Broadband, time-resolved optical waveguide (OWG) spectroscopy has been used for in situ, real-time investigation into the self-assembly of metal nanoparticle monolayers. The OWG spectroscopy makes it possible to use the transverse electric (TE) and transverse magnetic (TM) modes to measure surface plasmon absorption of immobilized metal nanoparticles in two directions, parallel and normal to the waveguide surface. Therefore, this technique can provide direction-dependent information on the metal nanoparticles at the interface. In this paper, a 50-microm-thick glass plate was used as a slab waveguide and the kinetics of Au nanoparticle adsorption on a hemoglobin-functionalized glass substrate was examined in the early stage of self-assembly. The findings show that with the TE mode the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) behavior for immobilized Au nanoparticles is different from that with the TM mode.  相似文献

Five new fused-hexacyclic alkaloids, daphniglaucins D (1), E (2), F (3), G (4), and H (5), and two new yuzurimine-type alkaloids, daphniglaucins J (6) and K (7), have been isolated from the leaves of Daphniphyllum glaucescens, and the structures and relative stereochemistry were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data and chemical means.  相似文献

In this study, we prepared Sr x Ba1 – x Nb2O6 (x = 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7) thin film on 0.75 wt% La doped SrTiO3 (100) and (110) single crystal substrates. A homogeneous coating solution was prepared with Sr and Ba acetates and Nb(OEt)5 as raw materials, and acetic acid and diethlene glycol monomethyl ether as solvents. The substrates were coated with the solution by spin coating method. As-coated thin films were heated from 973 to 1273 K in air. The grains of the thin film on La doped SrTiO3 (100) were pillar shaped and arranged in right angle to each other. On the other hand, the grains of these thin films on La doped SrTiO3 were pillar shape and arranged in one direction. The crystallographic relationship of the thin film between Sr x Ba1 – x Nb2O6 and substrate that the 130 and 310 direction of the thin film on the substrate were oriented with c-axis in parallel to the substrate surface. On the other hand, (hk0) phase diffractions of Sr x Ba1 – x Nb2O6 thin film on the substrate (110) were investigated in the XRD theta-2theta measurement. It is expected that the Sr x Ba1 – x Nb2O6 (x = 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7) were highly oriented or epitaxial growing on La doped SrTiO3 (110) single crystal substrate.  相似文献

The quenching rate of singlet oxygen (1O2) by seven kinds of flavonoids (flavone, flavonol, chrysin, apigenin, rutin, quercetin, and myricetin) with 2,3-double bonds has been measured spectrophotometrically in ethanol at 35 degrees C. The overall rate constants kQ (= kq + kr, physical quenching + chemical reaction) increased as the number of OH groups substituted to the flavone skeleton (that is, the total electron-donating capacity of flavonoids) increases. The existence of catechol or pyrogallol structure in the B-ring is essential for the 1O2 quenching of flavonoids. Log kQ was found to correlate with their peak oxidation potentials, E(P); the flavonoids that have smaller E(P) values show higher reactivities. Similarly, log kQ values of flavonoids correlate with the energy level of the highest occupied molecular orbital (E(HOMO)), calculated by the PM3 MO method, and the longest wavelength pi pi* excitation energy (E(ex)). The contribution of the chemical reaction (kr) was found to be negligible in these flavonoids. The kQ values of rutin, quercetin, and myricetin [(1.21 approximately 5.12) x 10(8) M(-1) s(-1)] were found to be larger than those of lipids [(0.9 approximately 6.4) x 10(4) M(-1) s(-1)], amino acids (<3.7 x 10(7) M(-1) s(-1)), and DNA (5.1 x 10(5) M(-1) s(-1)). The result suggests that these flavonoids may contribute to the protection of oxidative damage in foods and plants, by quenching 1O2.  相似文献

The Si Si bond of a pentacoordinated disilicate was readily cleaved by treatment with 2,3‐dichloro‐5,6‐dicyano‐p‐benzoquinone in the presence of sodium carbonate under mild conditions. The bond cleavage did not proceed under the same conditions after conversion of the disilicate into the corresponding monoanionic silylsilicate and neutral disilane by protonation. The difference in the charges of the Si Si bond compounds affects the reactivity toward an oxidant, resulting in the Si Si bond cleavage, considering that all of these compounds have a bond between pentacoordinated silicon atoms.  相似文献

The anaerobe Clostridium acetobutylicum belongs to the most important industrially used bacteria. Whereas genome mining points to a high potential for secondary metabolism in C. acetobutylicum, the functions of most biosynthetic gene clusters are cryptic. We report that the addition of supra-physiological concentrations of cysteine triggered the formation of a novel natural product, clostrisulfone ( 1 ). Its structure was fully elucidated by NMR, MS and the chemical synthesis of a reference compound. Clostrisulfone is the first reported natural product with a diphenylsulfone scaffold. A biomimetic synthesis suggests that pentamethylchromanol-derived radicals capture sulfur dioxide to form 1 . In a cell-based assay using murine macrophages a biphasic and dose-dependent regulation of the LPS-induced release of nitric oxide was observed in the presence of 1 .  相似文献

Anaerobic bacteria have only recently been recognized as a source of antibiotics; yet, the metabolic potential of Negativicutes (Gram-negative staining Firmicutes) such as the oak-associated Dendrosporobacter quercicolus has remained unknown. Genome mining of D. quercicolus and phylogenetic analyses revealed a gene cluster for a type II polyketide synthase (PKS) complex that belongs to the most ancestral enzyme systems of this type. Metabolic profiling, NMR analyses, and stable-isotope labeling led to the discovery of a new family of anthraquinone-type polyphenols, the dendrubins, which are diversified by acylation, methylation, and dimerization. Dendrubin A and B were identified as strong antibiotics against a range of clinically relevant, human-pathogenic mycobacteria.  相似文献
