microscopy. EZL-PNs-opt showed sustained release of EZL (95.07 ± 2.10% in 12 h) than pure EZL dispersion. The ex-vivo gut permeation result exhibited a significantly (p < 0.05) enhanced flux than pure EZL. The in vivo results revealed 4.02-fold enhancement in bioavailability and 61.65% protection in ulcer than pure EZL dispersion (43.82%). Conclusion: Our findings revealed that EZL-PNs formulation could be an alternative delivery system of EZL to enhance oral bioavailability and antiulcer activity.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a theory of gravity called mimetic f(R, T) in the presence of swampland dS conjecture. For this purpose, we introduce several inflation solutions of the Hubble parameter H(N) from f(R, T) = R + δT gravity model, in which R is Ricci scalar, and T denotes the trace of the energy–momentum tensor. Also, δ and N are the free parameter and a number of e-fold, respectively. Then we calculate quantities such as potential, Lagrange multiplier, slow-roll, and some cosmological parameters such as ns and r. Then we challenge the mentioned inflationary model from the swampland dS conjecture. We discuss the stability of the model and investigate the compatibility or incompatibility of this inflationary scenario with the latest Planck observable data.  相似文献

In this paper we study the pollution-error in the h-version of the finite element method and its effect on the local quality of a-posteriori error estimators. We show that the pollution-effect in an interior subdomain depends on the relationship between the mesh inside and outside the subdomain and the smoothness of the exact solution. We also demonstrate that it is possible to guarantee the quality of local error estimators in any mesh-patch in the interior of a finite-element mesh by employing meshes which are sufficiently refined outside the patch.  相似文献

Considering external electric field as well as third- and fourth-order phonon anharmonic interaction terms in the pseudospin-lattice coupled mode (PLCM) model Hamiltonian for KDP-type ferroelectrics, expressions for field-dependent shift, width, renormalized soft mode frequency, Curie temperature, dielectric constant and dielectric loss are evaluated. For the calculation, method of statistical double-time temperature-dependent Green’s function has been used. By fitting model values of physical quantities, temperature and electric field dependences of soft mode frequency, dielectric constant and loss have been calculated which compare well with experimental results of Baumgartner [8] and Choi and Lockwood [9]. In the present paper, photovoltaic studies of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) based on betacyanin/TiO2 and betacyanin/WO3–TiO2 have been done. The cell performances were compared through IV curves and wavelength dependant photocurrent measurements for the two new types of DSSCs. The TiO2-coated DSSC showed the photovoltage and photocurrent of 300 mV and 4.96 mA/cm2, whereas the cell employing WO3–TiO2 photoelectrode showed the values 435 mV and 9.86 mA/cm2, respectively. The conversion efficiency of TiO2 based dye-sensitized solar cell was found to be 0.69 %, while WO3–TiO2-based cell exhibited a higher conversion efficiency of 2.2 %. The better performance of the WO3–TiO2 dye-sensitized solar cell photoelectrode is thought to be due to an inherent energy barrier at the electrode/electrolyte interface leading to the reduced recombination of photoinduced electrons.  相似文献

In this article, we describe a simple one-pot rapid synthesis route to produce uniform silver nanoparticles by thermal reduction of AgNO3 using oleylamine as reducing and capping agent. To enhance the dispersal ability of as-synthesized hydrophobic silver nanoparticles in water, while maintaining their unique properties, a facile phase transfer mechanism has been developed using biocompatible block co-polymer pluronic F-127. Formation of silver nanoparticles is confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and UV–vis spectroscopy. Hydrodynamic size and its distribution are obtained from dynamic light scattering (DLS). Hydrodynamic size and size distribution of as-synthesized and phase transferred silver nanoparticles are 8.2 ± 1.5 nm (σ = 18.3%) and 31.1 ± 4.5 nm (σ = 14.5%), respectively. Antimicrobial activities of hydrophilic silver nanoparticles is tested against two Gram positive (Bacillus megaterium and Staphylococcus aureus), and three Gram negative (Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris and Shigella sonnei) bacteria. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values obtained in the present study for the tested microorganisms are found much better than those reported for commercially available antibacterial agents.  相似文献

Mn0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 ferrite nanoparticles with tunable Curie temperature and saturation magnetization are synthesized using hydrothermal co-precipitation method. Particle size is controlled in the range of 54 to 135 Å by pH and incubation time of the reaction. All the particles exhibit super-paramagnetic behaviour at room temperature. Langevin’s theory incorporating the interparticle interaction was used to fit the virgin curve of particle magnetization. The low-temperature magnetization follows Bloch spin wave theory. Curie temperature derived from magnetic thermogravimetric analysis shows that Curie temperature increases with increasing particle size. Using these particles magnetic fluid is synthesized and magnetic characterization is reported. The monolayer coating of surfactant on particle surface is confirmed using thermogravimetric measurement. The same technique can be extended to study the magnetic phase transition. The Curie temperature derived using this measurement complies with the low-temperature magnetic measurement. The room-temperature and high-temperature magnetization measurements are also studied for magnetic fluid systems. The magnetic parameters derived for fluid are in good agreement with those obtained for the particle system.  相似文献

Terbium activated Al2O3 phosphors were synthesized by combustion technique using hydrazine as a reductive non-carbonaceous fuel. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns of the samples were recorded to confirm the formation of the sample. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) images were taken to study the surface morphology of the sample. The photoluminescence (PL), thermoluminescence (TL) and mechanoluminescence (ML) properties of the γ-ray irradiated samples were studied. ML was excited impulsively by dropping a piston on the sample. In ML glow curves one peak with a shoulder was observed. ML intensity increases with activator concentration. Optimum ML was observed for the sample having 0.5 mol% of Tb ions. In the TL glow curve two distinct peaks, one around 222 °C and another around 280 °C, were observed for the samples having 0.5 mol% of activator concentration. In the PL spectra the 5D47F5 line at 544 nm in the green region is observed, which is the strongest in Al2O3 system. It is suggested that de-trapping of trapped charge carriers followed by recombination is responsible for ML and TL in this system.  相似文献

The COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread worldwide at a rapid rate. Currently, the absence of any effective antiviral treatment is the major concern for the global population. The reports of the occurrence of various point mutations within the important therapeutic target protein of SARS-CoV-2 has elevated the problem. The SARS-CoV-2 main protease (Mpro) is a major therapeutic target for new antiviral designs. In this study, the efficacy of PF-00835231 was investigated (a Mpro inhibitor under clinical trials) against the Mpro and their reported mutants. Various in silico approaches were used to investigate and compare the efficacy of PF-00835231 and five drugs previously documented to inhibit the Mpro. Our study shows that PF-00835231 is not only effective against the wild type but demonstrates a high affinity against the studied mutants as well.  相似文献
