In this work, preparation and properties of different nanoclays modified by organic amines (octadecyl amine, a primary amine, and hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide, a tertiary amine) and brominated polyisobutylene‐co‐paramethylstyrene (BIMS)‐clay nanocomposites are reported. The clays and the rubber nanocomposites have been characterized with the help of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X‐ray diffraction (XRD). The X‐ray diffraction peaks observed in the range of 3 °–10 ° for the modified clays disappear in the rubber nanocomposites. TEM photographs show predominantly exfoliation of the clays in the range of 12 ± 4 nm in the BIMS. In the FTIR spectra of the nanocomposites, there are common peaks of virgin rubber as well as those of the clays. Excellent improvement in mechanical properties like tensile strength, elongation at break, and modulus is observed on incorporation of the nanoclays in the BIMS. An expedient route toward the synthesis of 4-hydroxyquinolone grafted spiropyrrolidines or pyrrolizidines has been accomplished through 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of various azomethine ylides derived from isatin or acenaphthalene and sarcosine with 4-hydroxyquinolone derivatives as dipolarophile. The regio and stereo chemical outcome of the cycloaddition reaction is ascertained by X-ray crystallographic studies and spectroscopic techniques of the cycloadducts. Furthermore, cytotoxicity evaluation of selected compounds showed significant inhibition of cell proliferation against cervical as well as colon cancer cell lines.  相似文献

According to the traditional usage of the plant for antiinflammation and analgesia, Leucas aspera was tested for its prostaglandin (PG) inhibitory and antioxidant activities. The extract showed both activities, i.e., inhibition at 3 x 10(-4) g/ml against PGE(1)- and PGE(2)-induced contractions in guinea pig ileum and a 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging effect. The separation guided by the activities in these dual assay methods provided eight lignans and four flavonoids, LA-1- -12, among which LA-1- -7 and LA-10- -12 were identified as nectandrin B, meso-dihydroguaiaretic acid, macelignan, acacetin, apigenin 7-O-[6"-O-(p-coumaroyl)-beta-D-glucoside], chrysoeriol, apigenin, erythro-2-(4-allyl-2, 6-dimethoxyphenoxy)-1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)propan-1-ol, myristargenol B, and machilin C, respectively. LA-8 was determined to be (-)-chicanine, the new antipode of the (+) compound, by spectroscopic methods including CD and ORD. Chiral-HPLC analysis of LA-9 showed that it was a mixture of two enantiomers, (7R, 8R)- and (7S, 8S)-licarin A. All of these components were first isolated from L. aspera. PG inhibition was observed in LA-1, LA-2, and LA-5, and antioxidant activity in LA-1- -3 and LA-8- -12.  相似文献

A sonochemical method was employed to prepare reactive nanoparticles of FeSbO(4) at 300 °C, which is the lowest calcination temperature reported so far for preparing FeSbO(4). A systematic evolution of the FeSbO(4) phase formation as a function of temperature was monitored by in situ synchrotron X-ray measurements. The 300 and 450 °C calcined powders exhibited specific surface areas of 116 and 75 m(2)/g, respectively. The X-ray photoelectron spectra analysis confirmed the presence of mainly Fe(3+) and Sb(5+) in the calcined powder. The response of the fabricated sensors (using both 300 and 450 °C calcined powders) toward 1000 ppm and 1, 2, 4, and 8% hydrogen, respectively, has been monitored at various operating temperatures. The sensors fabricated using 300 °C calcined powder exhibited a response of 76% toward 4% H(2) gas at an operating temperature of 300 °C, while those fabricated using 450 °C calcined powder exhibited a higher response of 91% with a quick recovery toward 4% H(2) gas at 300 °C. The results confirmed that a higher calcination temperature was preferred to achieve better sensitivity and selectivity toward hydrogen in comparison to other reducing gases such as butane and methane. The experimental results confirmed that the sonochemical process can be easily used to prepare FeSbO(4) nanoparticles for various catalytic applications as demonstrated. Here, we project FeSbO(4) as a new class of material exhibiting high sensitivity toward a wide range of hydrogen gas. Such sensors that could detect high concentrations of hydrogen may find application in nuclear reactors where there will be a leakage of hydrogen.  相似文献

Acid catalysed epoxy ring opening of several lupane type triterpenoids leads to unusual allylic hydroxylation. The reaction involves the formation of epoxide by m‐chloroperbenzoic acid followed by the treatment of mineral acid. The simple methodology finds utility to introduce a hydroxyl function at the allylic position in these triterpenoids, which is otherwise quite difficult.  相似文献

The cleavage of α-hydroxy tert-butyldimethylsilyl ether to diol takes place efficiently with LAH. It has been proposed that the reaction proceeds via intramolecular hydride transfer from the alkoxy aluminium hydride. Condensation of 2‐((1H‐benzimidazol‐2‐yl)thio)acetonitre 1 with aromatic aldehydes in methanol containing piperidine gave the corresponding 2‐((1H‐benzimidazol‐2‐yl)thio)‐3‐arylacrylonitrile 2 , which on treatment with NaBH4 in ethanol unexpectedly and chemoselectively gave 2‐((1H‐benzimidazol‐2‐yl)thio)‐3‐arylpropanenitrile 3 by the reduction of the double bond of 2 . 3 on methylation with dimethyl sulfate containing K2CO3 as a base and tetrabutylammonium bromide as PTC gave 2‐((1‐methylbenzimidazol‐2‐yl)thio)‐3‐arylpropanenitrile 6 . The latter could also be prepared in an alternative way by reaction of 1 with dimethyl sulfate giving the intermediary 2‐((1‐methylbenzimidazol‐2‐yl)thio)acetonitrile 4 , followed by condensation with aromatic aldehydes yielding 5 and subsequent reduction of 5 with NaBH4 in methanol. 6 could be directly synthesized by treatment of 4 with benzyl chloride in DMF and triethylamine as a base at 60°C for 5 h.  相似文献

In this paper, an attempt is made to present a method of quantum cost minimization or optimization technique for quantum reversible circuits using proposed merger rules in Exclusive Sum of Product (ESOP) method. These modified ESOP methods are used to minimize the quantum circuits. We found that the quantum cost is drastically decreased than the previous ESOP method. It will be easy to find the quantum cost and quantum gate optimized quantum circuits implementation. It will also reduce quantum error while the quantum circuit is executed in real quantum processor.
