In an magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) generator using a frozen inert gas plasma (FIP), the availability of a frozen argon plasma, the influence of plasma uniformity at the generator inlet on the performance, and the feasibility of a large-scale generator are numerically examined by /spl gamma/-/spl theta/ two-dimensional simulation. The FIP is produced by pre-ionizing inert gas without an alkali metal seed at the generator inlet, then the ionization degree of the plasma is kept almost constant in the whole of the channel because of considerable slow recombination of the inert gas just like frozen reaction plasma. It is found that not only helium, but also argon frozen plasma MHD generation is realized, although highly accurate control of inlet ionization degree is necessary for argon. It is important to reduce the nonuniformity of plasma properties at the generator inlet in order to raise the maximum enthalpy extraction ratio. Even for the large-scale generator with 1000-MW thermal input, the ionization degree is kept almost constant in the whole of the channel and the high performance is obtainable. This result is extremely attractive for the FIP MHD generator.  相似文献

This paper presents a simple chaotic circuit consisting of two capacitors, one linear two-port VCCS and one time-state-controlled impulsive switch. The impulsive switch causes rich chaotic and periodic behavior. The circuit dynamics can be simplified into a one-dimensional return map that is piecewise linear and piecewise monotone. Using the return map, we clarify parameter conditions for existence of chaotic and periodic attractors and coexistence state of attractors.  相似文献

The effect of ultraviolet irradiation on the terpolymerization was investigated. In the terpolymerizations of sulfur dioxide–butene-1–acrylonitrile, sulfur dioxide–butene-1–n-butyl acrylate, and maleic anhydride–allyl chloride–acrylonitrile systems, the composition of the terpolymers prepared under ultraviolet irradiation was different from those prepared in the dark. The unit content of sulfur dioxide and butene-1 or of maleic anhydride and allyl chloride in the terpolymer increased under ultraviolet irradiation. The nature of the growing end under ultraviolet irradiation is supposed to be the same as that of the dark polymerization on the basis of the same solvent effect on the terpolymer composition, the rate of polymerization and the molecular weight of polymer. The experimental results suggest that the complex between sulfur dioxide and butene-1 or maleic anhydride and allyl chloride might be excited by ultraviolet light and the excited complex may participate in the terpolymerization.  相似文献

We have measured serum ferritin level using double antibody radioimmunoassay kit (Eiken ICL) and evaluated the characteristics of the kit and clinical usefulness. Satisfactory results were observed in standard curve, reproducibility, dilution and recovery test. In clinical evaluation, we have measured in normal subjects and patients with various diseases. The range in normal males and females were 13.0-158.7 ng/ml and 7.3-73.0 ng/ml, respectively. Serum ferritin level was elevated in patients with hepatoma, biliary cancer, lung cancer and other malignant diseases. Measurement of serum ferritin value would be useful in the monitoring of cancer patients.  相似文献

Mass transfer which affects the rate of propylene polymerization with titanium trichloride–triethylaluminum, has been evaluated by use of a new method developed for this heterogeneous reaction. The polymerization was carried out with the usual flask reactor equipped with a paddle stirrer; the rate of gas absorption into the polymerization slurry was proportional to stirring speed and the reciprocal of the total amount of polymers produced. It has been confirmed that the polymerization rate separated from the absorption rate is purely kinetic (propagation), and an effective physical process, such as monomer transfer through a polymer film covering the catalyst surface, no longer exists.  相似文献
