By the use of stochastic theory it is clearly shown that two types of emission should to fluctuations such as would occur during interactions with their environment are resonantly driven by light. In our approach the electromagnetic field is treated in a classical manner and decay is introduced by a Wigner-Weisskopfansatz. The two types of emission should occur for a three-level system and relaxation to other levels is not involved in the mechanism. Also included is a discussion of operational definitions of fluorescence (and other spontaneous emissions) and of the relationship between absorption and scattering in terms of dephasing or T2 processes, especially as this relates to conventional emission phenomena.  相似文献

Synthesis of amides from coupling esters with a range of primary amines can be conveniently achieved in moderate to excellent yields (69-99%) using an air-stable adduct of trimethylaluminium (AlMe3)2·DABCO (DABCO is 1,4-diazobicyclo[2.2.2]octane), referred to as DABAL-Me3. Reactions can be run without requiring the exclusion of atmospheric oxygen or the drying of solvents.  相似文献

A thermal study using DSC and Hot Stage Microscopy (HSM) was carried out to investigate the interaction in solid state of the binary system PEG 4000 — oxazepam, and to establish their phase diagram. The eutectic composition, which melting occurs at lower temperature as compared with the pure components, has been determined. The results obtained by DSC and HSM have indicated that PEG 4000 — oxazepam mixtures displays no obvious incompatibilities, and that the system shows a typical eutectic behaviour. However because of the closeness of the melting of PEG 4000 to the eutectic temperature, it was difficult to determine precisely the eutectic composition and temperature on the basis of DSC measurements alone. The use of heats of fusion corresponding to physical mixtures allowed an estimation of the eutectic composition at 6% w/w oxazepam. Additional information of temperature (57.6C) and composition (5–10% w/w oxazepam) of the eutectic was obtained by HSM using the contact method. This low melting temperature in this range of compositions offers advantages in terms of drug stability and easy manufacture.  相似文献

Raman spectra (4000-150 cm?1) of a single crystal of NaGa(NH2)4 and infrared spectra (4000-200 cm?1 ) of a polycrystalline sample have been studied at different temperatures. An assignment of the bands is given. The spectra are discussed assuming S4 and Td point group symmetry of the Ga(NH2)?4 ion at low temperature and at room temperature respectively. Metal-ligand and N-H stretching frequencies are compared to those of some other amido metalates.  相似文献

Couch and Torrence suggest that the vacuum Einstein equations admit a larger class of asymptotically flat solutions than those exhibiting the peeling property. Starting with the assumption that , (d/dr) and (/x A ) , wherex A (A = 2, 3) are angular coordinates, they show that , where 1 2 and 1<0; , where 2 1 and 1< 1; and 4 and 3 peel as they would under the stronger peeling conditions. The Winicour-Tamburino energy-momentun and angular momentum integrals for these solutions, in general, diverge. In fact, since Couch and Torrence determine only the radial dependence of the solution, it is not clear that the solutions are well defined. We find that the stronger assumption , (d/dr) , and (/x A ) does result in well-defined solutions for which both the energy-momentum and angular momentum intergrals are not only finite but result in the same expressions as are obtained for peeling space-times. This assumption appears to be the minimal assumption that is necessary for investigating outgoing radiation at null infinity.In part based on a dissertation by Stephanie Novak and submitted to Syracuse University in partial fulfillment of the requirement for the Ph.D. degree.  相似文献

Spectra of second-order Raman scattering in porous silicon are investigated. A band shift towards lower energies in second-order spectra is observed, as well as the correlation between the values of band shift in first-and second-order spectra. It is demonstrated that the observed effect cannot be interpreted using the conventional concepts of the mechanisms of scattering in microcrystalline samples. An interpretation of the revealed effect is suggested.  相似文献

This article presents a measuring method for determination of convective heat transfer in rotating environments. The method is used to obtain temperature and Nusselt number distributions on optically accessible objects inside real operating environments, without the need for implementation of complex surface heat flux measurements. Temperature maps of the observed surfaces are acquired non-intrusively by infrared (IR) thermography, whereas heat flux data is computed numerically by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools. The method was employed on a rotating hollow blade, heated internally by secondary air flow. Experimental and numerical results for the observed blade side are compared in terms of surface temperature 2D distributions. Temperature distributions are further statistically evaluated and show good agreement, which is the basic precondition for combining experimental and numerical data by the method. Results are presented in terms of combined experimental-numerical Nusselt number shown as two-dimensional distribution on the blade pressure side.  相似文献

We have used a variety of microscopic techniques to reveal the structure and motion of flux line arrangements, when the flux lines in low T c type II superconductors are caused to move by a transport current. Using small-angle neutron scattering by the flux line lattice (FLL), we are able to demonstrate directly the alignment by motion of the nearest-neighbor FLL direction. This tends to be parallel to the direction of flux line motion, as had been suspected from two-dimensional simulations. We also see the destruction of the ordered FLL by plastic flow and the bending of flux lines. Another technique that our collaboration has employed is the direct measurement of flux line motion, using the ultra-high-resolution spectroscopy of the neutron spin-echo technique to observe the energy change of neutrons diffracted by moving flux lines. The muon spin rotation (μSR) technique gives the distribution of values of magnetic field within the FLL. We have recently succeeded in performing μSR measurements while the FLL is moving. Such measurements give complementary information about the local speed and orientation of the FLL motion. We conclude by discussing the possible application of this technique to thin film superconductors.  相似文献

Our work presents a theoretical analysis of aberration properties of a simple single-channel deformable mirror from both the aspect of modeling the shape of the mirror reflecting surface and the mechanisms of wave-front correction using such mirror. The proposed mirror can be used for a compensation of rotationally symmetrical wavefronts, e.g. focusing of optical beams, adaptive change of resonator parameters in laser technology, phase shifting, etc. The detailed analysis of possibilities of wave-front correction was performed.  相似文献
