The catalytic activity of the systems based on titanium(iv) alkoxides (Ti(OPri)4, Ti(OPri)2(OCH(CF3)2)2, and Ti(OCH(CF3)2)4) and mixtures of alkylaluminum chlorides (Et2AlCl or Et3Al2Cl3) with dibutylmagnesium in ethylene polymerization and ethylene copolymerization with propylene and 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene was studied. Ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene with the molecular weight reaching 4.9 · 106 Da was found to be formed in the homopolymerization reaction, whereas copolymerization gives ter-copolymers containing propylene (up to 35 mol.%) and 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene (4.3 mol.%) units.

Oncogenic RAS proteins, involved in ∼30% of human tumors, are molecular switches of various signal transduction pathways. Here we apply a new protocol for the NMR study of KRAS in its (inactive) GDP- and (activated) GTP-bound form, allowing a comprehensive analysis of the backbone dynamics of its WT-, G12C- and G12D variants. We found that Tyr32 shows opposite mobility with respect to the backbone of its surroundings: it is more flexible in the GDP-bound form while more rigid in GTP-complexes (especially in WT- and G12D-GTP). Using the G12C/Y32F double mutant, we showed that the presence of the hydroxyl group of Tyr32 has a marked effect on the G12C-KRAS-GTP system as well. Molecular dynamics simulations indicate that Tyr32 is linked to the γ-phosphate of GTP in the activated states – an arrangement shown, using QM/MM calculations, to support catalysis. Anchoring Tyr32 to the γ-phosphate contributes to the capture of the catalytic waters participating in the intrinsic hydrolysis of GTP and supports a simultaneous triple proton transfer step (catalytic water → assisting water → Tyr32 → O1G of the γ-phosphate) leading to straightforward product formation. The coupled flip of negatively charged residues of switch I toward the inside of the effector binding pocket potentiates ligand recognition, while positioning of Thr35 to enter the coordination sphere of the Mg2+ widens the pocket. Position 12 mutations do not disturb the capture of Tyr32 by the γ-phosphate, but (partially) displace Gln61, which opens up the catalytic pocket and destabilizes catalytic water molecules thus impairing intrinsic hydrolysis.Nucleotide exchange to the physiological, activated, GTP-bound form of KRAS results in the anchoring of Tyr32 within the active site. 相似文献

The reactivity of amidinatotetrylenes of the type E(tBu2bzm)R1 (E=Si, Ge; tBu2bzm=N,N′-bis(tertbutyl)benzamidinate; R1=alkyl or aryl) with the chromium Fischer alkynylcarbene complexes [Cr{C(OEt)C2R2}(CO)5] (R2=Ph; ferrocenyl, Fc) has been studied. At room temperature, two different reaction pathways have been identified: (a) attack of the amidinatotetrylene to the alkynyl C2 atom (γ-attack), which leads to σ-allenyl complexes in which the original Ccarbene atom maintains its attachment to the Cr(CO)5 and OEt groups (compounds 3 ), and (b) attack of the amidinatotetrylene to the Ccarbene atom (α-attack), which ends in σ-allenyl complexes in which the original Ccarbene atom is not attached to the metal atom and has been inserted into an E−N bond of the amidinatotetrylene forming an E-C-N-C-N five-membered ring (compounds 4 ). It has been found that compounds 3 are thermodynamically less stable than their corresponding 4 isomers and that some of the former (E=Ge; R1=CH2SiMe3) can be transformed into the latter upon heating. At high temperatures (>70 °C) the reactions involving bulky amidinatotetrylenes (R1=Mes, tBu) end in the carbene-substitution products [Cr{E(tBu2bzm)R1}(CO)5]. 相似文献

The role of singlet oxygen potentially mediating increased conformational flexibility of a disulfide was investigated. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations indicate that the singlet oxygenation of 1,2-dimethyldisulfane produces a peroxy intermediate. This intermediate adopts a structure with a longer S–S bond distance and a more planar torsional angle θ (C–S–S–C) compared with the nonoxygenated 1,2-dimethyldisulfane. The lengthened S–S bond enables a facile rotation about the torsional angle in the semicircle region 0° < θ < 210°, that is ~5 kcal mol−1 lower in energy than the disulfane. The peroxy intermediate bears nO → σS–S and nO → σ*S–S interactions that stabilize the S–O bond but destabilize the S–S bond, which contrasts with stabilizing nS → σ*S–S hyperconjugative effects in the disulfane S–S bond. Subsequent departure of O2 from the disulfane peroxy intermediate is reminiscent of peroxy intermediates which also expel O2, yet facilitate cis-trans isomerizations of stilbenes, hexadienes, cyanines, and carotenes. “Non-oxidative” 1O2 interactions with a variety of bond types are currently underappreciated. Study on degradation behaviors of biodegradable poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) (PBAT) blended with different compositions of thermoplastic starch (TPS) under soil burial and natural weathering environments is vital in order to predict the product service-life and planning for in situ biodegradation after product disposal. In this article, different compositions of TPS (0%, 20%, 40%, 50%, and 60%) were compounded with PBAT using single screw extruder. The samples were characterized for their tensile properties, fractured surface morphology, water barrier and surface hydrophorbicity properties in order to investigate the effect of starch fractions in PBAT blends. The degradation behavior under natural weathering and soil burial conditions was also determined during the 9 months duration by observing the change of physical appearance, weight loss, surface morphology, chemical structural, and tensile properties. The findings showed that the addition of TPS (20%, 40%, 50%, and 60%) had led to a reduction in tensile strength (41.47%, 60.53%, 63.43%, and 68.53%), and reduction in elongation at break (42.92%, 92.1%, 92.23%, and 93.22%, respectively) and water barrier properties. The findings also showed that there were distinct degradation behavior under both conditions. Upon exposure to natural weathering, photodegradation and Norrish type I & II occurred whereas under the soil burial condition, hydrolytic, and enzymatic degradation take places. Sample with the highest starch contents underwent the highest weight loss and reduction in tensile properties under both environments. The findings in this study are useful in order to investigate the feasibility of PBAT/Tapioca starch blends for biodegradable plastic film for various industrial applications especially in packaging and agricultural mulch. 相似文献
