Three new diterpenoids with a substituted α-cyclogeraniol skeleton have been isolated from the umbelliferae (Vahl) Lange, for which the names of magydar-2,13-dien-11,17-diol, , magydar-2,10 (20), 13-trien-17-ol, , and magydar-2,10(20), 13-trien-17-yl acetate, , are proposed. Medium energy ion scattering (MEIS) measurements and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations are applied to characterize a buried Pb nanoparticle (NP) system synthesized by ion implantation. The NPs are located at the SiO2/Si film interface, forming a dense two-dimensional array. Full 2D (energy and angle) experimental MEIS spectra are compared with Monte Carlo simulated ones. The results demonstrate that MEIS measurements provide microstructural information (mean NP volume of about 150 nm3 and areal density of about 4 × 1011 NP/cm2), but no accurate information on the NP geometrical shape. 相似文献

The domain structure of a magnetostrictive Fe40Ni38Mo4B18 amorphous ribbon has been studied using magnetic force microscopy (MFM) at room temperature. First, the evolution of the magnetic domain patterns as a function of the annealing temperature has been investigated. In samples heat treated at 250 and 450 °C for 1 h, a transformation from 90° to 180° domain wall has been clearly observed, while the sample heat treated at 700 °C for 1 h showed a magnetic phase fixed by the crystalline anisotropy. Additionally, the evolution of the magnetic domain structure by applying a DC current was recorded by the MFM technique. For current annealed samples at 1 A for 1, 30 and 60 min, a transformation between different domain patterns has been observed. Finally, in samples treated by the current annealing method under simultaneous stress, an increase of the annealing time gives rise to a different magnetic structure arising from the development of transverse magnetic anisotropy. 相似文献

A new strategy is demonstrated for the synthesis of warped, negatively curved, all‐sp2‐carbon π‐scaffolds. Multifold C?C coupling reactions are used to transform a polyaromatic borinic acid into a saddle‐shaped polyaromatic hydrocarbon ( 2 ) bearing two heptagonal rings. Notably, this Schwarzite substructure is synthesized in only two steps from an unfunctionalized alkene. A highly warped structure of 2 was revealed by X‐ray crystallographic studies and pronounced flexibility of this π‐scaffold was ascertained by experimental and computational studies. Compound 2 exhibits excellent solubility, visible range absorption and fluorescence, and readily undergoes two reversible one‐electron oxidations at mild potentials. 相似文献

Following a similar approach on carvacrol-based derivatives, we investigated the synthesis and the microbiological screening against eight strains of H. pylori, and the cytotoxic activity against human gastric adenocarcinoma (AGS) cells of a new series of ether compounds based on the structure of thymol. Structural analysis comprehended elemental analysis and 1H/13C/19F NMR spectra. The analysis of structure–activity relationships within this molecular library of 38 structurally-related compounds reported that some chemical modifications of the OH group of thymol led to broad-spectrum growth inhibition on all isolates. Preferred substitutions were benzyl groups compared to alkyl chains, and the specific presence of functional groups at para position of the benzyl moiety such as 4-CN and 4-Ph endowed the most anti-H. pylori activity toward all the strains with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values up to 4 µg/mL. Poly-substitution on the benzyl ring was not essential. Moreover, several compounds characterized by the lowest minimum inhibitory concentration/minimum bactericidal concentration (MIC/MBC) values against H. pylori were also tested in order to verify a cytotoxic effect against AGS cells with respect to 5-fluorouracil and carvacrol. Three derivatives can be considered as new lead compounds alternative to current therapy to manage H. pylori infection, preventing the occurrence of severe gastric diseases. Medium-energy ion scattering (MEIS) has been used for quantitative depth profiling with single atomic layer resolution to determine the composition, thickness, and interface structure of ultrathin films and nanoparticles. To assure the consistency of the MEIS analysis, an international round-robin test (RRT) with nominally 1-, 3-, 5-, and 7-nm thick HfO2 films was conducted among 12 institutions. The measurements were performed at each participating laboratory under their own conditions, and the collected data were analyzed. For the data analysis, the Moliere potential, the stopping and range of ions in matter (SRIM) 95 and new fitted electronic stopping power and the Chu straggling were used. For analyzing the MEIS data from the magnetic sector and electrostatic analyzers, the neutralization corrections of Marion and Young for 100-keV H+ and He+ ions and of Armstrong for 400- to 500-keV He+ ions were used. The standard deviations were 5.3% for the composition, 15.3% for the thickness, and 13.3% for the Hf content, and they were improved to 7.3%, 4.5%, and 7.0% by using refitted electronic stopping powers based on the experimental data. Hence, this study suggests that correct electronic stopping powers are critical for quantitative MEIS analysis. 相似文献

The reduction of 4,4′-bipyridine (BPH2+2) on mercury in an acid medium gives a very narrow sharp tail-less reversible voltammetric peak that can be ascribed to the formation of a two-dimensional (2D) phase of the cation radical BPH·+2 at the electrode according to the reaction The corresponding oxidation peak possesses similar properties and arises from the destruction (fusion) of the 2D phase.In this work we studied the influence of some experimental variables, namely the type of anion present in the medium, the concentration of 4,4′-bipyridine and temperature on the 2D phase transition peaks. G-quadruplexes (G4s) are peculiar DNA or RNA tertiary structures that are involved in the regulation of many biological events within mammalian cells, bacteria, and viruses. Although their role as versatile therapeutic targets has been emphasized for 35 years, G4 selectivity over ubiquitous double-stranded DNA/RNA, as well as G4 differentiation by small molecules, still remains challenging. Here, a new amphiphilic dicyanovinyl-substituted squaraine, SQgl , is reported to act as an NIR fluorescent light-up probe discriminating an extensive panel of parallel G4s while it is non-fluorescent in the aggregated state. The squaraine can form an unconventional sandwich π-complex binding two quadruplexes, which leads to a strongly fluorescent (ΦF=0.61) supramolecular architecture. SQgl is highly selective against non-quadruplex and non-parallel G4 sequences without altering their topology, as desired for applications in selective in vivo high-resolution imaging and theranostics. 相似文献
