Abstract The present article gives an overview of recent publications and modern techniques of sample preparation for food analysis employing atomic and inorganic mass spectrometric techniques, such as flame atomic absorption spectrometry, chemical vapor generation atomic absorption and atomic fluorescence spectrometry, graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry, and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Among the most frequently applied sample preparation techniques for food analysis are dry ashing, usually with the addition of an ashing aid, and acid digestion, preferably with the assistance of microwave energy. Slurry preparation, particularly with the assistance of ultrasound, is increasingly used to reduce acid consumption and sample preparation time. Direct analysis of solid samples is gaining importance in the field of food analysis as it offers the highest sensitivity, avoids the use of acids and other aggressive reagents, makes possible the analysis of micro‐samples, and can be applied for fast screening analysis, e.g., of fresh meat. 相似文献

We have generated and applied noncoherent x-ray radiation in an all-solid-state laser system operating at repetition rates up to 20 kHz. Based on a model that takes into account the strong thermal loading of the Ti:sapphire rod, a laser cavity with low sensitivity to thermal lensing was chosen. With a maximum pump power of 80 W, an output power as high as 27 W was obtained in gain-switched operation, and, with a seeding from a femtosecond oscillator, 60-fs, 0.8-mJ (8-W) pulses at 10 kHz and 0.32-mJ (6.5-W) pulses at 20 kHz were generated. High power femtosecond output was used to generate x-ray continuum radiation up to 5 keV from a liquid-gallium jet target. 相似文献

Electron emission for single ionization of Ne by 25 fs, 1.0 PW/cm(2) laser pulses at 800 nm has been investigated in a kinematically complete experiment using a "reaction microscope." Mapping the complete final state momentum space with high resolution, a distinct local minimum is observed at P(e parallel )=0, where P(e parallel ) is the electron momentum parallel to the laser polarization. Whereas tunneling theory predicts a maximum at zero momentum, our findings are in good agreement with recent semiclassical predictions which were interpreted to be due to "recollision." 相似文献

We present a photoluminescence study of single‐layer MoS2 flakes on SiO2 surfaces. We demonstrate that the luminescence peak position of flakes prepared from natural MoS2, which varies by up to 25 meV between individual flakes, can be homogenized by annealing in vacuum. We use HfO2 and Al2O3 layers prepared by atomic layer deposition to cover some of our flakes. In these flakes, we observe a suppression of the low‐energy luminescence peak which appears in asprepared flakes at low temperatures. We infer that this peak originates from excitons bound to surface adsorbates. We also observe different temperature‐induced shifts of the luminescence peaks for the oxide‐covered flakes. This effect stems from the different thermal expansion coefficients of the oxide layers and the MoS2 flakes. Near infrared emission caused by ultrasonic excitation is demonstrated for the first time in this work. The instrument is constituted of an acousto-optical tunable filter-based spectrometer, an ultrasonic processor connected to a titanium alloy ultrasonic probe and a cylindrical borosilicate flask containing the sample to be excited. The radiation emitted by the sample is collected by a concave mirror and sent to the spectrometer. The effects of the position of the probe extremity in relation to a lateral entrance of the borosilicate flask and of the ultrasonic power on the emission signal were studied. The best results were obtained by positioning the probe extremity up to 2mm from the reflexive body (lateral entrance) using 30% of the full ultrasonic incident power and acquiring spectra after 5 min of sonication. The NIR emission spectra resulting from the ultrasonic excitation were in agreement with that obtained by thermal excitation. The proposed technique was utilized to study different poly(dimethylsiloxane) samples having different viscosities. 相似文献

We report on an experimental study of supercontinuum generation in photonic crystal fibers with low-intensity femtosecond pulses, which provides evidence for a novel spectral broadening mechanism. The observed results agree with our theoretical calculations carried out without making the slowly varying envelope approximation. Peculiarities of the measured spectra and their theoretical explanation demonstrate that the reason for the white-light generation in photonic crystal fibers is fission of higher-order solitons into redshifted fundamental solitons and blueshifted nonsolitonic radiation. 相似文献
