The oxygen reaction at the interface LaF3(CeF3)|electrode,O2(g) is studied in air on Pt and C electrodes and electrodes modified by supported oxides of Co, Sr, and/or La on C, Si, or Pt substrates. The experimental methods used are voltammetry with a linear potential change and stripping voltammetry and cyclic voltammetry. The voltammetric response is dependent on the nature of solid electrolyte and electrode, the balance between the substrate and active agent, and on the conditions of thermal treatment of electrodes. In this work, we investigated the stoichiometry of oxygen precipitates in Czochralski silicon wafers. The thickness dependence of the Cliff–Lorimer sensitivity factor for the silicon/oxygen system was determined and applied for the investigation of the stoichiometry of oxygen precipitates by EDX. The results show that both plate‐like oxygen precipitates and a transitional form between plate‐like and octahedral precipi‐ tates consist of SiO2. This was confirmed by EELS low loss spectra where the typical spectrum for amorphous SiO2 was observed. Moreover, the absorption band of plate‐like precipitates at 1227 cm–1 was found in the low temperature FTIR spectrum. The electrochemical processes at the interface between solid fluorine-conducting electrolyte LaF3(Eu2+ 0.8 mol %) and silver or bismuth electrodes in the two-electrode cell with nonpolarizable reference electrode are studied using the galvanostatic method. The anodic galvanostatic transients of LaF3: Eu2+/Ag and LaF3: Eu2+/Bi interfaces are linearized on the log(η ? ηmax), vs. t coordinates, i.e. the rate of LaF3|MF n |M electrode formation is limited by slow surface diffusion of metal adions. The initial portions of cathodic galvanostatic transients in the range of solid-electrolyte lanthanum reduction are approximated by the linear dependence of η on log(1 ? √t/τ). The plots of logI vs. 1/η are linear both for the lanthanum reduction and for silver and bismuth oxidation involving mobile fluoride ion of solid electrolyte, which is typical for two-dimensional growth of new phase. 相似文献

A facile synthetic route to N-polyfluoro(trimethylsilyl)ethyl azole derivatives was developed starting from N-bromo(chloro)polyfluoroethyl-substituted azoles. The surface properties of aqueous 2-fluoro-, 2-chloro-, 2-bromoethanol-ethanol mixtures were studied by surface tension measurements, applying the drop weight method, and by surface potential using the flowing jet method. The addition of ethanol to 2-halogenoethanol solutions causes a synergetic effect on surface tension. In the case of surface potential the synergetic influence exists only in the mixtures of ethanol-2-fluoroethanol. The studies on the surface interactions of the adsorbed molecules of particular components in the mixed film were carried out by the Rosen and Hua method. The aim of this study was to minimize the risk of life-threatening thromboembolism in the ventricle through the use of a new biomimetic heart valve based on metal–polymer composites. Finite volume element simulations of blood adhesion to the material were carried out, encompassing radial flow and the cone and plane test together with determination of the effect of boundary conditions. Both tilt-disc and bicuspid valves do not have optimized blood flow due to their design based on rigid valve materials (leaflet made of pyrolytic carbon). The main objective was the development of materials with specific properties dedicated to contact with blood. Materials were evaluated by dynamic tests using blood, concentrates, and whole human blood. Hemostability tests under hydrodynamic conditions were related to the mechanical properties of thin-film materials obtained from tribological tests. The quality of the coatings was high enough to avoid damage to the coating even as they were exposed up to maximum loading. Analysis towards blood concentrates of the hydrogenated carbon sample and the nitrogen-doped hydrogenated carbon sample revealed that the interaction of the coating with erythrocytes was the strongest. Hemocompatibility evaluation under hydrodynamic conditions confirmed very good properties of the developed coatings. 相似文献
