The polymeric p-benzoquinone-tin derivatives obtained from the reaction of p-benzoquinone with tin tetrachloride in the absence of solvent have been investigated as thermal stabilizers for rigid PVC at 200°C by measuring the rate of dehydrochlorination. The results reveal the greater stabilizing efficiency of the investigated products in relation to dibutyltin maleate and the basic lead stabilizers commonly used in industry. Evidence has been accumulated that the quinone and metallic elements (Sn? Sn bonds) of the stabilizer participate in the stabilization process by trapping the radical intermediates of degradation and blocking the odd electron sites formed on the polymer chains. Although stabilizers with high quinone content provide greater stabilization in the early stages of degradation, their efficiency sharply decreases in subsequent stages. On the other hand, stabilizers of high tin content effectively prohibit the dehydrochlorination reaction at all stages of degradation. On an equivalent basis of metal content, the results clearly demonstrate the greater stabilizing efficiency of tin atoms when found in direct contact in the stabilizer molecule. The mechanism of stabilization suggested to account for the results obtained may be considered as additional evidence in support of the radical nature of the dehydrochlorination reaction.  相似文献

In this work we introduce a model of the boundary layer equations for a perfect conducting micropolar fluid with stretch, bounded by an infinite vertical flat plane surface of a constant temperature. This model is applied to study the effects of free convection currents on the flow of the fluid in the presence of a constant magnetic field. The state space technique is adopted for the solution of a one‐dimensional problem for any set of boundary conditions. The resulting formulation together with the Laplace transform techniques are applied to a thermal shock problem. The inversion of the Laplace transforms is carried out using a numerical approach. Abstract

Poly(viny1 chloride) (PVC) has many desirable characteristics that have allowed it to achieve its present status as one of the most important commercial polymers. In spite of its enormous technical and economic importance, PVC still possesses many problems. Its rather low stability to the influence of heat and light results in discoloration, hydrogen chloride loss, and serious corrosion phenomena [1], accompanied by changes in the mechanical properties of the article together with a decrease or an increase in molecular weight as a result of chain sassion or crosslinking of the polymer molecules, respectively [2].  相似文献

A series of new 1,2,4-triazole-3-thiones were synthesized by calm, benign, no risk, eco-friendly, and energy efficient sequential reaction methodology like grinding and ultrasonic (US). In addition, 1,2,4-triazoles were prepared under conventional method and comparative study was done. The synthesized 1,2,4-triazoles were complexed with Ni(II) to produce nanoparticles complexes (NPC's) with average particle size vary from 55 to 100 nm (using scanning electron microscope technique) with good yields via both US and conventional techniques. X-ray diffraction technique and spectra analysis techniques were used to confirm the square planer geometry of the synthesized NPC's. Antimicrobial activity of the prepared 1,2,4-triazoles and their nickel complexes were studied which evaluated a high activity with complexes instead their triazoles.  相似文献

In this paper, a new technique of homotopy analysis method (HAM) is proposed for solving high‐order nonlinear initial value problems. This method improves the convergence of the series solution, eliminates the unneeded terms and reduces time consuming in the standard homotopy analysis method (HAM) by transform the nth‐order nonlinear differential equation to a system of n first‐order equations. Because of the close structural similarity between triazoloquinazolines and certain 5-membered ring mesoionic heterocycles, all of which possess antiinflammatory activity, we prepared several examples of the novel mesoionic 1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-c]quinazoline ring system for their therapeutic potential. These compounds can be prepared by the cyclization of the appropriately substituted 4-hydrazinoquinazolines with phosgene. When the mesoionic product was unsubstituted at the 5-position (i.e., quinazoline 2-position), it could only be isolated as its hydrochloride salt and not as its unstable free base. None of the mesoionic products were sufficiently stable in solution to allow for evaluation of their antiinflammatory activity.  相似文献

The synthesis of [2.2](2,6,2',7')naphthalenophane -1,11 - diene 4 has been effected by pyrolysis of the bis-sulphoxide 10, in turn prepared by a ring-contraction procedure of the [3.3]dithiacyclophane 7. The diene 4 has been fully characterized by spectroscopic and chemical methods. The variable-temperature 1H NMR spectra of the diene 4 indicated that the compound undergoes conformational flipping in solution and has a conformational energy barrier ΔG25°. 14.9 kcal mol-1 and a coalescence temperature Tc 38° for the internal protons Hc and Hc' (at 100 MHz). These results differ from those previously recorded. A complete assignment of the pmr spectrum of the cyclophane diene 4 at 270 MHz is presented together with the spectrum of the corresponding saturated [2.2]cyclophane 3.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of several 3-aryl-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-c]quinazolines is described. The first step comprises the condensation of aromatic aldehydes with 2-(H or Cl)-4-hydrazinoquinazolines 2 to afford the corresponding hydrazones 3 . The second step involves the cyclization to the title compounds 4 in bromine/acetic acid. Reaction of 4 (X = Cl) with cyclic amines gave the corresponding 5-cyclicamino 5 or 5-alkoxy derivatives 6 .  相似文献

The effect of an externally applied electric field on the stability of a thin fluid film over an inclined porous plane is analyzed using linear and non-linear stability analysis in the long wave limit. The principle aim of this study is to illustrate the influence of electric field on the non-linear stability of a thin liquid layer flow down incline substrate when the plane is porous. The driving force for the instability under an electric field is an electrostatic force exerted on the free charges accumulated at the dividing interface. The coupled non-linear evolution equations for the local film thickness and the interfacial charge for two-dimensional disturbances are derived to analyze the effect of long-wave instabilities. The method of multiple scales is applied to obtain approximate solutions and analyze the stability criteria. Numerical simulations of this system of non-linear evolution equations are performed. It is found that the permeability parameter as well as the inclination of the plane plays a destabilizing role in the stability criteria, while the damping influence is observed for increasing of the electrical conductivity in both linear and non-linear behavior.  相似文献
