ON THE RATE OF CONVERGENCE OF CONJUGATE LEGENDRE-FOURIER SERIES OF FUNCTION OF BOUNDED VARIATION

This paper gives the degree of approximation of function of bounded variation by the partial sums of con-jngate Legendre-Fourier Series.     

THEORY OF INFRA-RED ABSORPTION OF MOLECULES

In this paper, we apply the adiabatic approximation model to the IR absorption of molecules. Expressions of the band shape functions for isothermal and isolated systems are obtained and using Einstein model we discuss the dependence of the band shape functions on temperature, normal coodinate shifts and energy.We also obtain a very simple expression of the correlation function when Svv′< 1 and discuss its effect on the band shape function.     

THE DISTRIBUTION OF ZEROS OF SOLUTIONS OF NEUTRAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH A VARIABLE DELAY

In this paper, the distribution of zeros of solutions of the first-order neutral differential equation with a variable delayis studied. The estimate for the distance between adjacent zeros of the oscillatory solution of the above equation is obtained.

EXTREMES OF RATIOS OF DETERMINANTS AND CANONICAL CORRELATION VARIABLES

This article develops some extremes of the ratios of determinants. The results are themultivariate extensions of the extremes of quadratic forms, and can be applied to finding thecanonicai correlation variables of two random vectors. Hence a group of canonical correlationvariables is a solution of the extreme of the ratio of determinants.     

ON THE LINEARITY OF TESTING PLANARITY OF GRAPHS

In 1978, the author published a paper in which a characteristic theorem of 'planarity of a graph was provided as determining if another graph has a fundamental circuit with a certain property. However, the new graph is with, at worst, quadratic order of the vertex number of the original graph.This paper presents a new criterion of testing planarity of a graph based on what the author obtained before. Fortunately, it is equivalent to finding a spanning tree in another graph with only linear order of the vertex number of the original one in the worst case.     

PROJECTIVE DIFFERENTIAL GEOMETRY OF SINGULARITIES OF PLANE CURVES

<正> In a recent paper the present author has established somerepresentations for a plane curve C in the neighbourhood of a singularpoint O characterized by the property that the tangent t(?) of C at O hasa contact of order m—1((?)2) with the curve.For convenience'sakewe have adopted non-homogeneous coordinates x,y of a point to represent the expansion of the curve.     

OVERCONVERGENCE AND ZEROS OF SEQUENCES OF RATIONAL FUNCTIONS

In the present paper we consider sequences of rational functions with a bounded number or free poles con-verging uniformly with a maximum geometric rate to a holomorphic function on a regular set,and we examinethe limiting distribution of the Zeros and its relations with the phenomenon of overconvergence.Our resultsfurther extend the well known classical theory of overconvergence and the zeros of sections of Taylor series.     

OPTIMIZATION OF ADAPTIVE DIRECT METHOD FOR APPROXIMATE SOLUTION OF INTEGRAL EQUATIONS OF SEVERAL VARIABLES

This paper determines the exact error order on optimization of adaptive directmethods of approximate solution of the class of Fredholm integral equations of the secondkind with kernel belonging to the anisotropic Sobolev classes, and also gives an optimalalgorithm.     

矩阵方程AX=B,XC=D的定秩解

本文研究了一类矩阵方程组解的秩的范围.利用矩阵的奇异值分解以及Frobenius范数的特征,得到了解的极值秩以及解的通式,并就这些问题的特殊情况进行了讨论,得到了一些结果.     

Suzuki群Sz(q)和线性空间的自同构群

本文研究了线性空间的几乎单的线传递自同构群.利用有限线性空间上线传递自同构群的经典结论,以及Suzuki群Sz(q)的性质,获得了线性空间上线传递且点本原的自同构群的基柱不是Sz(q)的结果,推广了关于线传递性空间的已有结果.     

On the law S ( S ( x , y ), T ( x , y )) = S ( x , y ) of fuzzy logic

Motivated by some functional models arising in fuzzy logic, when classical boolean relations between sets are generalized, we study the functional equation S(S(x, y), T(x, y)) = S(x, y), where S is a continuous t-conorm and T is a continuous t-norm. Some interesting methods for solving this type of equations are introduced.     

矩阵方程AXB+CY D=E的三对角中心对称极小范数最小二乘解

本文研究了矩阵方程AXB+CY D=E的三对角中心对称极小范数最小二乘解问题.利用矩阵的Kronecker积和Moore-Penrose广义逆方法,得到了矩阵方程AXB+CY D=E的三对角中心对称极小范数最小二乘解的表达式.     

矩阵方程AX=B的中心对称定秩解及其最佳逼近

本文研究了矩阵方程AX=B的中心对称解.利用矩阵对的广义奇异值分解和广义逆矩阵,获得了该方程有中心对称解的充要条件以及有解时,最大秩解、最小秩解的一般表达式,并讨论了中心对称最小秩解集合中与给定矩阵的最佳逼近解.     

满旗流形SO(8)=T上不变爱因斯坦度量

本文研究了迷向表示分为12个不可约子空间的满旗流形SO(8)=T上不变爱因斯坦度量的问题.利用计算机计算满旗流形SO(8)=T爱因斯坦方程组的方法, 得到了满旗流形SO(8)=T上有160 个不变爱因斯坦度量(up to a scale)的结果, 在等距情况下考虑这160个不变爱因斯坦度量, 其中1个是凯莱爱因斯坦度量, 4 个是非凯莱爱因斯坦度量. 推广了只对迷向表示分为小于等于6个不可约子空间的满旗流形上不变爱因斯坦度量的研究.     

关于f+a(f(k))n值分布的一个注记

本文研究亚纯函数的值分布问题.利用值分布理论,获得了一个带精简密指量的模分布的不等式,改进了Xu和Yang等人的结果.

Rado Numbers fora(x+y)=bz

In the case of existence the smallest numberN=Ra_kis called a Rado number if it is guaranteed that anyk-coloring of the numbers 1, 2, …, Ncontains a monochromatic solution of a given system of linear equations. We will determine Ra_k(a, b) for the equationa(x+y)=bzifb=2 andb=a+1. Also, the case of monochromatic sequences {x_n} generated bya(x_n+x_n+1)=bx_n+2 is discussed.     

Relative ( pn , p , pn , n )-difference sets with GCD ( p , n )=1

Let p be an odd prime. We first get some non-existence and structural results on (pn,p,pn,n) relative difference sets with gcd(p,n)=1 through a group ring approach. We then give a construction of (p(p+1),p,p(p+1),p+1) relative difference sets with p a Mersenne prime. Supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (10331030).
