The crystal and molecular structure of a new azetidine-2-carboxylic amide derivative is described. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by least squares methods toR1=0.0393 for 4264 reflections (withI>2(I)) The structure consists of two independent molecules which are chemically the same with slight differences in geometry. The paper contributes to the identification of different corrosion products detected on the cross-section specimens sampled from Bronze Age swords and one helmet found between 60–160 years ago. The objects are kept in 1889 built oak showcases at the Natural History Museum Vienna, having suffered unknown restoration treatments. The identified corrosion products not only affect further eventual treatment in conservation science of copper base objects but also contribute to identify the often unknown find context, which is meant to facilitate archaeological interpretation of the Bronze Age weapons. The analyses of the samples were carried out using SEM-EDXS-EBSD and optical microscopy.  相似文献

A model for predicting the shapes of Doppler-broadened spectral lines due to de-excitation by photon emission of excited neutral atoms backscattered from solids is presented. The distribution of backscattered particles is calculated on the basis of single Rutherford collisions within the solid accompanied by energy loss due to electronic stopping during passage of the particle through the solid. The effect of the energy dependence of the stopping power, radiationless de-excitation of the escaping neutral atom and the probability of the particle leaving the surface in the desired excited state are incorporated into the calculation. The broadening of the spectral line is determined by combining the Doppler shift formula with the energy- and angular distribution of the backscattered particles.  相似文献

It is obtained that, as grown, non-irradiated stishovite single crystals possess a luminescence center. Three excimer pulsed lasers (KrF, 248 nm; ArF, 193 nm; F2, 157 nm) were used for photoluminescence (PL) excitation. Two PL bands were observed. One, in UV range with the maximum at 4.7±0.1 eV with FWHM equal to 0.95±0.1 eV, mainly is seen under ArF laser. Another, in blue range with the maximum at 3±0.2 eV with FWHM equal to 0.8±0.2 eV, is seen under all three lasers. The UV band main fast component of decay is with time constant τ=1.2±0.1 ns for the range of temperatures 16-150 K. The blue band decay possesses fast and slow components. The fast component of the blue band decay is about 1.2 ns. The slow component of the blue band well corresponds to exponent with time constant equal to 17±1 μs within the temperature range 16-200 K. deviations from exponential decay were observed as well and explained by influence of nearest interstitial OH groups on the luminescence center. The UV band was not detected for F2 laser excitation. For the case of KrF laser only a structure less tail up to 4.6 eV was detected. Both the UV and the blue bands were also found in recombination process with two components having characteristic time about 1 and 60 μs. For blue band recombination luminescence decay is lasting to ms range of time with power law decay ∼t−1.For the case of X-ray excitation the luminescence intensity exhibits strong drop down above 100 K. such an effect does not take place in the case of photoexcitation with lasers. The activation energies for both cases are different as well. Average value of that is 0.03±0.01 eV for the case of X-ray luminescence and it is 0.15±0.05 eV for the case of PL. So, the processes of thermal quenching are different for these kinds of excitation and, probably, are related to interaction of the luminescence center with OH groups.Stishovite crystal irradiated with pulses of electron beam (270 kV, 200 A, 10 ns) demonstrates a decrease of luminescence intensity excited with X-ray. So, irradiation with electron beam shows on destruction of luminescent defects.The nature of luminescence excited in the transparency range of stishovite is ascribed to a defect existing in the crystal after growth. Similarity of the stishovite luminescence with that of oxygen deficient silica glass and induced by radiation luminescence of α-quartz crystal presumes similar nature of centers in those materials.  相似文献

Dipolar filters select 1H magnetization according to local dipolar dephasing, which corresponds to site mobility in systems with heterogeneous molecular mobility. Combined with a conventional exchange experiment, it is usually applied to polymeric samples exhibiting structures on the nanometer length scale associated with a strong dynamic contrast. There, the resulting 1H nuclear spin diffusion experiment yields the size of the structure. When the same experiment is applied to homopolymer melts exhibiting a weak dynamic contrast and dynamic heterogeneities on significant shorter length scales, the recorded magnetization decay is in agreement with decays expected from a heterogeneous nanostructure. However, dipolar filters actually can also select mobile parts of the repeat unit, e.g. the end of the alkyl side chains and the subsequent magnetization transfer then can occur via cross relaxation due to non coherent zero-quantum transitions (nuclear Overhauser effect, NOE). The difficulties of distinguishing these two cases are examined and it is demonstrated that NOE experiments exploiting magnetization selection via the dipolar filter allow quantifying the local dynamics of the side chains. This opens new possibilities for measurements of local dynamics in non isotopically labeled homopolymer melts.  相似文献

Subject-level resting-state fMRI (RS-fMRI) spatial independent component analysis (sICA) may provide new ways to analyze the data when performed in the sliding time window. However, whether principal component analysis (PCA) and voxel-wise variance normalization (VN) are applicable pre-processing procedures in the sliding-window context, as they are for regular sICA, has not been addressed so far. Also model order selection requires further studies concerning sliding-window sICA. In this paper we have addressed these concerns. First, we compared PCA-retained subspaces concerning overlapping parts of consecutive temporal windows to answer whether in-window PCA and VN can confound comparisons between sICA analyses in consecutive windows. Second, we compared the PCA subspaces between windowed and full data to assess expected comparability between windowed and full-data sICA results. Third, temporal evolution of dimensionality estimates in RS-fMRI data sets was monitored to identify potential challenges in model order selection in a sliding-window sICA context. Our results illustrate that in-window VN can be safely used, in-window PCA is applicable with most window widths and that comparisons between windowed and full data should not be performed from a subspace similarity point of view. In addition, our studies on dimensionality estimates demonstrated that there are sustained, periodic and very case-specific changes in signal-to-noise ratio within RS-fMRI data sets. Consequently, dimensionality estimation is needed for well-founded model order determination in the sliding-window case. The observed periodic changes correspond to a frequency band of ≤ 0.1 Hz, which is commonly associated with brain activity in RS-fMRI and become on average most pronounced at window widths of 80 and 60 time points (144 and 108 s, respectively). Wider windows provided only slightly better comparability between consecutive windows, and 60 time point or shorter windows also provided the best comparability with full-data results. Further studies are needed to determine the cause for dimensionality variations.  相似文献

We present the results of a large-scale study on speech perception, assessing the number and type of perceptual hypotheses which listeners entertain about possible phoneme sequences in their language. Dutch listeners were asked to identify gated fragments of all 1179 diphones of Dutch, providing a total of 488,520 phoneme categorizations. The results manifest orderly uptake of acoustic information in the signal. Differences across phonemes in the rate at which fully correct recognition was achieved arose as a result of whether or not potential confusions could occur with other phonemes of the language (long with short vowels, affricates with their initial components, etc.). These data can be used to improve models of how acoustic-phonetic information is mapped onto the mental lexicon during speech comprehension.  相似文献

The intensive use of nano-sized titanium dioxide (TiO2) particles in many different applications necessitates studies on their risk assessment as there are still open questions on their safe handling and utilization. For reliable risk assessment, the interaction of TiO2 nanoparticles (NP) with biological systems ideally needs to be investigated using physico-chemically uniform and well-characterized NP. In this article, we describe the reproducible production of TiO2 NP aerosols using spark ignition technology. Because currently no data are available on inhaled NP in the 10?C50 nm diameter range, the emphasis was to generate NP as small as 20 nm for inhalation studies in rodents. For anticipated in vivo dosimetry analyses, TiO2 NP were radiolabeled with 48V by proton irradiation of the titanium electrodes of the spark generator. The dissolution rate of the 48V label was about 1% within the first day. The highly concentrated, polydisperse TiO2 NP aerosol (3?C6 × 106 cm?3) proved to be constant over several hours in terms of its count median mobility diameter, its geometric standard deviation, and number concentration. Extensive characterization of NP chemical composition, physical structure, morphology, and specific surface area was performed. The originally generated amorphous TiO2 NP were converted into crystalline anatase TiO2 NP by thermal annealing at 950 °C. Both crystalline and amorphous 20-nm TiO2 NP were chain agglomerated/aggregated, consisting of primary particles in the range of 5 nm. Disintegration of the deposited TiO2 NP in lung tissue was not detectable within 24 h.  相似文献
