The structural properties of Al isotopes are analysed using the relativistic mean field formalism with NL3 parameter set. The Glauber model technique is implemented to study the reaction dynamics for 23?28Al taking 12C as the target. The enhanced reaction cross section, high value of radius, narrow longitudinal momentum distribution and small proton separation energy of 23Al favours a proton halo structure for this nucleus. 相似文献

In this paper, we consider the Galerkin and collocation methods for the eigenvalue problem of a compact integral operator with a smooth kernel using the Legendre polynomials of degree ≤n. We prove that the error bounds for eigenvalues are of the order O(n−2r) and the gap between the spectral subspaces are of the orders O(n−r) in L2-norm and O(n1/2−r) in the infinity norm, where r denotes the smoothness of the kernel. By iterating the eigenvectors we show that the iterated eigenvectors converge with the orders of convergence O(n−2r) in both L2-norm and infinity norm. Ligands with a beta-diketone skeleton have been employed for the first time as reductant to produce ligand stabilized gold nanoparticles of different shapes from aqueous HAuCl(4) solution. Evolution of stable gold nanoparticles follows first order (k approximately equal to 10(-2) min(-1)) kinetics with respect to Au(0) concentration. Growth of particles of different shapes (spherical or triangular or hexagonal) goes hand in hand under the influence of different beta-diketones, which have excellent capping and reducing properties. The mechanism of ionization of an H atom interacting with intense laser electric fields is altered when a strong, oscillating magnetic field is applied along a direction parallel to the laser field. In this first study, these two strongly nonperturbative situations have been combined together and the corresponding time‐dependent (TD) Schrödinger equation has been numerically solved without using any basis set. The electric field arising out of the magnetic field and the magnetic field arising out of the laser electric field are found to be negligibly small, thereby not affecting the results. There are two main, apparently counter‐intuitive results from this study of parallel fields of the same frequency but different field strengths: (1) In presence of an oscillating magnetic field, the ionization rate due to the laser field diminishes, and (2) increasing the laser intensity, keeping the magnetic field strength the same, makes the electron density ionize with a lesser rate, in contrast to the situation with intense lasers in the absence of a strong TD magnetic field. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 相似文献

Gold nanoparticles of variable sizes have been synthesized in toluene employing two-phase (water-toluene) extraction of AuCl4- followed by its reduction with sodium borohydride in the presence of a series of cationic surfactants of a homologous series having the general formula C(n)TAC. The solubility features of the gold particles in the organic solvent have been accounted qualitatively by calculating the van der Waals interaction potential between the particles. The effect of thermal energy and medium dielectric constant on the stability of metal particles has been studied by measuring the surface plasmon resonance. The stabilization of surfactant-mediated gold particles as hydrosol or organosol has been elucidated by considering the double-layer interaction as a function of the dielectric constant of the solvent medium. The influence of the counterion of the phase transfer reagent and stabilizing ligand on the photochemical stability of the gold colloids has been investigated. The fluorescence probe 1-methylaminopyrene (MAP) was considered for the surface functionalization of the gold particles, and it has been found that there is an enhancement of molecular fluorescence from the gold-probe assembly. 相似文献

The calcium-substituted barium titanate ceramics were prepared by solid state reaction technique. High-energy ball-milling was used for processing the powder. The microstructure of Ba1−xCaxTiO3 ceramics was investigated by SEM techniques. The microstructure of Ba1−xCaxTiO3 ceramics shows dense and uniform micrograph in all samples and the grain size is large. In this study the quantitative analysis of the ceramographs is shown and the variation of the different parameters with various doping concentration is discussed. Compositional analysis is ascribed to the occupancy of some Ca2+ to the Ti4+ sites. 相似文献
