The oxidation of iron(II) with tert-butyl hydroperoxide was investigated in the absence of oxygen in water, methanol, and the dichloromethane—methanol solvent
mixture (φr = 2:1). The oxidation rate depends on solvent polarity; measured in the presence of SCN− at constant 0.8 mmol dm−3 HCl, the rate constant increases with the polarity decrease passing from water and methanol to the dichloromethane—methanol
solvent mixture. Further, in non-aqueous solutions at this acid concentration the rate constant was higher than the rate constant
in the presence of Cl− only. The oxidation rate measured in the [FeCl]2+ complex in dichloromethane—methanol was slow in acidic medium and increased by decreasing the acid concentration. Approaching
the physiological pH conditions the rate constant attained the value of an order of magnitude of 103 dm3 mol−1 s−1, while very little alteration of stoichiometry of the oxidation reaction was observed. The rate constant measured in the
presence of Cl− strongly depends on electrolyte concentration at concentrations less than 0.5 mmol dm−3 HCl, both in MeOH and the solvent mixture. Based on these results, a possible mechanism of the influence of solvent, acidity,
and ligand type on the rate constant is discussed. We assume that the oxidation proceeds by an inner-sphere mechanism considering
that the breakdown of the successor inner-sphere complex forming reactive alkoxyl radicals is probably the rate-limiting step.

Multi‐crystalline silicon solar cells with metal‐assisted nano‐texturing using HNO3 as hole injection agent 下载免费PDF全文
In this study, metal‐assisted etching (MAE) with nitric acid (HNO3) as a hole injecting agent has been employed to texture multi‐crystalline silicon wafers. It was previously proven that addition of HNO3 enabled control of surface texturing so as to form nano‐cone shaped structures rather than nanowires. The process parameters optimized for optically efficient texturing have been applied to multi‐crystalline wafers. Fabrication of p‐type Al:BSF cells have been carried out on textured samples with thermal SiO2/PECVD‐SiNx stack passivation and screen printed metallization. Firing process has been optimized in order to obtain the best contact formation. Finally, jsc enhancement of 0.9 mA/cm2 and 0.6% absolute increase in the efficiency have been achieved. This proves that the optimized MAE texture process can be successfully used in multi‐crystalline wafer texturing with standard passivation methods.

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) molecules act as a reducing and stabilizing agent in the formation of silver nanoparticles. PEG undergoes thermal oxidative degradation at temperatures over 70 °C in the presence of oxygen. Here, we studied how the temperature and an oxidizing atmosphere could affect the synthesis of silver nanoparticles with PEG. We tested different AgNO3 concentrations for nanoparticles syntheses using PEG of low molecular weight, at 60 and 100 °C. At the higher temperature, the reducing action of PEG increased and the effect of PEG/Ag+ ratio on nanoparticles aggregation changed. These results suggest that different synthesis mechanisms operate at 60 and 100 °C. Thus, at 60 °C the reduction of silver ions can occur through the oxidation of the hydroxyl groups of PEG, as has been previously reported. We propose that the thermal oxidative degradation of PEG at 100 °C increases the number of both, functional groups and molecules that can reduce silver ions and stabilize silver nanoparticles. This degradation process could explain the enhancement of PEG reducing action observed by other authors when they increase the reaction temperature or use a PEG of higher molecular weight 相似文献

ABSTRACT The asymptotic homogenization method is applied to complex dielectric periodic composites. An equivalence to coupled dielectric problems with real coefficients is shown. This is similar to a piezoelectric problem: an out-plane mechanical displacement and an in-plane electric potential establishing a correspondence principle. Closed-form formulas for the complex dielectric effective tensor in the case of a square array of circular inclusions embedded in a matrix are given. These formulas are written in terms of a real and symmetric matrix which facilitates the implementation of the computational scheme. We also get similar formulas for multilayered complex dielectric composites. The real closed-form formulas are advantageous for estimating gain and loss enhancement properties of active and passive composites in certain volume fraction intervals. Numerical computations are performed and the results are compared with other approaches showing the usefulness of the obtained formulas. This may be of interest in the context of metamaterials. 相似文献

Hexagonal mesostructured films containing silver ions were obtained by sol–gel method. Brij 58 was used to produce channels
into the film, which house these ions. The films were exposure to UV radiation to produced silver metallic nanoparticles.
The presence of the metallic nanoparticles was determined by infrared spectroscopy and optical absorption. Besides, these
nanoparticles and core–shell structures of silver–silver oxide nanoparticles were identified by high-resolution transmission
electronic microscopy. From these measurements, the obtained size range for silver nanoparticles was 6.1 nm. The absorption
spectrum located at 440 nm was modelled and well fitted with the Gans theory considering refractive index higher than the
one coming from host matrix. This index is explained because the silver oxide shell modifies the local surrounding medium

The photophysical properties of a series of structurally related 4-aminophthalimides and the corresponding 5-aminophthalic hydrazides (luminols) are reported. Absorption, steady-state, and time-resolved fluorescence spectra of luminols exhibited substitution, solvent, and pH dependence. Singlet lifetimes have been determined by time-resolved laser flash spectroscopy.
